'Android System' appearing in downloaded apps? - Droid RAZR M Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Before I do a reset on my phone, I am curious to know how 'Android System' ended up in my Downloaded Apps section of the app manager? I've not done anything with the device in terms of something that would do this. It might also explain why I keep getting package installer errors.

I did a reset through settings as opposed to flashing the firmware. I was curious to see how badly I screwed things up. Google Play store was missing and Account Services wouldn't load properly. Now I know when you have a locked bootloader and the Google APKs come preinstalled, that I have to restore firmware to use stock apps. Well, if some of you know me enough by now, I don't take no for an answer usually. So I took an hour, looked for the stock Play Store. I found it on the first try. Or the phone accepted it. Either way, All 4 APKs fixed themselves, but they migrated out of the system. So The only way to fix the stock is to flash firmware. If you're lucky enough to find the right APK online, they will fix themselves, but won't be system apps. So far everything seems so good.

Unexpected Failed Root....

I've already rooted this thing like 3 or 4 times and gone back to stock for repairs since I'm flashing for Cricket. Now it wont root. Here's the entire Root CMD:

The first few times I did it, it worked flawless. But now I've tried 3 times, and it just goes about with this error.
Never seen that one, maybe try downloading the root file again?? Just a thought... seems like its not installing superuser properly

Ok, that worked. I also ran it directly from CMD this time instead of clicking Start_Root.bat... Thanks.
same problem
I am having the same problem, I have tried it manually also but with the same results. It seems like the rage.bin loads properly because I get a reply stating so. It hangs up on the changing of permissions even when I try it manually, any thoughts? I did so the Verizon OTA and now when the phone reboots it tries to load some other verizon junk I was thinking maybe the .bat file is timing out can I change the delay in the file?

[Q] Phone thinks no storage left!! help

So my SM-G900H keeps giving me the "internal storage running out" warning even though in storage settings it says I have 14.98gb of free space. I also took out the SD card now to eliminate that factor and still this message is there. It doesn't let me install apps because it says there isn't enough storage space for them. However, it still Downloads the app no problem, error pops up when it tries to install it. I went through the whole internet and couldn't find anything. Any ideas? Thanks!

The entire internet, huh? How long did that take you to do?
Anyway, back to reality - a forum search usually fixes issues like this. It's a good habit to actually search before posting, as it often gives you an instant answer. And at least lets you pose better informed questions.
Try the solution in the top search result. And failing that, restore a backup or write a 100% stock firmware image to the phone to correct obscure system corruption.

com.lenovo.runtime Lenovo spyware?

After the whole superfish spyware scandal with Lenovo I'm curious what you guys think about this runtime from lenovo which came preinstalled on my ZUK. It basically has full device access. I tried freezing it but it keeps on running in the background. The app name is Runin-Main (com.lenovo.runtime).
Anyone did a deeper analysis of this app on and what it does?
I froze it with Titanium Backup and it stuck.
Actually on a reboot even with the files disabled, I think the start because the force close option is there, but they stay off until you reboot again.
I have the same doubt about it, also because looks really aggressive on battery drain.

Here more details.
Maybe some kind of testing/benchmarking tools?
Looks suspicious.
Same problem here, this com.lenovo.runtime is taking a lot of battery, what is it exactly? Anyone else tried to froze it or delete?
This process is only on Cyanogen OS? not on CyanogenMod?
Not showing up in my battery stats. I came across this too. It's harmless you can get to it with a button combination too. It's an engineer test. Try freezing them.
Sometimes it appears, sometimes not, is it the same on CM12.1 or only on COS12.1?
It takes a lot of battery.
This only comes preinstalled with COS12.1

Strange processes in battery stats

I went to Settings->Battery and saw these 2 5-digit processes at the bottom of the stats.

At first I thought they might be process IDs and then unrealized that PIDs only go up to 65535 in Linux, so what could these be? I'm on stock and unrooted but am unlocked. I have not sideloaded anything or otherwise installed any .apks from anywhere other than the Play Store.
I see these too even before I rooted. Not sure what they are, but I usually get a settings app crash or freeze when I click on one.
I'm getting these too and can't find any information on them.
I am not rooted and I am still seeing this kind of processes, any help would be much appreciated thank you.
Did you uninstall some Apps you used during this battery cycle? I could imagine that Android "forgets" their names upon uninstallation and thus refers to them with some internal ID.

I didn't uninstall anything, no.
BTW guys, sorry about the ridiculous size of the image in my OP. I posted the OP from my phone last night and the post preview seemed fine. I didn't realize how HUGE the screenshot is until I loaded the post on my desktop's browser.

App requires external storage

After I successfully installed this rom (https://forum.xda-developers.com/p10-lite/development/rom-havoc-3-0-gsi-fixed-build-huawei-t4014127) on my WAS-LX1 I have been getting an error message saying that I don't have sufficient internal storage when I actually have 20GB storage left. I have tried to reinstall the rom and tried to install a new one (https://forum.xda-developers.com/p10-lite/development/rom-lineageos-17-1-huawei-p10-lite-t4064115) and I still keep getting the same message. I resized every partition I could on twrp but nothting happened. Although I can download certain apps, most of playstore apps keep giving me the same error. Moreover Chrome keeps crashing, and I can't use the camera. I have searched it on google and I tried to clean cache and storage from google play services and play store but it wasn't fixed. Is there any way to fix this?
