With pretty much zero tweaks to maximize battery life (beyond disabling a few of the VZW bloat apps), I'm averaging 6+ SOT and the phone isn't dropping below 25%. I've seen others who are doing better, but in my experience this is great.

Thanks Dan, great SOT. :highfive:
Bought the Mrs a G Flex 2 a few years ago and the battery life on paper should be been great, (FHD POLED + 3000mah Battery.) but was always rubbish. I'm glad that you are living proof of what should be great on paper. :victory:

with mainly chatting and some youtubing inhouse with wlan connection and auto brightness (limited to 80% max brightness configured in the "extended" battery saver option) i'm getting over 10 hours SoT. that's pretty awesome.
(currently i have little over 2h30m SoT with 81% battery left :0)
edit: I'm going to bed now. 50% battery left. and over 5h30m SoT.

Battery life is insane on this device. I still get incredibly high SOT despite phone idle taking a lot of battery. Running naptime with the adb commands.

1hr 30 mins of sot left with 64% battery
48mins of gaming
Battery saver on the whole time+720+60hz, on wifi+cell, web browsing+streaming, music, vids, txting, few games, 9+ hours SOT.
GF's phone, ton of gaming/txting/fb/web, battery saver only turned on after <10%, 7+ hours SOT.
SOT is good not great but that is at 120 1440. I easily make it through the day so why change it.
This phone has amazing SOT! I'm sitting here 13hrs in, 37% battery remaining with 6hrs screen on so far.. Lots of browsing, some Lineage 2, and an hour or two of music streaming so far.. That's with bt/wifi/lte, auto brightness, max resolution and refresh rate. Just using stock without any battery saving stuff.. Alot nicer then my 6p for sure!
Its amazing i was watching episodes on netflix after 5 hours screen on time 62% of battery left.

Hi! I have a 6P and I'm on the fence about this phone. I absolutely love that it has a higher refresh rate screen, massive battery and lots of RAM. I love my 6P but the battery life could be better and the Ram management is terrible( my biggest grip). The lackluster camera on the Razer doesn't reeeeaally bother me as I don't take many pictures but how does the max screen brightness compare between the phones? If they are relatively similar that's great because I'm happy with the brightness on my 6P. Thanks for your help.

It's more than enough.. Especially if you turn off auto-brightness it gets very bright! I run my phone dimmer cause I like it, but it gets very bright, not sure what all the criticism was about.
The camera is lacking features and the quality is still average at best, but if you use one of the google/pixel camera ports it helps with the quality.. I really don't find the quality that bad myself, but the missing features definitely compared to the opengapps one.
Best so far I've had.
Average around 6hrs. In my opinion best battery life I've ever had on a phone.
Resolution @ 1440p
Refresh @ 120hz
That is amazing specially if flagship devices cant even do half of that in most cases.

OMG, don't get me started on the s8.. lol
Resolution 1440p
Refresh 120Hz
Brightness ~35%
Ambient Display Off
Adaptive Brightness Off
Night light Off
Build number .853
SOT ~8hours (2hours of which was Maps in the car.)
~10min voice call
~2hour WhatsApp call
Quite unprecedented since my many years since day dot with Android.
As good as the SOT is, I'm more appreciating how the device deep sleeps - I like that flat line on the graph.
No need to fight with Android ecosystem or any quirky issues preventing deep sleep: the Razer sleeps like a baby (no greenify, battery improvement nor brevent nor lspeed nor sdmaid equivalent apps) :good:
Well done Razer.
Now sort the tiny quirks and smack this out of the park

Nice!!
I am still impressed with the battery management.
Almost 6 hours (last time I checked). So very impressive.
Easily over 4 hours with heavy gaming and app downloading. ... and music playing over Bluetooth all day.
4 hours to 4.30 hours with 1+ gaming (guns of boom) medium settings (1440p 90Hz). good standby drain
Anyone mind posting battery degraded sot results after owning it for a while? Ty

First of all, GSM Arena's unit was faulty and didn't do well in their test. Battery life on this phone is superb even though it has "only" a 3000 mah battery. I got 5 hours and still 15 percent left. I have to go to bed now so I'm gonna put it on charge but it lasted me all day and more.
I'm using a Huawei Watch 2 connected all day through Bluetooth (that drains a lot), 2 SIM cards, WhatsApp and WhatsApp business and loads of social networking.
Motorola does some really high quality batteries. It's probably better than other phones with 3500 - 4000 mAh.
I'm also satisfied with the SOT.
I was also positive surprised about battery life, I get between 5 and 6 h sot, much better than my LG G6 who has a bigger battery on paper but only gets around 5 h sot in real life.
Can anybody confirm that battery is long lasting for people who don't have screen turned on all the time? I'm giving screenshots for my good old g5s plus.

Not as good as that but close
An example of what I'm getting so far as not a very heavy user, definitely better than my G5+ with same size battery.

That's super good. Can't believe people and blogs are spreading so much hate of this phone.
I am Not very Happy with my screen on time, but it is ok.
The Phone is awesome,i Like it very much.
Another example: this time a little better at almost 7 hrs SOT at 15%.
And another for over 8 hrs at 15%.
Do you guys use your phones? You seem good candidates for flip phones. Just teasing.
Glad to see the Plus is doing so well. I opted for the dual sim Power. I'm gettin 12-14 hours screen time and have no problems breaking 40 hours. I backpack a lot and wanted the longer battery life for mapping and music while out in the back country for a few days. I have to say I am impressed. the 720 display on the Power is pretty nice for a 720 but it does have a flipping big notch.
I'm getting over 5 and a half hours of SOT. :good: (Right after a factory reset)
What's up?
I'm getting this:
I was using mostly Chrome and about 20 minutes playing Asphalt 8 and using camera for about 3 minutes. Brightness is at about 50% usually.
If I have brightness on 100% (outdoor in sunny days) I'm getting about an hour less SoT during the same time frame (22 hours).

I had a Oneplus 3 since october 2016 and I did not realised how bad the battery was. During the last 2 years I had 2h30 of sot MAX, mosty 2h.
With the Oneplus Nord, after the first charge I got 4h30 of sot (36 hours of usage) and still 21% battery left.
I don't game, mostly web browsing.

This has me a bit worried. I have had a Huawei mate 20 and a Xiaomi mij 9t pro that got me 6 to 7 hours easily... And those had 4000 mAh.
This proves everything is relative. It is more than enough for me.
Don't forget It was only the first cycle so I cannot conclude anything yet.
Not to bad after 4 day's actually. 5.5 hours SOT and 33% left. Most of the time spend on WiFi though.
9h
Just web browsing. Little youtube , 30 minutes or so. Wifi. Brightness auto.
Update
Well , there it is.
Battery is great. Period.
Battery is great. Usually I get 7-8 of sot. Also the charging is ridiculously fast for me as I switched from a 4 year old phone with just a 5 watt charger.
Also getting 7-8 hours screen time. impressed

Nice how are your settings and how much standby time ?
Check on lte or 5g only and show the graphs .
Battery drainage is not just a nord domain.
Very satisfied
I only charged twice so far, but both times I barely got over 6 hours SOT. Using 60hz, on WiFi, mostly just browsing web, no gaming.
Do you think battery will get better with time?

Your screen shot shows battery life that is massively better than any other reports I have ever seen. Literally close to double anyone else. It makes me a little skeptical.

Well maybe it is so high because I did not used the phone that much then and it was new , not so many apps instaled .
Now a get max 8 hours .
So , it just hapend I guess.
One HIT wonder like. ?
I am barely getting 4-5 hours of SoT. Is there something that I need to do to boost up my battery life?
When I first got the phone battery life was just ok 4 hrs sot. After 5 days its improved by quite a bit including the latest September update.
Am on 90hz all the time. Blocked all Facebook. So far its ok. Would have been great if it had a slightly bigger battery.
I will get an 6 or 7 hrs screen on time on 90hz,
In this picture iam using continues hotspot thats why its low

I'm a bit disappointed with the SoT figures I'm getting. I would've expected 5 hours a day with at least 25% battery life left. However I'm roughly getting 4 hours by the time the phone hits Stamina mode.

You should be definitely be getting more.
I usually get 6.5 to 8 hours SOT on my Xperia 1 II. So you should be definitely be getting more than that
This is very strange. I am getting 8-9 hours of screen on time within 1-2 day usage. Try to disable everything you don't use (all the Google data collection and other ****) and see if it helps.

Same.
My Poco F1 with LCD and bigger screen has a better screen on time.
Something is fishy here, I'm using DarkMode and a low background light.
Which Software you guys are using? Mine firmware is: 58.0.A.10.21
I think it has todo with the Vodafone branded software.
58.0.A.12.23
So it is not an old Firmware issues. There must be something hardware related issues.
Does your phone also get warm while using it?
When I browse through Google News (WiFi) it gets noticeable warm.
I am happy with my battery life - fully loaded 2 days ago, now at 28% after 6h30m Screen on time.
Mine get 7.5 hours. Pretty satisfy with this phone.
I'm getting about 6 hours sot from 90% to about 19%. Not as good as I expected.
Edit: above usage with 120hz setting. For mine, the SOT fluctuates. On one of the days, the SOT was only 4hrs. Trying to find out what's taking up the usage.
It would be helpful if you write if you use 60 or 120 hz.
Battery life on 5 II is very good, SOT, 7-8h, aprox.30+hour.. 120Hz

Wow, that's a big difference. Really got to find out what's using the battery on mine.

Some SS

thats crazy screen time, how does your google play services say only used for 25mins?? for me today google play services has been used for 7hrs25mins so far and its only mid afternoon i have no idea why its always on...even though google play services only uses up around 4% battery each day for me it always says used for around 10hrs each day, any tips on how i can get mine down to a respectable 25mins like yours?
Sony phones has some miraclemagic in their batteries, very good results indeed. I tested last two cycles, first with 120hz and another one with 60hz.
120hz: 100-1%, 9h 30min SOT during 41h time period.
60hz: 100-1%< 11h 36min SOT during 48h time period.
Mostly on wifi at home, lot of videos, social media and web surfing.
Power consumption at idle state is the best. I have had 4 mornings in a row with the same battery percent that was last night. 0% consumption during night. Gotta love it.
Very good battery life, with 120Hz enabled.
Do you guys actually use the "Battery saving mode" function? You know that charging the battery to 100% and discharging to 1% slowly kills the battery lifespan? That's why Sony developed this technology, so why not use it? I have set mine to 80% and charge my phone every day so my battery never goes over 80% or below 20%...

12 hours when playing YouTube over Wi-Fi
I had battery saver active during this screenshot, but found most charges without it or with will be 7-8 hours of SoT. In my professional opinion, extremely solid battery, the best I've ever owned in a phone.
