Anytime you want to get cracking on that locked bootloader. I am sure all of the guys that got that half root in place would appreciate it.

It's only a matter of time.

But my point is; how else do you explain your lol after your half root statement? Those of use that have no skill have to assume after your insult of them, that you have the skills to break that locked boot loader. Otherwise you are just an insulting dumb ass that should just remain quite.

Insult? Dude this is a community. What I said was not insulting. I been part of xda for years. Maybe you need to look up on how to insult. Understand the meaning. Your point has no meaning cause I was deffinatly not insulting them. You need to understand how this community works instead of trying to assume and bash others.

My statement went along the lines of half a root meaning not full root and you're limited on things we can do. I'm sure there's others that will wait for full root as I will. Why I said it's a matter of time.

Why is this thread still open why make a thread just to post a link to the real root thread smh

to me it was your use of lol after your comment, if your intent was to state it is not a full boot loader root, why not say it that way? Again, nothing against you, I just took the lol as slap verses a note of caution that is not full root.

That is what assuming gets. Should have asked. Lol - lol means laughing or laughing out loud.

You also have to be a member at least a year to see it
Edit: Marketplace Changes - UPDATED MARCH 10
Starting tonight, we will be implementing the rules detailed in our previous announcement (below) with a few modifications:
1. You may sell 5 devices per month instead of 2 (each device must be in a new thread).
2. All current registered members will be able to use the marketplace regardless of tenure on the site or number of posts. New members will NOT be able to use the marketplace until they accrue 50 posts and one year of XDA membership.
--=-=-=-=-==-=-=--=-=-=-=-=
We allow people to buy and sell in our XDA Marketplace forum. We realize that this is a great service to many, as it enables trading and selling of devices so that our members can always try to have the latest and greatest mobile devices.
Historically, we have taken a hands-off approach to the Marketplace, as our primary focus was to keep the XDA forums clean to enable the best environment possible for development. To avoid scams, we installed a feedback system last year that made users accountable. But, that hasn't been enough.
Effective 10 March, we will be placing tight new restrictions on the Marketplace to further avoid dishonest conduct. The following will be in effect for anyone to post in both the Wanting to Buy and Wanting to Sell forums:
1. You must have 50 posts
2. You must be a member of XDA for at least one year
3. If you are selling, you must take a photo of the phone with XDA as a backdrop on your screen with your username showing
4. If you are selling, you may only sell two devices per month, and each listing must be contained with its own thread
Also remember that transactions shall not take place via PM and that anything other than vital information (member information such as address, etc) for payment and shipping purposes, should be stated within the thread.

Sorry if I have broken any rules. And if I did it was because I didn't know of the existence of this section and that you had to comply with the rules already stated. But let me add that I might just have 100+ post, a minuscule count compare to most here, but you can verify that most of them have been to try to help members in some way or another and in a respectful manner. I know that this is a great community but some members need to chill and take things less serious at times. So please go ahead an delete the thread if it's your ultimate decision. And thanks.
That rule should not apply to this guy because he has been a member since last year...

Nice to hear you're learning lots.
Just some friendly advice, please some time soon read the rules so you understand how and where to post and when to create threads, correct posting saves the moderators a lot of hard work and prevents you getting flamed.
Really you should have posted this in the general forum/general thread which is always welcoming apart from some grumpy old gits like me ....joking aside, if everyone plays their part the forum is much easier to use and find information on.
All the best....the moderators will probably lock this thread,, so read the rules and help them out

Tammyjustin I would suggest you read the page Daniel linked for you after hitting "Thanks" on his post if you have not done so already. Once you have read that, you need to read everything you can find on here concerning your device and if you have a question, search and research. I know there are several entries that describe roms that have been tested for your device. Flashing roms is time consuming. You need to know everything you can about the rom before you flash. It sometimes sucks to have to read 50 or 60 pages of comments that have nothing to do with your rom/problem but you are not the only one doing it. Good luck and have fun.
I actually have waited a month and read up on the last 3 phones I have had previously. ..This one I'm just trying to speed through cause I have 14 days to return it whereas the others I believe I had 30...I'm off now so I'll read up when I get home. .. Thanks

The "procedure" is a come-on to a paid service. Be open about this and just say you need to pay to get it done. It's quite obvious this is another way for someone to bypass XDA rules for linking to a paid service. As was said by a mod recently, if you put a donate link on that's another story. But this is not that in any way, shape or form.

If you say so. I should have just get my Pixel unlocked and start having fun flashing ROMs and root, leave the community blind in the dark instead of writing down everything I can. Shame that people only see this as a commercial purpose instead of digging out the tech part behind it.

Very community centric. It's a paid service and you've been called out. Prove it's not or admit it. If it's free and available to this community then I'll eat my words. Otherwise deleting the thread is your best post yet.

Advertising paid unlock services on XDA is against forum rules.
