Redmi pro not detected by no unlock tool - Xiaomi Redmi Pro Questions & Answers

I'm new to MiUi and request for some help.I have a Redmi Pro which came preloaded with a ROM from a vendor. I managed to flash Chinese Developer ROM 7.6.10 on the phone. I want to use miui.eu ROMs as there is no other global ROM for Redmi PRO. I have requested and been granted permission for unlocking my device however the unlock tool doest detect my phone in fastboot mode. USB debugging is enabled. the phone appears as 'connected' when I use version 1 of the unlock program but prompts me to use a newer version when i click on un lock. I can access the device and it's contents in MTP mode. attached is a screenshot of the Unlock tool page. I've removed and reinstalled drivers for the device but it still appears as not connected. I checked in ADB, the device does appear in fastboot mode.

Help - can't see Le Pro 3 in fastboot - installing TWRP

Hi All,
Trying to do what should be simple - install TWRP , then omnirom.
Have a new le pro 3, running stock firmware.
have enabled usb debugging, enabled oem unlock.
I can see the le pro 3 in adb devices. I then reboot (adb reboot bootlader).
Phone goes into fastboot. But fastboot devices, or any other command cant see the phone in fastboot mode..
Appreciate any help.. I'm at a loss. Thanks!
Even if ADB show your empty list, when you're at bootloader you can flash TWRP... Look my thread about brick.
Do it with flashing guide... You should also unlock in bootloader mode. And check the status.
For anyone that cares - on a Macbook pro retaina (with windows 10 as VM) - I could only see phone in adb, not fastboot.
installed fastboot for OSX, and ditched the virtual machine, and voila.

Help Unlocking redmi note 3 MIUI 10 GLOBAL 8.9.20 Beta

Long story short,
I tried unofficial unlocking method to try to unlock my bootloader, which resulted in boot loop.
Oem unlock-go gave me remote unlock not allowed error.
Yes, before flashing i did all the steps correctly,
Allow oem unlock : CHECKED
usb Debugging : CHECKED
sign out mi account : CHECKED
DRIVERS correctly installed
After flashing original appsboot file, my device is working good.
Note: Also when my device was in boot loop, miflash could not detect my device, and the device manager was showing Qualcom diagnostic port 9008 or something
So please someone point me to the direction i must take, Do i need to wait for patched appsboot file for this version or something ??
If you install the rom with fastboot (MiFlash)? (Without lock option, only clean)...
I install miui10 and i have unlock bootloader (but i unlock it before official)... Equally i need to reinstall recovery in each reboot haha.
Qualcomm diagnostic? Mmm i use this to use QPST to use MiFlash need other driver...to use MiFlash i use it: Qualcomm HD-USB Qdloader 9008 (or is the same?)

I hv the greatest solution for this shi..t
Just go to fast boot mode by pressing volume down and power.
And
Open mi bootloader unlock tool in pc
And simply unlock ur bootloader normally
This will unlock ur bootloader again
And do whatever uh want
Flash rom again but this tym select only clean all
Device will boot normally
Thats it
This trick worked for meh..
I don't have any mi account in my device. How can I unlock the bootloader?

Cannot unlock Bootloader on Redmi 2 Pro

I am a Noob, trying to unlock the boot loader on ny Redmi 2 Pro. However I get the following message when using the MiFlash Unlock, downloaded form the MI site.:
Couldn't unlock
Device basic data verification failed. This device couldn't be unlocked.
I have created a Mi Account, signed into it on both my phone and laptop.
I want to install a lightweight ROM with only the Google apps that I really use, and according to my research, this is the first step before installing TWRP.
Any idea why I get this error?
You don't have to!, There's NO bootloader lock on Redmi 2/2prime/2pro, it's unlocked since out of the box.

Do you perhaps know where one can find the correct Win 10 x64 drivers for the Redmi 2 Pro?
I have visited the Xiaomi Geek website and downloaded the Xiaomi Redmi 2/2A/2 Prime/2 Pro ADB drivers but when I run the adb device command it does not seem to find my device.
I have enabled Developer Tools and enabled USB Debugging, booted into Fastboot Mode (Power and Volume Down), plugged it in and ran the command, but nothing.
Does one need to root the phone first before running ADB commands as well as installing TWRP?
Any ideas?
*EDIT*
When I run the ADB command "adb devices" it says:
List of devices attached
* daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037 *
* daemon started successfully *
and then just goes back to c:\adb>
In Control Panel under hardware it says "Android Phone" and then under that "Android Bootloader Interface"
I think I have won... My nerves! lol

You can install/flash twrp through device itself, no need to use PC.

Bricked ZenFone Pro Max M1

Hi All,
My ZenFone Max Pro M1 is bricked and cannot be started apart from recovery mode. I used QFIL tool to install the recovery image from the following link:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/asus-zenfone-max-pro-m1/how-to/unbrick-unbrick-hardbricked-max-pro-m1-t3829754
I am able to boot the phone with an image (Oreo 8.1.0) that cannot be used for general use. It seems like very vanilla image with some debugging tools.
I tried enabling the USB Debugging option to flash it with stock ROM. However, I was not able to find OEM unlock option in developer mode. I tried Asus official Boot Loader unlock tool but the same give an error "This device is not supported".
After flashing with the above ROM, my IMEI and Serial numbers are all 0.
If I try to enable the ADB recovery using Sideload, the PC doesn't detect the phone. I am sure all drivers are installed properly as the phone is properly detected in Fastboot. I can also see the phone listed in ADB mode after the UI is loaded in phone.
I also tried installing firmware using external memory but the phone says the external memory cannot be mounted.
Is there any way I can restore the stock firmware on my phone?
Thank you all in advance!
Regards,
Ashish Sharma
