Battery issue galaxy core plus - Samsung Galaxy Core Plus Questions & Answers

Hi guys, I have a problem with my Samsung Galaxy Core Plus. The battery percentage behaves randomly. I mean, sometimes it is at 60% and then the percentage starts to drop so I see 59%, 58%, 57% ... 3%, 2%. Then it keeps at 2% and holds on for a long. Other times it is charged, while I'm using it, maybe at 70%, it reebots and the battery now is 20%, for example.
It's been a long time I have this problem so I don't think that it is the battery itself but its controller. What can I do?

Weird Battery Problem!!

Now to start of, I have a T-mobile MDA with the 2.17 rom upgrade. My problem is my battery would jump from say 50 % to like 90%. Like today the battery was completely dead and i charged it up to 57% and hat to stopp because i had to run to the gym. Im at the gym and look at my power it mysteriously jumped up to 91%. now i know it doesnt have 91% because it was only charging for about a half hour. anyone know why it does this. Also i notice that when it does this the battery drains really fast until it gets down to the number it would normally be at if it didnt jump. Thank you in advance
about the battery...
If you recharge your battery every day when it has anything between 45% and 70% leaving it charging overnight, what effect will it have?
The battery producers claim that batteries don't have the "memory effect." Is it entirely true?

I have had this issue as well - my suggestion leave it charging and try not to use it while its charging - or if you do remove it from the charger. Last night my charge went from 85 to 100% and light went green. But today during light usage I went from 100 right back to like 86% immediately not gradually.
Some sort of bug I think
yah i guess its just a bug. I wonder how many others are experiencing this
Wierd charge readings
I'm getting the same thing. I am also running the 2.17 ROM but I only noticed it yesterday. I've had the 2.17 ROM for about 3 or 4 weeks but never noticed it happening before. For me it happens if I'm charging and then for whatever reason disconnect the unit from the charger. It jumps to 100% and i guess there is some internal circuitry which prevents any further charge being applied. Nothing scientific but it doesn't appear to happen if I'm charging off the laptop using a USB cable. Has only happened with mains charger. Might do some tests later on to try and find something more concrete but on the other hand I'm not sure that it bothers me much.

Magician Battery pack

Dear Brothers,
I've bought a brand new battery pack for my magician a month ago, initially everything seems find. Until one day I found that my magician felt a little bit hotter than usual during charging. I noticed that the battery indicator shows at 80% like forever. Never increase even after few hours charging. it stop at 80% and the battery is a bit warm. Why this happen? TQ
You have a damaged battery pack (you may even notice it starting to swell slighty). This is a hazard for either a fire or explosion later on. The possibility existed that you either shook or dropped the battery pack. These units 'fast charge' to 80%, then 'trickle charge' to 100%.
If your pack isn't labeled 'dynapak', then you could have simply bought a generic brand (which wasn't assembled properly).
Try to charge with lower ampere below <500maH so it will charge slowly. You can charge with MP3 Player charger which have more lower Ampere.
Coba charge pake charger punya MP3 Player, biasanya ampere nya kecil. Lambat penuh tapi siapa tahu aja bisa sampe 100%

[Z1] Battery life time less 1 Hour

Hello,
I have Xperia Z1, and I have a problem with the battery, about 2 months ago I have official rom of sony, and the battery go very fast(1% per second) at from 15% to 0%, I install cyanogenmod 12.1 becuase this say has better battery life. after install this, the problem continue, but 1 month later, the battery drain fast from 100%-50% in 2 hours, and when the battery level is 50%, this go to 0% and shotdown and need a full recharge (arround 3 hours of recharge). Now my phone shutdown in 90% and drain 1% per minute. My battery life is only of 10 minutes, and take 2-3 hours in recharge.
This is battery, hardware or software problem?
I believe the battery it's damaged.

I think that when battery is damaged (lost capacity) it is charging same fast as discharging, maybe motherboard has some short circuit.

Le 1s Battery Charging and Draining Issue even when it's idle

I'm using my Le 1s from the past 1 year, I didn't have any issues with its battery backup. But all of a sudden it started charging very slowly (like all most it is taking 9 to 10 hours to completely charge) and even it is draining fast (even when the phone is idle also). When it is 100% and if i leave it idle for 4 to 5 hours then there will be only 30 to 40% of charge left. What am I supposed to do now?
I've already done a factory reset but no use
Face the same issue and phone also heats up. Considering to replace the battery.
I am also having the same problem

Battery Percentage drops 2% immediately after disconnecting charger

i am facing a strange issue from the past 1 month. Whenever i disconnect my charge the first 2% (1% definitely, 2% all the time, 3% rarely) drops immediately comparing the rest of the battery percentage... anyone face this issue? any solution? tips.
btw i always maintain 80% battery charge (always try to,)
i discharge my battery once in a month.
I have owned many android phones and this is a common thing i guess. because of this I don't use the percentage icon.
So you charge phone when is below 80%? And discharge it competly? If so - your battery is trash now .

No. I never discharge my battery completely. Like once in a month or two may be.
Maybe bad battery. Check with some app in the store. And try to charge phone at 5-10% . Never let it shutdown.

Well i think the problem is charging it to 80%... Cz all the tine i charge it to 80%... I fixed the issue by charging the device 5% to 100% overnight.
