Can't make calls (ingoing and outgoing) SM-N935K (T-MOBILE) - Samsung Galaxy Note FE Questions & Answers

I have SM-N935K on the T-Mobile network. I can't make ingoing or outgoing calls. The 4GLTE is work perfectly fine because of you guys I thank you. The only thing now is the calls. What apps can I use to fix this or what can I do to fix this?

Might need to look up the apn settings for Tmobile and compare to what your phone has. Its under settings, connections, Mobile networks and access point names. Find the settings somewhere and make a new one with the add. I use ATT so not sure on Tmobiles.

Can you also reset the network settings before you make the apn thing? or maybe you have to make the firmware update.

3G Not working

Just noticed I can only connect to internet via Wi-Fi at home (AT&T), but not 3G. When I turn Wi-Fi off, I can't browse. I'm wondering if I messed something up, so I just grabbed the K7 update to no help.
What did I do wrong lol? It does show AT&T as my provider and it is registered.
Have you setup the APN'S correctly?

My phone worked initially out of the box for AT&T in the U.S. and I didn't have to do anything with APN's before. I stopped some apps and might have stopped one I shouldn't have. When I choose network operators in settings, it comes up with AT&T and TMobile as options, but it just used to stay on AT&T and not search. I'm not sure if Data Roaming and Use Packet Data should be checked or not...but they aren't.
Use packet data should be checked
And that was it blue265 lol. I knew I just changed a setting I shouldn't have. Thanks friend.
apn apn it works well when you set it right

Glad it worked Larsin. I was worried it was that problem a few others had with 3g on the sgs2. I have turned off packet data once before so knew it had to be that when you mentioned that was turned off.

Talking on the International 7.7 using Straight Talk

Hello, all.
I have the 3G version of the Galaxy 7.7 and have purchased the $45 unlimited talk/text/web from Straight Talk and am using their prescribed APN settings.
Data is working great... However, has anyone been able to make a phone call? I continue to receive that the call cannot be connected no matter what number I try.
Not that I am going to do this on a regular basis, however, I just wanted to try it and see if it worked.
I am using the att.mvno APN with proxy proxy.mvno.tracfone.com.
Do I need to create a phone APN as well? This APN is defined as type internet+mms+supl

AT&T 6P not receiving texts

Just last night my 6P wasn't receiving any text messages. I can sent them and people receive them, I can make and receive phone calls. But can't receive a single text.
I tried factory resetting and still nothing.
Anyone have an idea?

Check/change your Preferred Network Type by dialing *#*#4636#*#*
Network settings reset.
Check / correct your APN against the recommended settings for AT&T. You can find the correct settings everywhere.
Delete the APN and create a new one.
Go to AT&T and have them replace the SIM (free).

Thanks! But I've tried all that.
Last night I took it into a best buy. They couldn't figure it out either. Another employee with AT&T slipped in his Sim card and he could send and receive texts.
So then we grabbed a new Sim and tied my number to it, still not receiving texts.
Working with AT&T over the phone to try and figure this out.

I would try your SIM in another phone. If the issue follows your SIM, then it is your AT&T account that has the issue.

Exynos G935F - US Carrier issues?

Tried SuperMan ROM. Inserted my MetroPCS sim card, called MetroPCS so they can add this phone's IMEI. Got data working just fine but I can't make or receive phone calls. I tried various APN settings but just can't get calls to work. Is there a special rom I have to be on or is there just something that I'm missing?
Mind you, I'm not talking about VolTe or Wi-Fi calling...just need to make and receive regular phone calls.
Could the imei be blacklisted?

APN sett

I'm on the Canadian carrier Koodo, I'm having an issue with editing APN settings on any OS update passed 9.0.5. The settings are greyed out. It's not a carrier issue I don't think as this only seems to happen when I install an OS over 9.0.5. It definitely happens on 9.0.6, and I have yet to try on 9.0.7. Is anyone else having this issue?
Did you ever figure this out? I'm having a similar issue with not being able to change apn settings.
Yep. I just add a new apn. You can't edit the existing ones but you can create new ones.
I never figured it out. APN settings are still greyed out on new 9.0.10 update. I can't add a new APN either
Grayed for for me also, even if I try to create a new one. In fact I can't even make a new one because I'm unable to edit the name field. Quite disappointing because I'm currently unable to receive texts
Grayed out apn here as well
Can't find a fix anywhere

Fixed mine.
First off I'm on straight talk
When I set the phone up originally I used the Verizon sim cuz the coverage map looked better than the other networks. Well no mms, texts, or web, grayed out apn. Messed with it for 2 days before saying screw it and going out and getting another sim kit. Got home set up the T-Mobile SIM and boom! Phone works perfectly. My guess is it has something to do with the cdma network and the phone not wanting to accept it...just for testing purposes I put my friends actual Verizon sim in and it did the same thing then the wife's att sim in and everything worked just fine. Op6t doesn't like cdma networks
