System image/dump needed - Nokia 6 Questions & Answers

As all you may know, many people wish to have something to play with :>
The dump/image I/we need is the newest American/European/International/non-non-Google official one :>
To fetch the dump, you may use Solid Explorer, any different file manager or adb commands.
Here's the China TA-1000 dump BTW:

Verizon Lumia 928 Product Variant Package

Currently downloading Product Variant Package for my new Lumia 928 using Nokia Care Suite. Willing to share if anyone wants to have a look at it.
Let me know or won't waste my time uploading.
Upate: Lumia 928 GDR2/AMBER Packages
thanks @thals1992
Thanks @DavidinCT
thanks @microhaxo
I have to ask...what is a "Product variant package?" is it a download with specific customizations for Verizon? Or is it just a traditional ROM?

Here is a screen shot of the files included in the package. Fairly new to this and I know the .ffu file is the update/rom file but not sure what exactly the others are.

I really don't know what we can do with the ffu yet. I can get the phone into the qualcomm msm mode and install the winusb driver, but a hardware developer will need to create an application to interface to it, or someone leak an app that does that from the OEMs. I would like to see whats in it though, I might be able to search for strings relating to the hidden Tier3 app.

Not yet. Nokia hasn't updated their Access Point app yet to support the 928. It will install, but the internet and mms settings are still fixed on Verizon. I also noticed that there isn't a lib version number underneath it either, but there is one for the app version and database version; it won't be too long before it will change though.

The repository isn't locked out, it is though for Navifirm. It works for Nokia Data Package Manager 2012.18.0 and Nokia Care Suite Phone Support Tools for Store 5.0 - 2013.20.5.3. It just needs this:
usergroupsconfiguration.cfg stored in Nokia Care Suite for Store 5.0
Code:
<configuration>
<user_groups default="CareSuite External">
<user_group
name="CareSuite External"
nol="https://www.caresuite.nokia.com/caresuite/get_params.do?application_id=2"
posti="https://www.caresuite.nokia.com/caresuite/CareSuite"
authentication_needed="0"/>
<user_group
name="Care Pro"
nol="https://www.care.update.nokia.com/caresuite/get_params.do?application_id=2"
posti="https://www.care.update.nokia.com/caresuite/CareSuite"
authentication_needed="1"/>
</user_groups>
</configuration>
I got them from http://www.winphoneviet.com/forum/index.php?threads/38088/
They are links to the files on the Nokia server. The ffu is 4.01 gigs.
I also finally used ffutool from the dev forum on this rom. I'm trying to find a place to upload the VHD file compiled. There are some carrier specific xaps in there.
Awesome, thanks for the help. What exactly is the change you've seen in it?

Same as "stock" rom. Mounted the update .ffu and double checked
and same registry settings on both. If you flashed the update the .ffu should still be in your ProgramData\Nokia\Packages folder.

I meant which registry file contained that setting.

I've got the kitkat OTA zip file for dual sim version[download link provided]

The file name is Blur_Version.14.85.4.falcon_umtsds.AsiaRetail.en.03.zip
If someone need this zip, I can upload it.
It is from a friend. For myself, I haven't received the push yet. But since I have already root my phone, I can't update my phone using this zip file.
As far as I know, you need put this file into /Cache and reboot to apply this update. If I flash stock rom to my phone, then I can't access the /Cache directory.
So either way, this file is useless to me.
Is there anyone can find a way to apply this update?

Step 7: Select .Zip which you downloaded and place in your phone
Step 8: Sit back and relax it takes 5 to 10 mins to update

My phone is unrooted so I guess i'll just have to copy it to my sd card and reboot.
I don't know what is the procedure for rooted phones tough.
But you can always unroot, update and then root again =p

Bump!!!!! ( locked bootloader) ( Window version). Working on x86/x64!

Dude, it's a Windows Batch so you run it on your personal computer on the Windows OS.
If you don't know what it does, what it is and how it works just don't use it and don't try whatever you're trying.
No offense but just let it be if you know nothing (Jon Snow).

"How to use it?

You should research carefully before posting comments. If you don't know what it is, this is a chance for you to know about it.

Sorry not able to at moment
It simply is a case of just downloading the rom zip taking out the system.new.dat & running the script with the command given then unpacking it with the ext tool
Anyone who can follow instructions can do it - requires no knowledge as it's all automated

Hey guys, i open this thread to ask a favour:
I... no, Alberto97 (you know who he is) need a system dump of Stock Lollipop Gpe rom, to search useful material needed to make better future roms developed by him
Can someone please do and upload a system dump on some hosts? Thanks
If someone don't know how to do a system dump, i'll edit this topic with a guide

[CODES] OnePlus 5T Secret Menu Codes

Secret Codez for the One Plus 5T.
Be careful on how you use them.
Check the attachments for codes.
Any idea how to extract *#808# (factory test menu) and making a stand alone app? custom ROM user may be interested to see.
