Fire OS 5.4.0.0 downgradeable on Fire HD 10? - Fire HD 8 and HD 10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, guys, my tablet has automatically upgraded to Fire OS 5.4.0.0. Can I downgrade the firmware to 5.3.1 or 5.3.1.1 so that I can jailbreak my HD 10?
I'm a noob at stuff like these.
Thanks for your help!

no, attempting to downgrade will brick the Fire
Jailbreaking is an IPhone thing

Is rooting possible on the latest firmware?

I belive its 6.2, I don't have my Kindle Fire with me.
But is a root even possible? My device never shows up in adb, after countless tries still no luck.

Please do a search:

And yes, it is possible, through the same method as always.
why I can't root my new kfire with firmware 6.2 and not rooted yet. I've tried with superoneclick 2.3,the procedure end without problems, but at the end, kfire isn't rooted! why? thanks

Root method for .621?

I have successfully rooted my Kindle Fire and want to root my X. Has there been a root method figured for the recent update or can I use z4root, Pete's tool, or any of the other methods that worked on prior versions?

So far ,from what I have read on other forums there is no way to root or sbf back to a previous version after you are on .621
That's what I keep seeing too. I'm hoping they find a root method soon. My contract is about up but I am really getting the itch to root my X.

You can root with the latest motochopper... No recovery because there's no unlock method for that system version
