OTA updating Global Developer (Unlocked + TWRP)

Hi guys, I have a global MTK. Flashed to developer using rom "Redmi Note 4 MTK Latest Global Developer Version Fastboot File Download" downloaded from http://en.miui.com/a-234.html.
Unlocked bootloader, and flashed TWRP.
I attemtped to do an OTA update, and got the following error when phone rebooted to TWRP for installation of updates:
Package expects build fingerprint of Xiaomi/nike/nikel:6.0/MRA78K/7.3.2:user/release-keys or Xiaomi/nikel/nikel:6.0/MRA58K/7.3.9:user/release-keys; this device has Xiaomi/cm_nikel/nikel:6.0.1/MOB30R/5e2200086f/test-keys

About Phone reads:
Android Version: 6.0 MRA58K
MIUI Version: MIUI 8 Global 7.3.2 | Beta
Any ideas?
edit: so that was a 100MB update. When I checked for updates again I got a 1GB+ update instead. That one flashed fine. IMO I probably accidentally tried to apply a non-developer update (which was available before I flashed to developer?).
Anyway, all sorted now (it's rebooting). Cheers

[HELP] Error with update to android 7 (error code 7)

Hello everyone!
I have a problem with the firmware update
XT1563_LUX_RETAR-MOVLA_6.0.1_MPDS24.107-52-5_cid12_subsidy-MOVSTLA_CFC.xml.zip I flashed on my XT1563 and it does not accept the update. The update file, from what I could see, is called Blur_Version.24.201.5.lux_retar.retar.en.AR.zip
I flashed that firmware and the last TWRP (310) but the update does not come before or after the SuperSU. (Error code 7 .. ¿?)
I need to update before put the TWRP ??
Thanks!

Updating using the update file requires you to be completely stock and that means not having twrp installed or any other change in the stock rom however minor it maybe.
I don't know about whether an unlocked bootloader creates problem in that.

Official rom updates

Hi,
I've bought an X720 since 6 months ago. I'me very statisfied of the device but I don't how launch updates.
No OTA udaptes ? I've eUI 5.9.020S and it looks like some peoples have more recent version.
I'me from France and I've buy the device on ALI Ex. How should I do ? Should I create an account in LeCloud (leeco cloud) ?
Thanks
The lastest for x720 is 5.9.026s after kernel patch (since june?). You should try to install ROM from recovery, then wipe.

ok, but there is no OTA updates ?
Where should I download update ? I need to install recovery to (TWRP) ?
You can't do it trough TWRP. You have to have stock LeEco recovery. You can download 023s from official website or search at xda 026s version. Idk what's going on with OTA. If you have ****ty modded ROM, you should install the official one.

Btw. If download doesnt start, remove :110 from download link.

Back to stock ROM. How?

Hello guys,
Im using an ZTE Axon 7 with unkocked bootloader, rooted, and using a custom ROM and twrp. I **** to try the original and latest version of the official ROM to see how well the performance are. Is there a package for this that can be installed using TWRP and after it has been installed, my phone is in the original state again?
I saw an update on the ZTE website from 25/07/2018. (Version B35) Is this Android 8?
https://www.zteusa.com/axon-7
Can I install this package by using TWRP aswell?
Flash a zip package in twrp. But flash an twrp image after the rom. The stock rom overwrites the twrp with stock recovery.
Thanks! So, no matter wich bootstock Im using, I can just install the zip from te ZTE website using TWRP and that's it?
EDIT: on the website, there is only A2017U model. No G or A. Does this matter?

It does matter.
Flash this instead so you keep TWRP.

Thanks.
That is also an option. But I still prefer the latest version from te website as I hope that this is Android 8 and want to really have it at factory stock again.

The B35 (U-version) is 7.1.1
Try this : https://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/development/rom-slm-dfnr-t3744388
It's totaly stock or at least derived from the B35 that you want.
Or make your day and try this 8.0.0 : https://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/how-to/official-beta-android-8-0-0-v2-10b12-t3797085
Beta, U version based but definitely worth a try
Or go back to factory with the @djkuz EDL Tool. The B35 is in the OP. https://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/development/axon-7-edl-tool-flash-backup-restore-t3750759

B35 (from that site) is Nougat, not Oreo.
Oreo was not released officially so you won't find it in the ZTE website.
The current release (B12) is a -buggy- beta and missing some features. It's really not worth it. Battery life is atrocious (probably less than 2hs SoT).
You're better off with B10 (latest for A2017G) or B35 (latest for A2017U).
Those are the latest official firmwares for the phone and both are Nougat 7.1.1. Pay no attention to the numbers, as B10 is identical (update wise) to B35. Flash whatever you like. There's really no other option.
If you prefer the original stock experience with nothing touched or removed/added, you will have to flash a firmware via EDL mode. But that way you lose TWRP unless you replace recovery.img with a compatible TWRP version before flashing with Xiaomi Flash and your device is completely erased.
Forget about Oreo for the moment.
