I just joined the forum and glad to be here.
I have been getting the run around from LG and ATT about why my phone wont update.
I have 7.0 and the last patch update was December 2016. i have talked to LG and ATT and they both point the finger at one another
and I am at wits end!

I check every day to see if a new update is there but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I know with my past BlackBerrys you could load leaks and you had the latest OS which was great.
Is this possible with the V20 or am I just screwed??

I found a video on youtube showing a similar update, but it is in Spanish and do not really understand all the instructions for installation.

Also I had rooted my s7 edge a couple months back, but unrooted because it was acting unstable and i was not being able to install xposed

It's Android 7.0 with the March 1, 2017 security patch. The build # is NPN25.137-43-5.
The 83 build has the Aug. Patch. It is a newer update
Hello! My Galaxy s8 can't seem to find any updates on my device even though it is not the latest version.
Software screen says: Latest update installed. Current version: G950FXXU1AQDD/G950FNZC1AQDD/G950FXXU1AQC8

I'm from Europe/Romania and using Orange carrier. I bought it from someone who said the phone is from the UK which is true.
I did a factory restore when I got it and the phone is not rooted and unlocked.
Should I flash a new version? If so which one? I've never done this before so I'm really cautious.
same here i live in algeria can't receive oreo update , i'm thinking of flashing my s8 to the french firmware but i'm scared of breaking it
The samsungmobile.com link shows OTA availability for a CSC of DBT, which is German according to other XDA threads, not Romanian. Update availability is based on CSC, are you sure that your CSC is DBT?

I would try updating manualy to Oreo latest and then updating it to PIE
Just update from odin with home_csc to keep the data. But if you update from 7.0 to another android version, i recomend a clean install.
