Unlock again bootloader officially when I have already done it unofficially? - Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime Questions & Answers

I have already unlocked the bootloader (i believe) with the thread of kentaurest, but I really need to unlock it again like an official way... xiaomi rejected my unlock but the second time I asked for this they acepted, now I can unlock this but it stops at 50%.
Another solution would be format the device with the twrp that I have already set but people said that if you wipe or something like that you would brick the phone...
Quick question: if I make a backup of the content of the phone... Can i after retrieve the data to the new flashed rom? (xiaomi of course)
Any help? thx a lot

Stuck in upgrade hell here! Bootloader unlock code, does that change with stock ROMs?

Originally bought ba locked P9 Lite over a year ago ...got my unlock code via DC unlocker ...all worked fine.
So I wanted to upgrade to a more recent version ...used firmware finder...unfortunately chose the wrong flavour of firmware & it's all gove very wrong since then.
I can get my phone working but can't remove the wrong version from updater...it's always now wanting to update to that version (which doesn't work). So I only have two options...
1. Live with the updater telling me that there's an update available (to the wrong version ...as chosen by me in formware finder)
2. Completely wipe my phone...but for this I need to unblock my bootloader...here's the thing, the code I got from DC Uulocker over a year ago doesn't appear to be working (get "wrong password" when I use the fastboot oem unlock command"
So to my question...does the bootloader unlock code change if/when changing (stock) roms?
If I pony up for some more DC Unlocker credits, will this get me out of my current predicament?
Have you tried to clear the Updater app data/cache ?
Well after an awful lot of faffing about (not involving clearing out any cache)...it seems to have disappeared (not sure how/why though)

Unlock bootloader without having access to settings on SM-A510F

So a mate of mine found an A5 recently without any identification on it. Thought he might as well keep it himself else it'll just be useless.
Problem is the phone's stuck in the initial setup so he asked me to unlock it. My plan was to install TWRP, wipe everything completely and flash the firmware again. I can't get to the settings to access the OEM unlock though. Is there any way to unlock the bootloader and/or get TWRP on there so I can completely wipe the phone?
Same situation here... How did it turned out?

Problems with WiFi and bootloader.

Hello guys. Ihave some questions about my Huawei P8 Lite:
1)Lock bootloader: I've read that if i give command
HTML:
fastboot OEM relock
the bootloader ststus is "relocked" is this true? If yes, how can i make it "locked"?
2)I 'd like to give the phone to an assistance center to fix the WiFi problems (WiFi and hotspot don't work) but i have some issues: the bootloader is unlocked but i haven't do it, i've used kingroot that unlocked it so i don't have the code for relocking (but i can still obtain it)... Even if the bootloader is unlocked, it gives error when flashing every file (recovery, etc...) so i don't think is unlocked
So... if i give the phone to assistance center, will they accept it even if is unlocked?
Should i relock the bootloader?
How much will it cost?
I 'd like to use the door-to-door service (I haven't used this yet)
How to make bootloader status "locked" and not "relocked"?
Thanx for replyes :fingers-crossed:

Relocking bootloader

Hello,
I unlocked my bootloader with an unlock code obtain from Huawei.
I want to relock it now to install ota updates and rid myself of the boot warning screen.
Huawei no longer provide the codes and I can find mine. I've contacted them but they say the cannot provide it.
Is there any other way to relock it?
Thanks.
Reinstall with service ROM. It makes it "locked", instead of "relocked" and it doesn't matter if the phone is unlocked or not.
Thanks,
Service rom? Is that an official rom?
It's OK I found it. Didn't really want to wipe everything but need must I suppose.
Thanks.
You can obtain unlock code via HCU Client or DC Unlocker but this is a PAID service (3-4 EURO).
If you want to relock the phone just install Service ROMs and your phone will be as a factory new ;p

Hi, I wanted to know if unlock bootloader will erase the phone data or not. Everyone has said something in different forums. I'm really confused.

It does. Use Google and Mi account to backup and restore your contacts, SMSes, call logs, etc.
Copy your photos to PC.
From Playstore, Library you can see which apps you had installed, to install them again.
I unlocked bootloader half a year ago, I think I had everything back the same evening
It will wipe - you have warning in Mi unlock when you choose to unlock bootloader
P.s.
