Whatever you said sounds right to me. However, i am not sire with the smooth transitions. While scrolling i do feel a little lag. Very little. Here n there.
Maybe cuz i ported myself from Google Pixel to G5S. Pixel felt like silky smooth. Hopefully new roms for this dvice will be silky smooth. Multitasking is amazing...screen is great.
The best thing is battery backup. Solid 1.5 day heavy use.

Faced no problem in multitasking yet. All heavy apps installed.

pretty good, but when i use splitscreen for multitask i can't play 2 games at the same time (one of the game will pause until you touch the screen)

4 Gigs of RAM ought to do it. The phone perfectly manages multiple open apps and switching between them is fluid fast and highly responsive. Great.

Perfect. Smooth. Typical RAM used is 1.7 out of 3GB.
I've been averaging 2.3GB out of 2.7GB. App switching is great. I have 86 apps installed.

Um... The first week of use it dropped everything out of RAM. 2 weeks in... Not nearly as bad. All after a month of not adding new apps, since Pie 'learns and adapts'.
I can say it has steadily gotten better with use!

Ya ram management should be improved.... Sometimes some apps get killed while multitasking
Ram Management and Battery should be their top priority right now,There are a lot of Bugs in the OS as well right now which they need to work on.
