Brightness Slider in Notifications Drop-down - OnePlus 5 Questions & Answers

Is there anyway to enable the brightness slider in the notifications drop-down without fully expanding the quick tiles? This was a convenient option on my s7.

On a related note, I'm curious if there's a mod/kernel/etc that adds swipe status bar brightness control. It was one of my favorite features from PureNexus rom on my last phone.

That would be acceptable too lol

Show brightness control on top, Notification Shade, Stock Nougat AOSP?

Does anyone knows how to enable the brightness slider or control on first swipe of notification panel? SystemUI?
Kinda similar behavior on Nougat TouchWiz, S8 or Note 8 notification panel.
Can anyone make a tutorial?

Change display brightness from the status bar

Hi.
Can we somehow enable the feature to change the brightness screen only with swiping our finger on the status bar?
I came from an OPO and this is possible. On G6 to change the brightness, swipe down the status bar and only then, using the slider.
Thanks.
also worst is that you dont have brightness on locksreen status bar, you have to unlock AND pull down to do it..

notch problem

i had xiaomi mi6, there is no notch and i could see all notifications at status bar
now i want to disable notch side and add new flat status bar. is it possible?
no as far as I can say. There is an option in settings to hide the notch, but all it does is that the status bar stays black regardless of the open app. But it's not displayed lower on the screen (which is I believe something you were after) so the notch is still there and cannot display anything in that area.

More icons in status bar?

Hello,
Our 6T with its water drop type notch could accommodate more icons to be displayed in the status bar, but it's limited by the OS. Is there any way to bypass the limited quantity of notification icons in status bar in Pie? The device is rooted.
Sorry if this was asked before, I used the search option but couldn't get an answer.
I did this by increasing "Smallest Width" in the developer settings. I am not aware of any other ways.
