I would give it a 4.5/5 on outdoor brightness. The only reason I don't think it deserves full points is because the plastic screen causes glares in the sun.

I would give it a 3.5/4. It might just be me our the screen protector. I still have to move to shade even at different angles. Maybe there is a trick.

3, in bright sunlight, I have to work really hard to see on screen images.

Not a really good performer here. If under the sun, it has a mild visibility. compared to my Nokia 8, It looks pale.
When outdoors on the shadow, it does looks good, just be sure to have the auto brightness on, or enable the outdoor switch on.

It works quite good on me. I can clearly see the display on sunlight (I'm turning on my auto brightness). Well, just a little con, I personally think it adjusts the brightness a little bit too long (delayed maybe ~1 second). It's not a big con, but still, sometimes I find it a bit annoying.

Sunlight legibility is alright. Screen goes up to 500 nits (nearly) and it's visible but if you're under direct sunlight, you're gonna have issues with seeing the screen.

Great for almost any situation, but the issue starts when you're on situation with high light, especially outside and under the sun. Even the brightness is full, it seems still darker and a bit unclear.

My Personal Experience using this phone outside. It SUCKS Big time. Can't see ****. I always have to find a shady spot to read texts or anything.

No issues. Very bright IMO in direct sunlight.
It's a bit brighter than my S8. The slider is less intuitive, I had to turn off auto to take over and push it. Very bright for a phone.

A weakness for a flagship phone. It should be brighter.
