Stock Verizon mic doesnt work with speakerphone - Verizon HTC 10 Questions & Answers

Hoping you guys can help. HTC 10 makes normal calls fine, people can hear me and i can hear them perfectly. However while on the call if i switch to speakerphone, i can still hear them (speakerphone) but they can't hear anything. Almost like the microphone got turned off completely but only when using speakerphone. Any thoughts?
Thanks!

check options, fiddle around with the options while on call while on speaker and off

HELP! Mic volume way too low.

Hi guys, I was hoping maybe someone can help me out and diagnose my problem. For the first part of the day, my phone worked normally. I could make/receive calls without any problem. All of a sudden in the late afternoon, I got a call from the 'missus' and she could not hear me at all. I thought it was just the phone possibly acting up so I rebooted and then called her back. She picked up but could not hear anything from my end. This went back and forth a few times until I reached for the home phone to call her back. After our conversation I tested the voice record and unless I talk very very LOUD and directly with my mouth/lips on the mic, the phone will pick up NOTHING. Even if I'm just a few inches away, it will not pick up my voice whatsoever. Is there some sort of setting that allows you to adjust mic sensitivity? I'm on the latest official Sprint ROM and was wondering if reflashing might do the trick? From my understanding of microphones, they either work or don't work right? I mean it IS picking up my voice, I just have to yell to high hell for it to do so. And even then the playback will not be nearly as loud as the volume I was yelling at (yes my speakers work correctly). Thanks in advance!

[Q] Cant make/answer calls mic and earpice works

Ok, this is my problem, I just got the phone, did a factory reset and then I put my SIM, it gets a good signal and 4G network, I installed all my apps and everything was great, but when I tried to make a test call it seems like the call ends, I only hear the first beep and the sound is gone (but the call is still going), I cant hear the other person, they also cant hear me, I've tried Groove IP and it works great, on the earpiece, headphones, etc. both mics work great, I cant get any sound when calling using the dialer, there is a beep and the earpiece sound is gone.
I also get the "Conditional call forwarding active" pop up.
Any insight on this? :crying:
Thanks

Speakerphone causes me to sound broken up to caller

Has anyone ran into a issue of having the someone not be able to hear you because your phone was on speakerphone? I've been having a lot of trouble with it lately. Callers will tell me they can hardly hear me and that I sound broken up and muffled while on speakerphone. As soon as I turn speakerphone off they can hear me perfectly.

[Q] Can't hear but they can hear me.

Hey guys I'm looking for some help.
Earlier today my phone stated acting weird.
Any call whether coming in or sending out I can't hear the ringing or the other person but they can hear me perfectly.
The only time I CAN hear someone normally is when I'm on complete wifi calling or I have my hear phones plugged in using regular network.
So when using my own service it won't work without headphones, not even speaker.
very inconvenient to carry headphones everywhere.
But wifi calling works fine. Speaker and everything.
Anyone have any idea?

Echoing for other party while I am using loudspeaker on voice calls / top-mic test

I have had the phone for about a month now, and I have an issue where if the call is on loudspeaker for me the other person hears a lot of echo.
I believe it to be because it diverts to the top microphone when in loudspeaker, but I am not sure what the issue is.
When doing the hardware test the 'top-mic' test is extremely echo-y. I can do a video of this if it helps, but its just looping the original sound back and keeps getting louder and louder. The main-mic is fine.
Anyone experienced this and have a solution? Thanks
Edit: I have tried a few things like the Micfix module but that didnt help.
