How to fully wipe my redmi pro and recover my imei? - Xiaomi Redmi Pro Questions & Answers

I have a Redmi Pro with helio x20, I tried to change my imei numbers with a stupid app called Champleon (something like that), it didn't work and changed my imei numbers something like 30244w%142a3. Even If I wipe everything and install latest weekly rom, my imei numbers doesn't get restored to factory defaults. Xiaomi detects weird imei's and always getting pop up alert about that. I want to delete everything and install a clean rom, clean twrp and get my imei's back. I don't want xiaomi to remember my bounded mi account with my phone and wants its password. I hope you understand my problem and help me out. I tried maui meta and sn writer solutions and it didn't work.

did you get the solution, don't you have the box of the phone ? on that box you can find your imei

Flash TWRP, than get a new ROM at en.miui.com
Wipe using TWRP and flash your ROM. Your phone will be in a bootloop, until you flash SuperSU.(or at least mine was). The you go! Your back to stock!

Simplest way:
Find the sticker that came with the device covering the back of the device, you can find your IMEI there and change it back with whatever program you desire

[Q] Survived from brick but i ve lost my IMEI

I tried to install the new version of CyanogenMod Snapshop but unfortunately afte the reboot of my LG G2 D802 the mobile phone bricked.
I read a lot around the Internet and finaly i succeeded to unbrick it. Th problem now is that i do not have IMEI (is null now). I read that there is one program that you can fix your disappeared IMEI but cannot work in my personal laptop. Do you know anything how to repair and fix my IMEI with my previous official IMEI (i have it in the box that i bought but i didnt have any backup of it).
Thank you
I am having the same problem. I was loading a milestone version of a rom and when it loaded after wiping there was no service whatsoever and everything is null. I understand it wiped the efs and I dont have a backup. I also understand that we can change the info back with the numbers off of the original box using dfa cdma tools. I have the program but my question is the 000000 code does not work when i try to unlock the phone. Anyone with any experience with this program that can help me to re write my meid???

Which program do you have?
Dfs CDMA tools
I don't have any personal experience with this, but I have done a ton of reading on this problem and it's become my biggest fear. From what I have gathered you have very very little chance of fixing this yourself. It most cases it goes back to the manufacturer. Can you tell us exactly how this happen?
I have no idea, i have been rooted for months and swapped roms like crazy. I wiped and installed a new rom and then it was getting no service so i tried to update profile and said it couldnt. Then check in the settings for the baseband and meid and unknown was shown across the board. Trying to figure it all out now!
I have had the same thing happen what cm did u install I had a d802 version on my ls980 restored it but now it will only accept a d802 modem and the signal is weak and drops out but it did show my ESN and imei and baseband again instead of unknown if I would have flashed it with a ls980 modem
Sent from my LG-D959 using xda app-developers app
Have you tried restoring a backup?
Sent from my dr87 v7 powered, Mahdified LG G2 (D801)
My problem started when I tried to update my LG G2 D8002 to the latest Cyanogenmod Kitkat Snapshop and i stuck in clockworkmod recovery loop after returning in CWM to take backup. I tried to connect it to my Laptop but i cannot have any access in my files via my laptop. The bad thing that i did is that i formated everything in my mobile (as you can see and my IMEI too) to make a clear installation of a new rom after the brick. When i entered my new ROM i realized that i have everything apart from my IMEI. So that i do not have any network-signal in my mobile but a connection to Wifi
The program Dfs CDMA tools and Octopus Box does not work in my desktop. (Any idea?)
Do you have any idea how to repair it? I read that there is a folder (nfs i suppose that encode inside the IMEI). So, if someone find this folder can upload it somewhere? Probably will find a solution to solve it.
i was solved problem with no imei :
make full buckup from TWRC in another LS980
restored that buckup in bricked phone (make first buckup on it, to know name of folder, and take to that folder buckup from work phone)
sorry for me English

Are you sure that this works in all devices of LG G2?

No IMEI after cyanogen 11

Dear xda-developers users:
I have recently flashed the cyanogenmod 11 rom in my U8800 pro, following the instruction on this thread. (Installed TWRP and so on)
Everything worked perfectly, but in the process I lost my IMEI.
Sadly I have not a backup of my IMEI (I trusted the upgrade to go smoothly), but I have my IMEI number written down on the phone behind the battery. Is there a way to "reflash" my IMEI?
I found guides explaining how to do this, but all of them required to access some sort of service menu that is not avaliable on Cyanogenmod. Can you please explain me how to restore my phone to the original ROM (I have really no clue on how to do that!). Also a procedure to recover my IMEI without restoring the original ROM is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Hi
Im also facing the same issue after flashing the CM11 from Blefish on my U8800 (not pro)
Unfortunately, for now the only fix available to us is to reinstall the stock rom, use the IMEI backup tool and then reflash the custom ROM.
I haven't done that yet as my phone is still working fine (IMSI and the serial no. is being used I guess)
If I find a fix will update, thnx anyways

Had the same problem like you before. You must have done something that altered the Baseband/Modem. I will assume you haven't made an EFS Backup. What you can do is this, download a stock Firmware and manually flash is. Just be sure that the firmware you will download is meant for your country. After flashing, try to see the IMEI of your phone. If the correct IMEI shows, then try making calls, text and connect to your mobile data. If not, then try flashing any modem meant for GT-i9500. If the problem still persist, then your last option would be to change baseband antennae or worst, replace the board itself which can only be done by technicians which has the proper replacement parts.
Thanks for answering, i flash my device with my country oficial stock room, after that im still having the correct imei but cant make calls, say no service and no registered on network, i have efs backup, but after restore nothing happend =(

2. Imei Fix?

So, i have flashed my phone with the wrong firmware, SS instead of DS, after i realize that mistake, i flashed the right file, but after, my DS wont work.
After flashing a separate Dualsim File, my DS is working, but my 2. Imei is 000000000000000, and i have a regulary second imei.
Now i am looking for a solution, to edit the 2. imei
Your IMEI numbers are listed on your sim tray if you need them. I used HCU tool by DC-Phoenix (dc-unlocker) to insert my IMEI and SN information after a bad update wiped it.
First I rebranded to international variant vkyl29c636 and erecovery with funkyhuawei tools, then rebranded and erecovery back to my correct stock and region with the same tools, then finally repaired IMEI and SN with HCU and today I'm so happy to have my phone back haha.
I hope this helps you a little.
nice, but i am looking for a free solution, hcu needs credits for repair
Sry, but there is NO free solution to fix IMEI on Huawei phones!!!
hcu no works in last roms

No IMEI with no way to restore. Advice please.

I somehow erased my IMEI (it shows 0 in Settings) after flashing custom ROMs. I have no way to restore it as I did not backup the efs partition and I can't find the box for the phone with the IMEI sticker on it. I wiped modemst1 and modemst2 but that didn't change anything. I still have service but I'm worried I might get into legal trouble for using a phone without an IMEI. I also can't send it to ZTE as I can't be without a phone for days/weeks. Should I keep the phone or get a new one?
Odd that you still have service... I would keep using it.
same thing here on two boards. no luck with service on either, though. (Tmobile) both have no imei, no serial. fortunately, i have another DD axon and 1 body to test and work on the two boards. the best theory i have is to use QPST to backup .qcn and restore it. i feel like imei and serial are stored in the qfuse system. i cannot, however find a detailed answer on how to do that aside from videos and posts here and there that claim CDMA workshop ($100) will fix/restore it. my belief is that there is a function within qpst and qfil to do this, but i cant get my handset booted and recognized in a mode that allows such. there is also the lack of detail on how to boot into diagnostic mode (which i thought was EDL, but that doesnt work). really, i wish someone from ZTE would just say here is the factory image file (not edl, the whole emmc flash file) and this is how you flash it. Wishful thinking, i know.
so in a strange twist of events, restoring my efs backup reflashing b35 edl, despite it breaking touch, wiping data and flashing b29 edl (which restored my touch) netted me my IMEI back. i dont know why, but it did. finally. month long task finally back.
@bkores did you figure it out?
EDIT: i finally restored mine. took updating to b35 and wiping internal to register again for some weird reason. but its back.
