There isn't a port to the H yet because none of the devs have a J320H, it's very difficult to port to a device you can't physically work with. They are quite similar though so you could attempt to port it yourself.

There is a lineage port for the FN that MIGHT (read: should) be usable with the F if some adjustments are made to the boot IMG. Some people have tried using it anyway with mixed results.

Well yeah, except for Lineage.
I don't know how it works but I'm pretty sure I can recover from a wrong boot.img, no?

As long as you've got a good backup and Odin then yeah, a bad boot is usually just a softbrick, though as with any modding there's always the slight risk.

New factory image posted: 5.1.1 LMY48I

As the title says, Google has just posted new factory images for our nexus 9.
https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images
The changelog is huge. Most fixes are in ART and frameworks but there are still some nexus 9 specific changes.
Have fun flashing

Did you even read the linked articles? At the bottom it had the link to the actual change log:
http://www.androidpolice.com/androi....1_r4-to-android-5.1.1_r5-AOSP-changelog.html
So far so good. Haven't really noticed any changes but it's running pretty snappy, then again... It usually does for awhile after a clean slate.

Huh the N9 never got the r5 changes??
Most if not all are under the hood bug fixes by all accounts. All works fine, dare I say it, but battery life seems a little better as well. The changelog is posted in a reply post if you really need to read everything Google have done.
Is there a new kernel in this build or is it the same as LMY48B? If there is a new kernel has anyone released a stock version without encryption enabled? I tried searching the forums but I couldn't find anything. TIA.

There is a new kernel, but the previous one (LMY47X) still works. Not sure of the differences, but here's an unencrypted one that I made. Using it on my N9 now.

The LMY47X version was 5.1.1_r2, and the LMY48I version is 5.1.1_r9.

Marshmallow Need Original Kernel and ATT Boot Kernel

(original post in the wrong forum, trying here)
I flashed a kernel from a verizon forum (https://forum.xda-developers.com/ver...-edge-t3416608).
The links on Princecomsy never worked, and my phone only lasts 12 hours unplugged, doing nothing ( i went to battery usage and was dismayed to see the ETA till phone death).
Anyone have please please have the Original Boot kernel for an ATT Marshmallow Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Eng Boot Kernel ?
I left messages in the original forums, but no one is responding.
Please dont link to these, the links are dead:

From the sounds of this, you're needing stock firmware. And since you didn't specifically say s7 edge and you only said s7, here's what you need.

[ROM REQUEST] Android GO 8.x.x (SM-J320F/FN)

Hi there, Debla here
This is my first threat on xda so donĀ“t expect it to be perfect
So I saw about 1 month ago that Android GO came out for future and current devices (That does not count ports).
And as you know that Android GO was made for not so powerful devices, for example, The Nokia 1.
So I thought: maybe someone will port it to the J3 (2016) (It's still my current device)
Well yeah its good for its price (I paid 125$ for it)
But I had a cheaper phone that was better than my current phone.
But I think that Android GO would run maybe better on it than stock!
But the only problem was ... I'm not a dev. of any kind.
So I made this post to ask if it would be possible!
Love DeblaGaming
PS: You can call me WinDOS (Will Change my name l8ter)
PPSS: If oreo isn't possible maybe we can find an alternative (modifying, for example, OctOS to make it as close as possible to Android GO)
. .
I
U
a few developers actually tried porting Oreo a while back, actually got to the point of building it, however apparently our device has some kind of restriction in place so only lollipop-Nougat will boot, until that restriction is broken there can be no oreo, though thanks for posting this, perhaps some intrest is all thats needed to start some developer cracking this restriction, but at the moment I think our best bet for getting an up to date OS is porting Sailfish

that'd be near impossible, for one sailfish just isn't android, but foe two the conpatabilty laywr won't work on ported devices, you'd need to port some kind of android chroot (I forget what its called) which is near impossible due to processor differences and even if you could port it it would drain the battery and give horrible system performance, this device may be able to run vanilla sailfish and not much else
