I've ported the MIUICamera to xiaomi's 4.1.1 AOSP some time ago and now it works with CM-10.2 and CM-11.0 too.

Does this work with Ivan's AOSP 4.4.4?
I'm missng HDR fuction in the standard camera app.

Hey M1cha, is it possible to port the new miui camera from Wajk's WIUI 4.4.4 rom to CM11? I have the impression the focus is a lot faster, quality is better, flash works more accurate and there is less banding while shooting video.

It doesn't even install in CM11 - M10

I got it!
So:
MIUI camera doesn't work with cm11(art) but only works with CM11 (dalvik)
It works also with WIUI v6 if you install it manually by replacing original poor app!

It works in new ivan's 5.0 rom.

It's camera work in ART? Or only New 5.0 ART?

Hi.... Please give additional description of what's working and what's not.
Major concerns of most porter roms
1. Battery backup, heating issues
2. Alert slider and finger print
3. Camera and camcorder
4. Volte and signal drops
5. Ram management.
Provide some screenshots if possible..
Small request. Can someone confirm is custom kernel like Blackbird or Radioactive are working on this rom. It would be awesome.

Friends am hear to introduce best rom.
I have tried a number of ROM and i finally i find the best. It is nothing but the H2OS (OxygenOS). It has best inclass performance, stability and everything i wanted. It is based on Android 7.1.1
Hear am going to introduce the steps you have to follow on installing this rom.
1: flash the rom (dont flash gaps),flash the kernal and camera blobs.
2:boot for 1st time
3:reboot recovery and flash gaps (arm 64 -7.1)(i recommend nanno)
4: go to settings and enable google playservices.
5: install android webview.
6:install google service framework (version 7.1.1)
7:if neede remove the Chinese boltes (you can do it through twrp file manager after mounting system)
8: Thats it you are ready to go.
Enjoy the fluid experience of oneplus device

What is battery life mate

Three is a newest version available. You can download it from the club.lenovo.cn. This rom is great. Im using it with stock kernel.

Does offline charging works?

Notification is aosp based. The rom is preroted with supersu but you can change it to magisk

the camera in that video seems to be aosp based, maybe snapdragon camera. the ZUI camera app in ZUI 3.1 is completely different

I think I saw it in a thread n in telegram chanel it looks dead. Is that the only rom?

Codename Phoenix is great ROM no based in oos, 8.1 with oos camera full working

There is no thread for it anywhere (the ones that existed have been closed, so you won't find anything there any which way). The telegram channel is only updated when a release is released. Yes, there hasn't been one for a while, but until the the dev (@siankatabg) says it's dead, it's not dead.

Recommended to use the latest Codeworkx or BluSpark TWRP (for 8.1) which fixes the data decryption (with pin/pattern) on encrypted phones in TWRP. You can find them in XDA.
Flashing Magisk with the ROM might lead you to bootloop/black screen. It is recommended to flash Magisk after the initial boot of the ROM.

There are a few ROMs based on the latest OxygenOS, and if I remember correctly, there is AEX with portrait mode working

I am really enjoying the latest version of Pie AEX above. Runs super smooth for me on my 2GB kenzo... though the phone needs to be restarted sometimes when performance starts to get laggy. After a restart, performance is amazing... for at least a few days.

I am currently using RR 6.2 Oreo Rom. How are the pie ROMs compared to Resurrection Remix Oreo in terms of battery and performance? Does Magisk and Kernel Auditor works ? Will I see a degradation in terms of anything if I switch to Havoc Pie ?
