I feel (and from what i read im not alone) that the camera software is a disaster. I cant get a single good picture. Most of em just end up terribly blurred
I mean, i hope its only a software thing and that can me fixed

Sorry , but my camera is too good both in quality and colour if you are facing any issues related to camera try factory data reset. Or, you can also try taking pictures in pro mode it comes in quite handy.

The fingerprint sensor being inaccurate is another area I see reviews criticising this phone and another area I beg to differ. It's all in the setup, whereby you need to move your finger around during setup to get maximum coverage. But then the setup instructions tell you that. I've yet to have a read fail.
I'm on 8.1, and the camera is extremely buggy. It firstly refuses to open and requires a reboot, then it freezes. Then it freezes again after taking a picture.
Same problem here but no solution, I hope someone help us
still need a lot of improvement

not that impressed by the camera software to be honest.
Its frustrating having to leave the viewfinder in order to change a setting.
The fact that HDR is kinda hidden is crazy IMO
Not to mention the slow Mo video is so difficult to get the object in the frame. They should have an option to select the frame we needed and also not limited the video to 10s.
ARCore 1.2 Support P20 Pro
Hi Guys,
ARCore 1.2 Finally supports all P20 Pro models. I'm not able to download apk from Play Store, so i did it using alternative apk mirror sites:

AI is not good at all.
The default EMUI camera software is very easy to use. The AI mode is kind of gimmicky as most camera features are. Everything else is very good.

No support for Video stabilization on Third party apps at all. Gcam, Open cam and a bunch of others, Image stabilization doesnt work on any of them when recording videos
There is noticeable frame drop issue while recording video from stock camera app. It happens mostly when device heats up under direct sunlight.

Elaborate?
Camera UI is good. No major issues. Just slight lag while switching from 48MP mode after taking a picture but that can be accounted for the image processing.
after clicking a photo/video... the preview button does not respond for 3-4 seconds... this happens everytime regardless the resolution

Camera quality is very bad
Can you elabaorate? I haven't had any issues with the quality, both in Auto and Manual mode. Yes, there's a bit of a pink-ish hue in the middle in low light but apart from that, I was able to take surprisingly nice photos with this phone. And for the camera app itself, it crashes after shooting a timelapse and you stop the post-processing but that's about it.
I also disagree. The camera is quite good. Especially when you take pictures at night. No function in manual mode has failed me.
Maybe a little bit of speed.
It's pure Android so everyone knows what to expect. Now version 10.
I like it very much, that is why i've bought it, have no complains.

Samsung's camera app is pretty good. There are lots of features available but it's easy to just point and shoot, and in most cases this gives good results. The 'best shot' feature advises where to point the camera for the best results in the current scene and what angle to use. It is basic but very clear and helpful, especially if you are giving it to someone else to snap a picture for you.
This phone also has the option to turn on the small front screen which lets the subject see a little of what you're seeing. Again, a bit of a gimmick but a nice touch.
I have nothing to add, your comment is ideal, thanks a lot!
