720 has wifi working, so the first post is inaccurate. Even so we have told everyone upfront those other things don't work right now, not sure why you expected them to work. For now this project is basically a toy device. It will be able to do more in the future.

@mattschwantes Is the Wi-Fi part patched in the source code? I want to make builds shortly after the August security patches are merged for Lineage OS.

I've given everything to Sam to patch/update. I thought he had done and built already, but maybe there is a delay? There's really not that much to the wifi fix for 720. 52X is the big pain that is disturbing my sleep.

Maybe you can request write access to the Android4Lumia repositories from @SJR (Sam). I really want to make a Lineage OS 14.1 in some days since there are no Android 7.1.2 based builds by him.
Is it a kernel patch?
Sent from my Motorola Moto G4 using XDA Labs

mattschwantes said:
Not really kernel related. You just need to push correct WCNSS_QCOM_WLAN_NV.BIN to the correct location. Only problem is it gets overwritten by a symlink during the build process. Someone would have figured this out eventually. Unfortunately this only works on 720. 52X has a different issue.

CM Stopped

Hey guys,
Meticulus stopped working on CM, I'm using the rom as my daily driver and loved every update or fix, so sad and a big loss for every CM lover...
My question is, is there a developer who goes on with the rom or does the development really stops?
And does anyone know a solution for the bluetooth pair bug? Thanks!
As I know, someone is working on Paranoid Android for P9 Lite and managed to boot it (as meticulus said) but nobody is working on CM as far as I know..

If we will find someone who can fix bugs (sdcard as internal, stock camera limited to 2.1) Then we have people to finish and test new builds to be able to give it to community

Idk this. The Marionette did build so he can build stuff. I am the one who can test because I'm less experienced in development. So we need someone who can fix bugs. Maybe some request pool or something like that can help find right person?

There are defenitely developers out there who can fix these bugs we are fighting with but we just need the right developer...I'm not the guy who has the most expierence in devolepment so I don't know many delopers
A developer I contacted said that support is coming and that they are working on it!!!

Mod Edit
I followed the cyanogenmood thread all the time and I don't think that anyone made demands to meticulus. Also I don't think that people were ungrateful (what meticulus claims). For example I am a student and though I spend some money to get a device for meticulus. I did not expect from him that he must develop the rom but I expected from him honest work and not to stop developping out of not understandable reasons..
Afterall, @Meticulus had gone way too far out of its development. We can still thank him for bringing us that development and also to sponsors.. hope other dev will come and continue the support so that the progress will continue..

I know right! And everyone said he should make rules, he said: "I dont mind wat you discuss", and now he stopped development. Sorry but I think that that is a really ***** move.

Found a tutorial on enabling volte

First of all, I know, it may sound stupid , but I couldn't help myself not posting it
Please read through and tell me what you think..
I found this tutorial in the RN3 forums and it's for 7.x roms (doesn't make any sense ,though) , but I thought, at least we could use the procedure..
Here is the link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/development/volte-patches-nougat-based-cm-roms-t3509257
I know it's for another device, and for the nougat.. but
Reasons that made me think that it might be possible are
1. I checked the zip provided by that dev, it has nothing to do with the boot partition and it only alters and adds some files to system partifion, which , I think , can be ported or back ported to other devices
2. Procedure includes a framework-res.apk edditing, which can also be done with any device..
I know, it might not be possible, but I think, it might be helpful..wether it's not, let's discuss
I posted it because, there are so many people, forcing themself to use emui, with watever the lag, JUST BECAUSE OF VOLTE...
i tried it now, but my apktoll always fails me at recompiling..
anyone else tried it?
what is "volte"?

VOLTE stands for voice over LTE. Your phone uses LTE network to transmit and receive voice calls resulting in a much better sound quality.

No, i didnt see that untill you point me!
Thanks!
and this becouse @YuZaGa dont mention me
this is a good way to update or downgrade the firmware(no need ODIN) but what i test 'till now, dont work
the TWRP just dont want to write the neded partitions for upgrade.
i tested the script from miui(miui has a script for firmware -upgrade) too and the same result "nothing changed"
i will try to add lines in script for mounting every partitions, one by one maybe this will work
Thanks! again for you mention me for this, but how i sed all the time i'm not a developper, just a porter
so please dont espect to me to do miracles
becouse this will be a "miracle"

I kind of did mention but got your name wrong.
This works for lenovo a6000 and a6000+.
And this works for other phones also. Initially I was scared that I may end up doing some harm to the bootloader. And that's why I never went ahead.
Since TWRP is working on both mm and lp bootloader this makes are task much easier. I also saw a samsung device being upgraded like this. Shall I give the link??

For those who want to Root

Hey guys...i have the same device (Pra-la1).
If you want to root just follow the same instructions that are on Huawei p8 lite 2017 section.
And the recovery for p8 lite 2017 (pra-lx1) is the same with honor 8 lite (pra-la1) and I've been using it since day one that I bought that phone.
