I've kept my eye on search on both XDA (i've searched my ass off) and Google - I can't find ANY intel on when GS is said to get their shipments.
The few people that got theirs from GS don't provide much info.
Is gamestop supposed to get a shipment soon, or am I DEFINITELY waiting til September 30th? (I *really* want to withdraw the $100 I put on it, and just buy it somewhere that has it, but I am getting a lot from trade-ins)
I ordered mine on the 22nd, and whenever I call in they have *no* idea what's going on with them.
Anyone know? O-o
I believe I saw they will be getting a shipment August 7th. I think I saw it on one of the major tech blog sites but I can't remember for sure.
I got mine at Gamestop on a walk-in that Saturday after they went on the website as shipping in 1 day then they went backordered. When I went in guy said he didn't even think his store would get one because nobody preordered it and they weren't expecting anything til August at the soonest. Now I heard September as well when I stopped in the other day thats pretty crazy
I preordered mine on the 17th of July on Gamestop and received my Nexus yesterday, and I was told that it would arrive on August 7th.

The quality is great. No defects so far. The only downside I have noticed is that it won't charge off anything except the charger that came with it.

sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but that is an actual defect. Search around, and you'll see what i mean. If you can live with it, do so by all means..But i could see it getting annoying in the long run

I've been on the phone all morning calling all the AT&Ts around trying to find out who's got the S4, and no one seems to have it or know when they're getting it, some say they expect to get them some time tmrw, others said they will today, and a few have told me they usually get shipments in the morning, and it being 1pm now they don't expect anything else today
I've been getting bad news and dead ends everywhere..
have any of you had any luck with your local AT&Ts? just heard this morning Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile got pushed back due to supply issues.. which makes me worry about my ability to pick one up tmrw morning.. shouldn't AT&T have stock by now and be setting up displays?
kinda worried.. any of you guys having better luck than i am?

I picked up mine yesterday, but I think I was more the exception than the rule. I preordered mine last weekend and the store received it yesterday, but they said mine was the only one that arrived. =( I hope you get yours soon!

I got mine from pre-order on Tuesday via FedEx. This thing is awesome.
The story keeps changing
Initially weeks ago I was told to come back to my store when preorders shipped and I could pick one up. Then I was told Tuesday in the store that they would be released today so I made an appointment to upgrade at opening today. When I called to confirm my appoinment and the arrival of the S4's last night they told me they are not releasing until Saturday. Tired of getting the run around, I called 3 other AT&T stores and confirmed that Saturday is the day. They actually posted it on twittter earlier in the week but I guess I was hoping that to be wrong so I could get it sooner than Saturday. But it is what it is people, deal with it or go somewhere else to get it....
FYI, avoid lines and waiting tomorrow morning for the release and make an appointment for an upgrade if you are an AT&T customer. Schedule for when the store opens and you will be the first walking out the door with that little gem in your hands. That tip is for free....
I saw that appointment thing, but I figured they wouldn't really honor it tomorrow.

The best phone I've ever used. Not one complaint yet. .. well besides the lack of root but in due time
I love the display settings. If you hate the usual over saturated Amoleds then you can easily change the color calibration easily.
1080p screen is amazing. The camera is really detailed and a lot of fun with all the features included. I'll post a full res picture in the next post.

Got mine this past Wednesday, I pre ordered from att premiere website. Love the screen and size, the cell is slippery as heck though I would advise getting a case. I ordered a neo case from spigen

Walked into my AT&T store (Reno) today and they had both colors in stock.
The Att corporate store where I live in Kentucky has them in stock to sell. I went in to try out the demo unit. The nice sales last asked me if I wanted one since they had them in stock. Two things stopped me: I am a Verizon customer and waiting (perhaps with futility) for a 32gb version. That 9gb of free storage would be filled over by some of my Gameloft games alone.

Hey You may wanna check your tracking info. I got my email as well and it says delivery Wednesday 8/28 but when I checked the tracking number from Fedex it says Motorola sent it over night shipping and it'll be delivered TODAY!

They are just managing expectations as being at the front of the order queue will probably still get yours delivered in four days, but it's mostly the people who ordered over after Friday that it might take longer due to backlog from demand.

Overnight shipping is standard even though they don't say it at the checkout.

EDIT: Just pulled up the tracking info. It's out for delivery.

Yeah, doesn't hurt for them to play safe with early estimates and it also helps that there are still a lot of att and best buy stores that don't have the motoX display yet. I went to BB on Saturday to buy a RocketFish tpu case and a sales guy was trying sell an HTC One to a customer. I can't help but think how that sales pitch would be different if they had the displays set up.

I ordered a 32 GB. The only customizations I did was a black faceplate, the black textured back, and yellow metallic buttons and accent. I couldn't decided on a custom boot message so I did not get one.

I originally received a response for the 360 cam saying it was refused because I didn't sign the receipt. I printed another copy, signed it, and submitted it again. That was about 7 days ago. Today I received an email saying my entry was accepted for the camera. I have still not received anything regarding the extra battery.

I received the 360 cam with my phone, I also got an email about the battery bundle still waiting for a confirmation on it
You can check the progress on your battery promotion by going back to the site where you filled out the form in the first place. I checked and it says still processing.

Like others, I've heard back on the 360 cam, but nothing on the battery. The whole reason I buy a phone with a removable battery is so I can swap and right now if it were available, I would buy a spare battery and charger but LG says they are not available for purchase yet. I cannot stand having to plug in and charge so hopefully we get our freebies soon or the option to buy.
Well I spoke too soon, just got the confirmation email on the battery promotion. Says 4-6 weeks for delivery.
Just got mine this morning too. The battery and cradle are on their way!

Quick question: I've already received my battery from the promotion, but it seemed like the camera/battery thing was an either/or situation so I thought I had to pick between the two and decided on the battery. It looks like some of you are getting both! That's awesome!
My main question is, when I go to the promotion site and click on the camera, it asks about "participating retailers". Did any of you go to a store that was explicitly promoting this? Because I don't think mine was, and kinda don't want to go through the effort... unless this is your situation too, in which case, I totally will.
The terms and conditions says something to the effect that if phone was sold at official store or authorized seller your eligible it looks like best buy purchased g5 ineligible
So it's worth the try... It's only 5 minutes out of your life

The participating retailers quote raised an eyebrow for me too and technically I had to order by phone through T-Mobile's site since they didn't have it at the physical store but I was told by both T-Mobile customer support and the store employee that I was eligible for the camera. I already received my battery (took ~3 weeks) but the camera has been under "status: Verifying Claim" for about a week and a half.

Thank you both, I've submitted the information- I was mistaken the when I first looked... I thought I was going to have to physically mail them the UPC code from the box and immediately didn't want to deal with the hassle. This is obviously not the case. I'll report back if there's any movement!
Well, I submitted for the camera and it was approved too! Again, this wasn't advertised in the store and I literally wouldn't have know about this promotion had I not clicked on a banner ad advertising it.
I also submitted for the battery for my wife's G5 and that's on the way, and I just submitted again for the camera- and I should point out, today (the 24th) is the last day to do so, so if you're gonna at least try, get on it!
I received my shipping notification for the 360 Cam this morning.
Shipped today via UPS, scheduled arrival not until May 18.
Anyone else order late on prime day waiting for their order to ship? Its driving me nuts lol...

mine was officially charged today as well, I did the 5 month payment plan, because why not, and have an official day of Saturday for delivery but still hasn't shipped ?

Mine arrived yesterday. ADP, rooted, cust kernel kcal set, substrate sai, AOD mod.. Camera mod... Only real thing I miss from my Pixel 2XL is a larger screen. Colors aren't as good as the Amoled.. But overall snappy and runs well.
Anyone get any updates on their white model orders, other than coming in by the 8th?

same I love my pixel 2 xl but couldn't resist this price, just received the Android pie update on both!
Price dropped back down to $349 on Amazon
Add me to the Essential users...just ordered one from Amazon, price down to $329, should be here next Wednesday.
Had they released it at THIS price, they may have had a better "first run".
