[Solved] Redmi 4 pro DEAD (apparently no reason) - Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime Questions & Answers

Yesterday I took off my Redmi 4 pro from my pocket and It didn't boot. It seems dead. I tryed to connect the phone to the charger and I tryed to do the key combinationation to enter in recovery mode but nothing happens...
Even the led doesn't turn on when I connect the charger.
What can I do?

My phone Dead in my pocket too, but only one time, i just pressed and holded Power button for 10/15 seconds.
If you already try this just open your phone and use test points method and install the stock 8.2.4 official FW with EDL mode

I don't know why but after 2 days trying to reboot the phone, it just managed to boot. Again with no reason Problem solved, I hope it wouldn't happen again... maybe the factory rom is bugged...

Man, it's modem bug. When you moving around your city device probably changing cell modes (2g, 3g/+, lte). So when it happens too much device just freezing itself.
Custom ROMs managing to reboot device in this case.
All you have to do is just to press power button for 15 sec or disable 2g at all (*#*#4636#*#*).

ooofff.. that sounds nasty.
You say the green LED is coming ON for a second when it's plugged into the pc.
Are all the ABD and/or flash drivers correctly installed?
I hope it's not a brick.

Yeah!! When i connect it in flash mode the LED stays for a second and then disappears. I did nothing that could possibly brick the phone!!! I just switched off my phone when i was about to start with my exam. After about 2 hours i switched it on and it didn't boot. And by the way when i press the power button a green LED blinks.
Try to take out the battery for a while and try to flash it again.
Another idea is to take out the battery, and while holding the back button on the phone and having the dialogue to put the phone in flash mode in flash tools, first put in the USB cable and then the battery.
Hey guys!!! My phone is back now. I just reflashed it. Thank u everyone for helping me out

Phone won't turn on, no charging indicator

Hey All,
I have bought a used leeco pro 3 off swappa. Unfortunately I didn't get the phone until much later after delivery (had to have someone bring it to me). In photos the phone works fine, but when I got it it won't turn on and there's no indicator that it's charging at all. When I do plug it in, the phone does get warm though.
Any thoughts what the problem could be?
Have you tried another USB-C cable? Apparently the stock OEM one sucks.

I have another leeco and I tried that charger still nothing. I've been reading and wondering if the battery drained. I'm going to leave it plugged in for awhile to see if anything changes. I plugged it directly into my laptop and it made that noise that it recognized something was plugged in but it didn't turn on or anything like that.

Hmm any ideas on what files I would need for the leeco pro 3? It indeed shows up as Qualcoom HS loader on my computer.

I'll keep trying but doesn't want to turn on. Interestingly though, when it's plugged into my laptop at least I can hear the phone being disconnected via USB when I hold the power button down. It just doesn't seem to boot up.
When you plug it does it show it charging.
You must push power and volume button at the same time.
Never buy from them.

This doesn't happen anymore, it seems. I charged to 100% a week ago (with leeco QC 3 charger) and it didn't turn off.

It actually happened just now. I charged from 38% to 95% I disconnected non-QC charger and went into AccuBattery app looked at the stats and the phone just shut down... Now I can't turn it on. Nothing happens.
I was on the latest AICP ROM
EDIT: I hold down the power button and connected the phone to PC, it turned on to LEECO screen and now red LED is blinking.

Any help?
Hello, I have very similar problem. My Leeco le pro 3 don't charge I try diffrend cables and chargers but when plug-in only orange diode start to blink. Do you have any other ideas what to try?
same problem here. LeEco shut down because of low battery. After plugging the charger in it, the LED only blinks red. Then it vibrates, turns off and starting into the charging mode without charging. Starting TWRP or dotOS is not possible because it shuts down.

Xiaomi redmi note 4 3 GB RAM/ 32GB ROM Global version Qualcomm BOOTLOOP

Hello,
I need some help with my phone xiaomi redmi note 4 3/32, since yesterday my phone isn't booting up. I was just scrolling facebook news and then my mobile phone shutdowned for no reason. Now when my phone has 0% battery the led diode is blinking (red color), after some minutes charging the phone it is rebooting multiple times and the red blinking diode disappear. Sometimes it boots into recovery mode, sometimes into fastboot mode, but immediately after 1-2 seconds it reboots again and i can't even wipe cache or something, same with fastboot, when my device boots into fastboot it immediately after 5 seconds get rebooted again. Yesterday my phone was doing this for about 8 hours (I let it charge, now I don't cuz it's annoying) . The phone doesn't have root or unlocked fastboot. 0 modifications.

Try Flashing via Flastboot. Or access battery and charge externally.

I have already tried, because I don't have unlocked bootloader it doesn't work. I can't flash stock rom via miflash, even EDL mode isn't working (fastboot oem edl command).
Try removing Battery and Charge it with external Charger and put back. Or Service center is only solution.

Mi A1 hard bricked !!!

Hello everyone,
My mi a1 is having serious issue it is not responding to anything No led blinking, Unable to enter into fastboot mode , tried getting into EDL mode via test points but no response and mobile is not showing any sign of life.
This condition is happened when i connected my A1 to a fast charger. There is no issue when charging via fast charger as the battery condition was not good. The problem is when the electricity is gone the mobile switches on and off and that’s what happen.
Note :- There is no hardware issue as i got it checked by mobile repairing center. He said that there is a software issue.
Please help me
Keep the phone for charging using the original charger for about half-to-one hours. Then boot it by pressing the Vol Down + Power key while keeping the charger connected. See if this makes any difference.

IMO, if it was a software issue, your phone might have shown some sign of life, like a vibration or the notification LED blinking when connected to the wall charger or to the PC via USB.

Here's what worked for me.
First open the back of your phone.
Second disconnect the battery cable.
Third start holding the power button.
Fourth connect the battery cable while holding the power button.
If you don't get it on your first try you'll have to try these steps again.

Yeah, I also saw a video to a more permanent solution but I haven't tried it so I don't really know
Hi Everyone, Just wanted to share the solution that we found out. My Friend had his Poco M3 Bricked, dead boot. No recovery, No display(totally black screen) and when I plug it in via USB it shows "
Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 "Been here about a month ago hoping that there is a solution. We tried the rubber band Method(See the attached image how to do it) you just need a cotton buds and a rubber band. Just place the tip of the cotton bud into the power button and secure it with rubber band 2 knots. So it's pressing the power button that way it's draining the battery it took him 2 days to drain it, But once the battery is drained the Charging Icon will display in the screen. And you can charge it and wait for it to boot up. This worked for my Xiaomi Redmi 9T and my Friend Poco M3 bot uses MIUI 12. After it boot again try to Avoid restarting it and Shutting it down so this may never happen Again.

Noice!
Would try that later if my m3 goes rogue again and Im too lazy to open the backcase. Its been almost half a month that I kept my phone running and I just found out that my flashlight suddenly wont work and my themes keep reverting to the standard out of the box theme.Maybe it I should restart it to fix this as I have been through it on my old Xiaomi MiA1,same flashlight gone error after a long time usage without once restarting it.
Thanks for sharing this method!
