Google camera mod with HDR+ error - OnePlus 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey, I am using OnePlus 2 with Resurrection Remix 5.8.3 and stock gapps.
On installing mod Google camera with hdr+, the camera crashes with message "camera keeps stopping" ; same problem persist with normal google camera app and Google camera hdr+ with zero shutter lag app. Any one knows how to fix this.
Earlier Google camera 2.7.10 installed with gapps worked fine... But won't install after Uninstalling it....

Your question should be in a thread for that app or in Q&A thread for the mod.
I believe this is the app you're talking about, if that is the app you're talking about then I don't think One Plus 2 supports it.
This is the subforum for posting apps, not errors about the apps, I suggest you go to the relevant thread

How to flash S4 camera and Task Manager in Aurora N4/S6 ROM?

Hey guys, I flashed the Aurora N4/S6 Lollipop ROM on my GT-I9500 a month or so ago and it's the best ROM I've flashed so far. I do miss the S4 task manager though and the S6 camera is buggy so I wanted to know how would I flash these two items again? Would I have to refresh the Ron again or what?
There are other camera apps on the okay store too.
Google the s4 camera app because someone may have already extracted the camera apk.

OK, what about the task manager? I'd prefer to use the stock version
Sorry, I'm not sure about the stock task manager as I don't have an s4 at the moment.
Maybe someone knows of a way to extract the apk from a stock ROM?
I'd also rather not have 2 Camera apps. If I could flash them in the aroma installer that came with the ROM, that'd be better
Here is the stock camera

And i haven't task manager, u can use another task manager app from store.
I flashed that camera app and it made things worse. The app no longer opens now and just crashes and my phone is lagging now. Was it supposed to "optimize" 222 apps when I rebooted?

Reflash camera zip file then wipe cache and dalvik, after reboot ur device, go titanium backup and wipe data of camera app.
Ur stock camera is ready for use...
Ok that worked.
I'd like to say I'm free of issues but I have one last issue that needs to be remedied. When I first flashed the aurora rom, I couldn't record any snapchat videos. They would be green and distorted. I was hoping flashing the stock camera would fix that but it didn't. Anyone else have this issue with snapchat videos?
Edit
This what my Snapchat video looks like
bump
Anyone?

Stock camera app for RR 5.7.5

Currently I am on Nougat 7.1.2 on Ressurection Remix 5.7.5 and I flashed Beans GAPPS however for some reason the camera app, its the google camera app, doesn't work at all although camera on other apps like snapchat and instagram work fine. Is it possible to get the google camera app or maybe somehow the stock camera app to work on here? Thanks

Reliable camera?

This is no real fault of a particular rom but more every custom rom I've tried on the 6t. I can not find a camera that fully works. I always end up back on OOS. I'm self employed and do my own marketing, I take photos and videos of projects before, during and after completion and while I've tried various cameras, some work better, some not, sadly after some time they all either stop working, videos lag, or simply the camera stops connecting randomly. I say all the above, not as criticism but for advice from other users. Do you use a camera that fully works, is stable and has decent quality? If so, name it please. Thanks
I have been using the gcam that is included with the XXxNoLimits Magisk module for some time and had no problems.
I am rooted, using the Omega kernel, OOS 9.0.17, and xXx. There is also a thread on xda for the latest gcam port.
I believe you can also download the gcam google app from the play store. I am as un googled as I can be so I am not 100%on this one.
I was planning on installing Lineage, but now that I have this set up with the debloating and tweaks for the battery PLUS the gcam( best I have found ) I am a happy camper.
Hope there is something here that might help.

Thanks for the reply. I am on OOS Q at the moment and have debloated it using the magisk module and you are correct, it's a lot better but I'm after more pure Android ROMs. I've tried about every version of gcam I've found with different configs based off others recommendation but they always end up not working eventually.

Stock Camera on Custom ROMs.

I know, I know, I'm on XDA so I must want the GCAM mod all the way!
I've managed to install the Pixel Experience ROM on my Mi Mix 3 5G and I'm loving what I see so far, I just miss the stock camera. I've extracted the APK from the stock ROM but it won't install on my Pixel Experience ROM. It's throwing up the error "App not installed" when I try to install the extracted APK. I assume this is possibly due to it trying to save in the same folder as the 'stock' camera that comes preinstalled with the Pixel Experience ROM.
Does anyone have an installable APK for the stock camera or suggest any way of me editing the APK to be able to install it?
Thank you!
I don't know if this is exactly what you were after but I tried it out yesterday and so far so good.

You should use anx camera with this Rom instead of Google camera
To anyone using this rom, anxcamera is a must have! It's the miui camera ported over to AOSP and everything is working fine (incudes front flash, 960fps slow motion, 4k h265, filters and effects and the lot) I haven't experienced any bugs with it either and the quality in on par with the Google camera app. Download from the official website as the developer closed his xda forum

I've tried a few gcam's and anx, but all I get is a static image in Camera. If I move the phone around, the first image that locked in the camera is static, it doesn't change. And no, it's not an image I took from pushing the camera button, it's static from starting up the camera.
I don't seem to be able to get this to work. If anyone has any filenames of what I should download, that'd be really helpful! Or better yet, any links. I would really appreciate the help!
