Samsung J120W FRP fix
I had the same issue. I fixed with odin and a download of the phones stock firm ware. I put the firmware .tar in the CSC section in Odin

i'm having issues with bypassing... does the odin method still work? could swear i tried it... what version rom should i download?

Any luck?
I'm dealing with the same scenario. I've researched a bit and found many instructions impossible to execute.
Plenty of the methods that are supposed to work seem contorted and overly complicated.
I'm scratching my head, wondering why it isn't a straightforward process involving flashing from download mode.
It's just gotta be that simple. As it is the unit I'm dealing with won't recognize from adb, so I'm limited.
IMO the info pointing to a solution is somewhere in a sea of malware and ad-laden apps and sites, now that having a custom ROM is more commonplace with the non-programmer end-user.

You can use Miracle Box. It can bypass FRP but if you want use this program, you must have a Miracle Box dongle.

yes odin method does still work but dont forget you need to do each step in the correct order and if it doesn't work and you try again you must CLOSE odin, unplug the phone then re-start odin and do the steps again

as for what version you need to download that would depend on your carrier - that said - i downloaded and flashed the one for rogers canada and it worked even though im with chatr so the carrier may not matter so much? here are a couple of the canadian versions you can look for
Canada rogers - J120WVLU1APC8 - RWC
Canada Sasktel - J120WVLU1APC8 - BWA
Canada Telus - J120WVLU1APC8 - TLS

help
i have this same problem if anyone can help me i would really appreciate it i have a samsung j120w with chatr so i believe its the telus firmware i need
found a couple threads and thanks to this site i am confident i will be able to unlock this device using odin or twrp or a combination of the two im not sure i will follow the instructions and repost here i see the key to skipping the frp is On your phone, Open Settings > Developer options > Enable OEM unlock and Enable USB debugging.
hopefully this will go smooth thanks to all of you
i cannot access the phones menus as it is stuck at the 'enter your previous email screen'
cannot access the phones internal memory so i cannot put twrp on there. in recovery mode it wont access the sd card i tried placing it there as well. sending it with adb gets a blocked custom binary by frp lock error.
any help would be appreciated i spent 7 hours on this last night and got nowhere

I think the easiest way is to enable Settings >Developer Options > Enable the option OEM Unlock. This will allow the device to be OEM unlocked.
How to enable Developer Options:
Got to Settings > About Device > Software Info > and tap on Build Number 5 times, it unlocks the Developers options..

i am stuck at the google frp lock i cannot get into the phone any other suggestions?

Can we resurrect this coffin or should I start another thread?
I need to bypass FRP. Not familiar with android whatsoever but was able to fumble through ODIN flashes unsuccessfully. (Got PASS but FRP is still there).

Note 4 SM-N910F Samsung Reactivation Lock Activated - locked accidentally by Samsung?

Hi guys,
I got my Note 4 SM-N910F and installed latest update ROM from sammobile.com, respectively I've upgraded it from 4.4.4 to 5.1.1.
After reboot, I got the following message when restarted:
"This device is locked because of an abnormal factory reset. Sign in to the Samsung account that you have already signed in to on this device to confirm that it belongs to you."
Shortly: Samsung Reactivation Lock Activated
I've tried my Samsung account, on the web it logs in successfully, on my phone it doesn't let me login.
What should I do?
(phone is never locked, bought from Cosmote Romania, now Telekom Romania)
Thanks.
Samsung Reactivation Lock Activated - [ SOLVED ]
Hi guys,
I've succesfully deactivated the Samsung Reactivation Lock on my Samsung Note 4 SM-N910F - Android Lollipop 5.1.1. !!!
I'll tell you in detail how I did it. After 5 hours of data mining and documenting myself, I've gathered all the necessary data to do it.
Statement: On Samsung Note 4 with Lollipop 5.1.1, the Samsung Reactivation Lock cannot be deactivated!
In order to do that you need to downgrade it to KitKat 4.4.4. (thanks to brayhanrd for coming up with this downgrade-first idea in this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/help/reactivation-lock-root-custom-rom-t3097964#post60511431
It can be done following these simple steps:
1) Downgrade the Samsung Note 4 software version from Lollipop 5.1.1 to KitKat 4.4.4 - using the stock 4.4.4 version specifically designed for your phone which can be downloaded from www.sammobile.com.
(Obs: if it was purchased from Verizon then THAT's the version you need to get it. I'm telling you this to avoid a lot of downgrade failures because of mismatch files and Odin writing errors, believe me, I read a lot about it today! )
- Downgrading from Lollipop to KitKat instructions and all the necesarry files to do it (e.g. Odin) can be found here: http://www.androidexplained.com/galaxy-note-4-how-to-downgrade-to-android-4-4-4-kitkat/ (thanks to Doug for documenting this )
If downgrade was successful, it should look like this: http://screencast.com/t/S9ONzxqPvaG
2) A work around to be able to turn off (deactivate) the Samsung Reactivation Lock can be found on this YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U23TdbqJehA
- Long story short, the video emphasize what you need to do to get into the phone's Samsung Account, trick the already locked account and re-register yourself with a new (yet existing) Samsung account, which later on, will be seen by Samsung as the phone's default account, thus allowing yourself to register with it. What this guy's doing, basically is using the Text to Speech Samsung update to get logged in to the Samsung Galaxy Apps with this new Samsung account he created (or already had). From there, he gets back to the first phone setup steps and use this Samsung account which will be recognized by Samsung Reactivation Lock as being the default account (because he already signed-in with it into the Samsung Galaxy Apps) and voila, passed the protection.
3) Turn off the Samsung Reactivation Lock: After you tricked the Samsung Lock screen and passed over it reaching the classic, well known home screen, go to -> Settings -> Security -> and find the "Reactivation Lock" option and UNCHECK it! It will ask again for your Samsung account password, insert it and - ONLY THEN - you will have turned off the Samsung Reactivation Lock.
4) Upgrade back to Lollipop 5.1.1: same instructions here, first, upgrade only with stock image made specifically for your Note 4 version, to ba taken from www.sammobile.com or any other respectable place.
If upgrade was successful, it should look like this: http://screencast.com/t/U0BgITnrMmzi
Voila! you have a fully functional Note 4 phone again!
I hope this post will help you spare those 5 hours I used for reseaching these things!

Not possible to downgrade 5.1.1 to 4.4.4
Funny you say you downgraded from 5.1.1 to 4.4.4 because everywhere I've read the consensus is the new bootloader makes this impossible.
Re: http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4-sprint/help/downgrading-5-1-1-t3206848/post62923032
"If you upgraded your boot loader past OB7 (OE1, OF5 or OG5) You can no longer downgrade."
I tried your intructions anyway with the proper stock rom for my SM-N910P with 5.1.1 (OG5) and no dice. Odin failed right away.
Thanks anyway!

You need to download a stock version of 4.4.4. specifically made for your phone version, model and mobile operator.
maybe for the sm-n910f but not the sm-n910p
I greatly appreciated your response, I spent almost the entire day yesterday working on this with no success.
Just so you know, I did in fact download the stock rom made specifically for my sm-910p, here:
http://androidromupdate.com/sprint-galaxy-note-4-sm-n910p-stock-firmware/
I'm on N910PVPU4COG5 now which is Lolipop 5.1.1 now.
I tried downgrading to N910PVPU1ANK2 Kitkat 4.4.4 and no go.
That is definitely the stock firmware for my device.
I did a factory reset & wiped cache first, then tried flashing with odin and after a successful md5 check it failed.
Not sure but maybe because you had the international version the bootloader is different?
But again, I'm sure it didn't work at that seems to be the consensus everywhere else too. that once you go above OB7 there's no going back on the N910P.

I would suggest to not give up just yet.
Verify the following:
a) From the page you gave me http://androidromupdate.com/sprint-galaxy-note-4-sm-n910p-stock-firmware/ - I know it sais there It cannot be done, just ignore that - did you installed the Drivers on your computer before you plugged in your phone?
b) Did you tried both 4.4.4. versions available?
c) Did you tried multiple times to flash it? As it opten happens to crash 1,2,3 time until you get it done right. (in between the flashes, try reconnecting the phone to the computer and restarting it).
Try Try Try Again...
Thanks for your advice. I would like to downgrade and so haven't given up just yet; you gave me hope (even a shot in the dark)!

A: Yes, I have installed the drivers on my computer and successfully flashed with odin before and my com port is detected, everything is working on that end. However, I read today someone said they could only use odin 3.10 to flash without it failing so I will try that too.
b) Did you tried both 4.4.4. versions available?
A: No, I'm going to try the older version of KitKat 4.4.4 next, N910PVPU1ANIE
c) Did you tried multiple times to flash it? As it opten happens to crash 1,2,3 time until you get it done right. (in between the flashes, try reconnecting the phone to the computer and restarting it).
A: OK, I will try this and report back.

Samsung Reactivation Bypass Alternative
Hi all,
This is my first posting and reply to a thread. Hope all is doing well.
After many many many attempts to either bypass or deactivate Knox's reactivation lock.. I was finally successful. I"m sure you can imagine how i was jumping up and down..
Any who, here's how i did it:
What you need:
1- An OTG Cable
2- A USB flash drive
3- Samsung Google bypass
First thing I did was factory reset my Verizon Note 4 from the recovery mode.
If you have another android phone available, that would be useful. Take the OTG cable plus it into the extra android phone and plug in your USB flash drive. It will either pop up or ask you to reformat the drive. You want to make sure that the USB flash drive is compatible with android devices. If you don't have an extra phone, reformat your USB flash drive using CMD (format Fat32.)
After that's completed, plug your flash drive into your laptop/desktop and drag the file you downloaded (Samsung google bypass) to your flash drive.
IF YOU CAN'T BEAT THEM, JOIN THEM!
Power on your android phone, after it turns on, plug your OTG cable into your phone and attach your USB flash drive. Wait a few seconds so your phone can recognize the new hardware. A folder from the flash drive should pop. Now run the Samsung Google Bypass file. This will take you to the settings on the phone. Connect to your WiFi.
Click on the Security tab and check "Unknown Sources" and then click ok.
In the same tab> Click on where is says "Go to website". That will open a browser. If for any reason you don't have that option in that tab, in the settings options, click on "Accounts" and add your gmail account to the phone. Go back to the settings options and click on your Google account. We need to get this to the browser.
After clicking on your account, scroll down to where is says "Smart Lock for passwords", go ahead an open that up.
You will see "Google Account" - Click on it. That should take you to a browser.
(If for any reason with those option don't take you to a browser, search the settings section to find a way. THERE IS ALWAYS A WAY)
Now we are almost done!
Download Aptoide> It will ask you all the prompts to install> after its done, click on open.
Download Knox> it will ask you to upgrade> go ahead and upgrade it> after thats done, open up the knox app and create a new account. This will now save to your phone.
You can unplug the OTG cable and restart your phone. But before doing so, make sure that account is was successfully created.
You will go back to set up wizard. Go ahead and set up your phone. You should not have any problems now.
Hope this works for you as it did for me.

Possible to enable OEM Lock via ODIN or ADB ?
Everything is blocked by FRP Lock
######
Hi all,
Regarding s6 edge plus, I have a SM-G928I, is it possible to enable usb debugging without going into developer options ? A friend bought a second hand phone and its locked to an account unfortunately, and ODIN wont connect so ican root/reflash due to im assuming the usb debugging not being enabled.
I'm trying to save him some money by paying a repair shop >.< any tips?
Thanks
Anyone?
They sure are nice phones, the screen real estate vs my HTC one m9 is certainly noticeable
Did you install Samsung USB drivers and plugged phone in download mode? Can try also going to recovery and performing factory reset
Have installed samsung drivers, i can see the phone on the PC as a drive to load data to, but odin doesn't see it.
Factory reset seems to still have the account linked, a security feature of 5.1 i'm sure.
I'm getting a copy of the stock rom from sammobile
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-G928I/
fingers crossed i can use this and it recognises it if i just replace the stock file
can it be forced via adb?
Okay so turns out i'm thinking of the wrong thing. USB Debug works., great can interface via ODIN and ADB.
Is it possible to enable "OEM Unlock' via command line interface of adb, or ODIN ? without access to the OS this is making life hard
Flash stock firmware. You need to flash stock firmware to access the OS and then enable OEM Unlock. There is no other way. You cannot charge it even without enabling it.
AFTER ROOTING MAKE SURE NOT TO DISABLE OEM UNLOCK.
I tried that, flashed stock firmware from sammob but it still wants the sellers Gmail account has he bought a brick?
Do a factory reset after ODIN flash. Flash TWRP, access recovery, format system, cache and data (including internal) and then check.
thanks, will update soon
Stock firmware flash works
Factory reset / cache clear works
Flashing TWRP fails due to FRP lock , due to the OEM Unlock not being enabled im assuming
"Custom Binary(RECOVERY) Blocked by FRP Lock"
I'm sorry but I think you are locked out of the phone.
It certainly seems that way. its always frustrating as a geek to be defeated

Hi, I've bought a phone with same condition.
Have you solved the problem?
Sure have, I obtained a file which allows you into the settings from the Google lock screen which allows you to enable OEM unlock. Due to the legalities though I'm not sure it's allowed to share this here though
can you please post/send me this file ? and instructions, i assume you flash it via Odin/adb

4) allow KIES to download the firmware
5) place phone in ODIN mode/Emergency Download Mode (hold VOL DWN and HOME while powering on ) then plug in phone to computer via USB
6) allow KIES to send image to phone. Have some ice cream and egg rolls and do not touch anything.
7) PROFIT! After the phone restarts, it will take you through initial set up (like when you bought it)

This what worked for me. Try this at your own risk .
I tried the stock rom listed here through Odin and I was not able to get back into my device because of the
FRP Lock. FRP Lock Binary Message , would not let any of the roms boot onto my device from Odin and I tried a lot of different solutions. This is the only thing that worked for me .
I downloaded Kies 3.
I installed it .
I put my device into download mode ( I did not connect it yet )
Kies wil tell you that your device is not compatible with the software .
Knowing that Tmobile software would be close enough I decided to give this a try. (Some people have bricked their phones trying to run t-mobile software through odin, this is running through kies is different, it worked for me.)
In Kies I then went to where it said Tools,
I selected the option that says "Firmware Upgrade and Initialization.
Its going to ask you for the model number and the serial number.
I won't go into details of how I got it but use the MN: SM-G530T1 - Serial Number: R28GA0EJ6FZ
Its a public serial number
Then from there it ask you to hook up your device,
Once you hook up your device you can continue with the install.
Make sure that you are taking the battery all the way out before putting the device in download mode. In my opinion this may be the best way to make sure it works.
Please let me know if this works for anyone. Thank all of you that helped me and gave me advice to get my phone restored . I hope that this helps everyone who has this issue.
One things for sure . This will make me never want to buy a metro device again especially if there devices aren't supported by samsung.
I'll try my best to answer any questions anyone might have. I'm really hoping that this will help all who have that nasty FRP LOCK

I setup my brothers phone with Kingroot like 2 weeks ago, then randomly yesterday this crap happens. This security feature is ridiculous. A warning, I can understand but this thing is borked.
Using the stock cable and connecting it to the laptop at the error screen, as well as at the bootloader. In both instances, the phone started charging, but wasn't detected by the PC.
Having the same issue. ..

I'm having he same issue with my phone but in addition, kies will not allow me to use the S/N that is on the phone. I also tried using the one you have listed and that didn't work either. I'm kinda stuck at this point.

The prog keeps saying the s/n isn't correct. Not sure what to do now. .
I did the same thing and everything works fine EXCEPT multimedia messages. From there as far as I've learned its just trial and error with access point names. Which in the grand scheme of things isn't that bad considering the run around I had to go thru before I found xda forums. Metro told me to file a claim and get a new phone, insurance provider said no and sent me to Samsung, Samsung said no sent me best buy, best buy was going to follow directions noted above except the serial number for the firmware was 1 digit off (I'm assuming they were skeptical about flashing tmobile firmware which I understand but they let me figure that one out on my own). Thank you XDA.
Sooo...how many and which ports have you tried on your PCs? Sammys are finnacky sometimes with USB ports. On my PC, only 1 port will detect ANY Samsung devices in Download Mode but the others work fine with every other device. Try all your ports, preferably USB 2.0 and on the back of your computer. Ones on the front don't usually have enough power for anything other than file transfers.
Just a suggestion from experience
So I bought my son a Galaxy Grand Prime and he said that he was playing some racing game on the phone. He then put the phone on the charger and now there is a message that says Custom Binary Block by FRP. I tried downloading Kies 3 but it is not allowing me to do anything with the phone. Nothing happened so I don't know if I did it correctly. I also took the phone to Samsung and they basically said that the phone is no good. like I am not understanding why this can't be fixed even by Samsung. Some one please help!!!
I do that but it says the S/N its incorrect when its not
Yeah, the kies repair works. You may have to try it a couple times. Just check out this video. Nothing will happen. When you connect your phone to PC until you put it in download mode

Samsung SM-T580 FRP Lock

Hi everyone !
I'm actually working in an IT centre (Don't know how to call that, or to traduce to you), and I just got a customer who handed me a Samsung SM-T580 tablet who is FRP locked... I've been searching since 3 days now, trying various methods, even trying a downgrade to other versions, but no luck. I've searched on XDA to see if anyone has got the same problem, but everyone has a different build number, as mine is T580XXU2AQA2. I've seen that if the 3 finals letters/number are PG1, I'm in luck, but if they're PL4, I'm unlucky. But what about QA2 ? And what about the FRP Lock on this build ?
Thanks for help, as I begin to lose hope...

Before attempting to flash ANY ROM on a T580, you have to enable "OEM unlock" in the /Setup/Developer options. If you don't, the way to unbrick the tablet is by using the Samsung Smart Switch app via a PC.

I can't do anything as I had the tablet already locked :/ I can just access the recovery and the download mode (As well as the normal boot, but it is pointless here).
I already flashed a stock ROM via Odin, and it worked fine as it was the same version in the tablet

This one works with the latest build from PL4 to QC2 ( P= 2016, Q= 2017 ) , Android 6 ; not work with Android 7
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xo9uJDDuSxw
Try it, if you can get the Assist then it will work as you can open Chrome to download Google Account Manager to add you own Google account and do the factory reset or just keep it as you are the owner now, taking full control of the tablet.

If you can go to Setting and enable the OEM Unlock, you're not FRP lock and in owner account.
FRP ( Factory Reset Protection ) is a secured method from Google prevents anyone to continue in the settings without passing the verified account steps.
Without the previous synced account ID and password, it will keep you in a loop in the setting steps.

Obviously it is to late for the OP to change to "OEM enable" setting. I was merely pointing out the cause of the problem. But it also seemed apparent that the Google account settings are unknown.
I bought a tablet on eBay that had this problem and was able to get it working using Samsung Smart Switch run from a PC connected to the tablet in the download mode.

You see this message because you're still at first page of sign in. Reset it: Power + Volume Up + Home you should get to the Recovery and do a Factory Data Reset.
If you already have original owner information, you shouldn't have any problem of setting the tablet at the step of verifying google account.
I have done FRP bypass on the SM-T580 at least 10 tablets a day, so I can say FRP of Google is a joke. I have to deal with FRP lock everyday and I only need 10 minutes to bypass it.
[EDIT] Damned font I misread FRP for FAP
Posted elsewhere, but as I'm getting rather anxious and as I'm waiting for DBT-T580XXU2BQE4-20170525170357.zip to download... I ended up with a FAP lock. I can't find out if there's any difference from FRP lock - is there any?
Also, about Smart Switch, do the instructions from https://www.sammobile.com/forum/showthread.php?t=34745 apply? Smart Switch tells me that the device is unsupported and I don't get the Device Initialization tab!
Thanks!
[EDIT2] FW downloaded. Tried to use Odin, but there are four options: BL/AP/CP/CSC. Yet the FW package has these entries:
AP_T580XXU2BQE4_CL11316739_QB13491827_REV00_user_low_ship_meta.tar.md5
BL_T580XXU2BQE4_CL11316739_QB13491827_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5
CSC_OXA_T580OXA2BQE4_CL11316739_QB13491827_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5
HOME_CSC_OXA_T580OXA2BQE4_CL11316739_QB13491827_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5
So which one is CP?
You only need to load BL, AP, and CSC, ignore the HOME_CSC, but it seems you're flashing the Android 7 build from Germany which no method works.
You need to downgrade to Android 6, region doesn't matter for the purpose of bypass FRP. When it's done, flash back to your original region in Android 7.
Cellular South PL4 is the build you can downgrade and bypass FRP.

First of all, thank you for your reply indeed.
Yes, I guess it was from Germany since German was its language when it first booted and it was 7.0.
So I'm downloading XAR-T580UEU2APL4-20170407113933.zip (Cellular South PL4) and flashing it with Odin, but once it's done, how do I flash 7 again? Use Odin with the initial BL/AP/CSC that I got?
Again, thank you!
[EDIT] Oh yeah, 6.0 flashed successfully and I'm off FRP lock!!!! Thanks so much... Now I guess I turn on OEM enable in Dev options and flash BL/AP/CSC in Odin?
No need to flash back if you want to keep current US build if it has your prefer language.
However, it's now US tablet, it only update the latest one from US build.
No need to turn on OEM unlock if you know your own Google ID and password.
If you like, flash the Europe build as it has more languages than US one, the same way as you downgrade firmware: load BL, AP, and CSC to Odin.
You're right. I was asking because I thought I'd have lost OTA, which was not the case - device updated OTA to 7.0 so I then proceeded and rooted it again. *Now* OTA is dead, but I'm good.
I was thinking, probably, than on Samsung devices tripping Knox would disable OTA.
Thanks for your reply once more
Tripping Knox doesn’t disable OTA but if the status of firmware is Custom, you won’t be able to update software. I have some tablets which have Knox count more than 1, they update normally because I run stock firmware

Yup! I'm learning by doing
I guess that having an official FW but custom recovery equals to Custom, correct? Which means if I reflash original OTA will be back?
In the setting, About Tablet, Status, if the device status is Official, you have no problem of update via OTA.
Or in Download Mode, if the System Status is Official. I believe your system is Custom if having custom recovery.
Rooted device will become Official if you flash back the stock firmware , however the Knox counting is not rolling back to zero.
Yup, I did know about Knox (that would defeat the purpose, right? ).
If I'm not mistaken flashing original FW will erase data, no? So I'll save it for when there's a decent Oreo ROM out there. Then again, it won't be Original even then so I guess I'm off that road, but I don't think Samsung will be releasing any new OTAs any time soon so there's no meaning in it, surely?

[Help] Samsung S8 (SM-G950W) bypass FRP?

Hi,
I did a search here for anything to do with (SM-G950W) and saw 10 threads about this model but I am unable to find a thread that has a solution to my problem. I have read posts about using Odin v3.12.7 and putting the phone into download mode then flash the PDA (now called AP) with a combination .MD5 file that is compatible for (SM-G950W). I tried flashing with a stock AP, one from a stock SM-G950U and several others that I have found from Google search and all I get from Odin is "SW REV CHECK FAIL : [abl]Fused 2 > Binary 1". I made sure I had the latest version (as of writing this post) of the Samsung USB Driver with version 1.5.63.0 so does anyone know how I can bypass the FRP (factory reset protection)? I see lots of Youtube videos about using a bluetooth device and calling emergency but I will avoid this method. I should also mention that the "download" screen does show FRP lock enabled if that matters (is this KNOX?).
I am trying to help my friend fix this problem because he locked himself out of his phone so I am out of ideas and for whatever reason he does not remember the last Google account that was synced with his phone. We tried all the emails that "he" thinks it is and when we put in his cell phone # the recovery said it will send us the verification code but it fails.
Any help would be appreciated and thanks to those who replied.
EDIT:
I got Odin to flash the phone now. I had to use Canada (Rogers), version 7.0, PDA - (G950WVLU2AQK7), CSC - (G950WOYA2AQK7), date 2017-12-10 from SamMobile website. I wanted to flash the XAC version to remove Rogers branding but I kept getting the "SW REV CHECK FAIL : [abl]Fused 2 > Binary 1" error. Anyway, the phone rebooted back to FRP (factory reset protection) screen to enter a Google account. So back to square one unless someone knows which file I need to flash in order to bypass or unlock FRP.
Thanks,

First off, thank you for being helpful. I even invited myself to the telegram group "Galaxy S8/S8+ (XDA Group)" to ask for help there too and some people was not as helpful by telling us that it would be impossible to forget the login. Seriously, I could have laughed at my friend and call him dumb but I didn't because he came to me for help. I searched and read so many forums and downloaded so many different files from legal websites to understand what to do but I couldn't get it resolved.
I will try the "chimera" tool that you suggested and if that doesn't work then we will just give up and bring the phone to a repair shop. I spoke to someone at Google today who said gmail password resets may take up to 24 hours for the phone to recognize. So we will try again with the 3 gmail accounts that we think was synced with the phone tomorrow because the passwords was just reset today however the representative said Samsung might be able to help so he transferred us to the Samsung in the U.S. (by mistake?) and the girl from Samsung transferred us to Samsung Canada. What a run around; anyway the last person said we may need to bring it to a repair shop. The person asked us for our postal code and gave us a few shops in our area.
Crossing our fingers that the "chimera" tool works otherwise we're probably looking at $50-$60 CAD for the phone repair shop to fix this issue.
Thanks again!

So I installed chimera and it doesn't list SM-G950W as an available model to reset the FRP. Do I need an update or do I need to buy something to get more supported models? Also I looked at "http://www.techoxygen.com/samsung-fr...frp-lock-free/" and downloaded the "Octoplus Samsung Tool" the download file came with a trojan virus which got removed by antivirus program. Now when I try to open the Octoplus tool it is saying that the "Card is not found". What does that mean? Sorry I never done this before so I am not familiar with these terms.

Thanks for your help. We tried watching the videos but our Samsung S8 does not have a home button. Anyway, we decided to go to a local phone repair shop and they charged us $80 to reset the lock. We had to wait a bit because the Samsung server was down but at least we got our phone working again.
Also if anyone is wondering about the chimera tool and support for Samsung S8 this is the response I got from their support team:
Dear User,
Yes, currently it is not supported. The FRP reset is not added for the S8 models.Of course we will add it, in the near future. When? right now i can not tell you exact date, but i am sure that we can handle it soon.

Right on at least you got it going again. I just kinda assumed chimera tool supported that cause I've been using it for years on my other galaxy phones and was unlocking a whole bunch of other phones for $10 a pop.
I have same problem with my sm-g950w and don't want to pay 80$ at phone repair shop
hopefully if I wait a little, more option will become available for the frp reset
if anyone has any more options, please let me know

Use a tool like chimera tool you'll be able to get past that no problem. Should be able to anyway. 99% of people on these forums will automatically brand you a thief because nobody here apparently forgets their login account info and are otherwise perfect citizens

It's not that everyone thinks that, it's that there is no way to tell from a forum post, and rather than risk making xda complicit in a felony it's safer and fairer to just not answer any of them on the board where there is an official record. Just wait until some judge subpones all of xdas servers because they hold official records in an ongoing criminal case

Hi,
I did a search here for anything to do with (SM-G950W) and saw 10 threads about this model but I am unable to find a thread that has a solution to my problem.
Thanks,

Ok trying to help here, if you already flashed the phone with version 7 its means will get easy to bypass the G account, just there are a lot of videos on you tube but the easiest one is in spanish.. (freedom phone) the name of the you tuber, if not there are more in english..
Android 7 allow you to update the keyboard which is necessary in order to complete the task, it will take just 10 minutes I did one T mobile but it will work with the canadian one as long as the phone has the version 7.. btw i am downloading the rogers firmware to flash my canadian one.. thanks for the tip..
XDA never encourages this "fishy" applications for some really really desperate people that needs help.
Samsung repair centre can fix your FRP Locked phone. Just present your Proof of purchase/receipt/ warranty card and of course your phone
So you can use your phone again.
FRP security is implemented to prevent unauthorized access on your phone.
So make sure you don't forget your main google account logged in on your phone.
It is really recommended that you have "MULTIPLE WAYS" of retrieving your Google account
Make sure your G Account has
(
1. phone number
2. recovery email
3. provided security
4. Q&A
5. Google recovery page ( you need to answer personal info/identity you can remember)
)

If this helps you i have the SM-G950W (G950WVLS3BRE1) and i made it work by flashing the COMBINATION_FA70_G950USQU3ARD1 first then i flashed the firmware 4 file G950USQU3CRD4 using BL+AP+CP+HOME_CSC+USERDATA and it worked beautifully. Maybe it will help your issue.
Flashing SMG950W
Hi,
I am new to this forum and need some help please.
I have a Samsung S8 (G950WVLU5BRG4) with Android Version 8.0. The phone is unlocked and from Rogers in Canada but has a Google FRP.
Although I followed the step by step instructions with the combination file and so on Odin keeps showing me an error and is unable to bypass the Google account lock. The error message I am getting within log of the combination file is:
FAIL! (Auth)
Complete (Write) operation failed
All threads completed. (succeed 0/ failed 1)
Any idea of how to solve this problem? I am sure it got solved already by someone in the forum but I can't find the right entry.
