First download the ZIP file from google drive, then once download extract the file which gives us individual zip files and then extract each one of those until we get the .md5 files correct ?
EDIT: did that and started to apply all files to ODIN now. hopefully everything flashes correctly.

Follow my above quoted post and then odin will recognize the files since after you extract the downloaded files each individual file is still a .rar file (zip). After you extract them you will find the .md5 file which odin recognizes.

@norbarb I flashed this through odin and the phone is still stuck on Verizon. I have Verizon boot up and Verizon apps etc..
Funny thing is now I have a "AT&T Smart Wi-Fi app".
Baseband shows AQG1
Build number shows AQG1
Android security patch level July 1, 2017
I guess I will have to be stuck on the Verizon stuff..
Thanks though for trying though in helping making this phone from Verizon to AT&T.

Wouldn't you have to flash "Home CSC" first if coming from a different service provider in order to force a change? Also what update does their phone have, you can't down grade?

Yes but what is the last 3 letters of your build (firmware) on the phone. It will need to match or be a earlier build otherwise the boot-loader will not allow it to load.

It will. You can load any earlier firmware. Bootloader is not change yet. On all G955U is version 1. So you can even flash C9 firmware and phone will allowed.
G955USQS1AQG1 in Samsung firmware bootloader is fifth number from end.

If i already have the latest version of firmware will the phone accept an older version (downgrade) ?
edit : found C9... I am going to try C9 firmware this weekend hopefully that helps.
Right now i cant figure out how to make my MMS to work .

update: I tried C9
1st: i tried the Home CSC file and ODIN stated it pass but the phone said otherwise. I failed to boot up at first then it said error in recovery
Then it booted up but kept giving all types of FC's. Mean while the verizon bootup and apps where still there.
2nd: I tried CSC file and everything booted and is working fine. Data works and my download speed is so so but my upload speeds is double the speed of download. LOL
MMS works. Still have all the Verizon crap. phone somehow seems snappier than on AQG1 firmware.
Im debating on just installing original verizon firmware or keeping this version of the AT&T firmware. If it works then why try to fix it.
thanks for the help either way.

Do it again but this time flash the "Home CSC" first and then all the others including regular CSC files. Flash right on top of what you have now.

You mean flash all files again but home CSC first then reflash again and use regular CSC file ?
Also you are saying reflash the C9 firmware right ?

Any improvements in this one? Is it worth flashing?
wait i'm confuse between this ,kies method, 138 MB tmobile OTA (i'm rooted so no go ) update and the 1.6GB firmware on sammobile . I'm running rooted ANJ7 baseband version so which path should i take to upgrade ? which of these do i get to keep my data and phone setting ?
If you flash the smaller file OP posted you will not lose your files. If you flash the full 1.6 GB version, it will essentially put your phone back to stock, wiping all your data in the process. Which is good if you want a clean start, but not so much if you only want to update your baseband and modem (and firmware). Personally, I flash the full 1.6 version for a clean start when an update is released, then restore my apps with Titanium backup. But it's up to you, honestly.
Flashed using Mobile Odin.

ur bootloader also using Odin v3.09,

Very cool.
I may go ahead and flash the bootloader.
Hadn't yet cause on the tmobile s4 it was important to never update the bootloader.
Mine still doesn't have knox.

I always update my modem/baseband.
Samsung/tmobile are trying to make reception better with each release, and all.
I've also heard people say if it ain't broke don't fix it.
Knowing how to update your modem/baseband without updating your bootloader is a good skill either way.

Is there any reason you need NK2 in particular? My thread has NE2 and OC1 listed, I know at least OC1 is a newer build, so if anything, you'd be updating/upgrading your firmware. It's the same model number and region, so there wouldn't be any reason for it to malfunction...

you mind explaining what you did?
so you used the combination file g950u with odin, then flashed firmware g950w?
could you please be more specific how you did that, for people with same issue like me, and never did it before?
thank you

I don't know what to do, what files to use and everything, what settings
is it too complicated for you to give more details

youll be on the latest BQL1 and then youll be a 950U

my problem is that I have a g950w and there is no combination file for that
I tried with the g950u combo file but so far it didn't work in odin
I followed the steps from this vid on youtube
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9qcBBQ4rwis&list=LLSNQkcO6M3sNXEwHIWXkEoA&index=20&t=311s
I don't know how you converted your 950w to 950u
I tried with the 950u combo file in odin but doesn't work
after I press start, says "All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)"
*nevermind, it worked after few tries, now it's the firmware that doesn't work
ok, then I tried a 950u firmware, it worked in odin, but then it said that device storage is corrupt
and had to reset
can someone help
Help me please

hi, you can help me
the drive link doesnt work anymore
plz help a fellow vancouverite here

What are all the 5 different firmware files for and how do I use them to get STOCK!

I want to get as close as possible to stock firmware. Literally as if I bought it.
I have the following files:
AP_G950FXXU1AQK7_CL12502673_QB15780950_REV00_user_low_ship_meta.tar.md5
BL_G950FXXU1AQK7_CL12502673_QB15780950_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5
CP_G950FXXU1AQK7_CP8112554_CL12502673_QB15780950_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5
CSC_3IE_G950F3IE1AQK7_CL12575984_QB15775647_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5
HOME_CSC_3IE_G950F3IE1AQK7_CL12575984_QB15775647_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5
Im specifically confused on the difference between CSC and HOME_CSC, both same filesize.
Do I just open Odin, add in all the first 4 files into there appropriate buttons, and let it rip? Whats the last one for?
Place them in their respective tabs ok AP BL CP and use CSC not home csc.
