Meizu MX4 video recording continuous AF not working - Meizu MX

Stock camera of all version of FlymeOS, on video mode, it only autofocus once, at the beginning of video recording. Continuous AF is not working, the only way to focus is tap to focus. Is there any tweak or hack to enable continuous video AF using stock camera?
Other camera apps like Google Camera, continuous focus works like a charm on video mode so this problem is related to the stock camera I guess. there are several benefits of using the stock camera like 4k recording and slow-mo, but the lack of continuous AF in video recording is killing me.
Someone know how to solve this problem?

I guess it has something to do with 4k video recording, ince it doesnt work with other app, it must be a proprietary software issue. You can tap to focus, and in real life this actually works out better than continuous autofocus because you dont get that weird effect of the device focusing when you dont want it to. It would be nice to have the option to change it though. Meizu will never learn.

Video Camera Focus Issue?

When I start off by recording an object that is close the camera obvisouly focus's correctly before recording starts, but if you record a far away object whilst still recording the camera doesnt auto focus as you thought it should. It only seems to focus just before recording starts.

[Q] MT4G Video Recording: Switch between front and rear facing cameras

I have been searching for a video RECORDING apps that will enable me to switch between the front-facing and the rear-facing cameras in mid-recording (without stopping the recording).
Qik and the myTouch 4G default cameras allow you to switch, but only when not recording. The other camera then gets disabled, and if you want to switch, you have to stop recording. I don't really wanna stitch 2 videos together, although I guess this is the short term answer until an app is made or an existing one supports this.
I have searched a few forums and Google without any answers. Is this even possible (even with root) or is this just wishful thinking?
EDIT: I know this is possible with video chat, but I want this for video recording.

Video clarity is very bad

Hi all,
Just now I tried to make a video with my SGS2, but when it is reaching a closeup range, its quality becoming blurry, and overall quality is very poor. Even I tried to focus on a remote, we cant read the numbers in the remotes with this video. But still image is very perfect. Do anybody face this problems?
Hello, Nobody to reply? Do eveybody haven't problems with Video capturing?
Actually I have the same problem.. Autofocus while in video seems to suck pretty bad, yet in still capture the phone focuses fine. Tried to record flashing a rom on my other phone in a dark room and it refused to focus at all. Don't know why. Even if I shined a light to see if that would help but nope.
(EDIT) I just noticed that autofocus only seems to work in 1080 recording mode and only while you are recording. It does not appear that autofocus works at all in 720, 480, or any other video resolution. I can't find any info on that. Anybody know why? Is this a "feature"?

[Q] Continuous autofocus in video camera

Is there any way to turn off continuous autofocus in video mode? It makes still video pretty much unusable when it's constantly refocusing every 5-10 seconds. It's really distracting when watching the video back.
Has anyone else noticed this?
Does this not bother anyone else?
I use the S4 for filming on a tripod, and I basically can't use any of the footage because of the continuous autofocusing.
I recently tried lgCamera, it seems to have the focus options I need, but isn't really compatible with the S4 yet. The most it will capture is 15 FPS.
Suggestions?

MM video camera without autofocus

Hey guys, is there anyway to enable autofocus while recording a video on the stock camera? Aftermarket apps are able to do that, but stock doesnt.
