Low bluetooth volume and in call volume - Samsung Galaxy S8 Questions and Answers

Does anyone know how to increase the bluetooth volume and the in-call volume.
I use the same bluetooth headset that I used to have on my s7 and I find the bluetooth volume way too low even though the slider is at the max setting.
Also the in-call volume is low as well.
Is there any service mode where we can change the default volume value or any hidden setting.
I have the original firmware without root G950W

I have this same issue on my note 8 did you get it resolved?

Actually I am not sure if it is completely resolved.
Are you using a lot of bluetooth headsets?
Try to use another headset, put the volume half way, unpair the bluetooth that you are having the problem and then repair it.
I think sometimes I have a bit higher volume.

Low volume when using phone problem

Hi
I have an odd problem with my XDA2s.
If I play a media file the speaker and wired headset volume is fine.
If i make or receive a call the volume is very low (even when set at maximum on both the XDA and the wired headset).
Has anyone seen this problem before or is aware of a fix?
Cheers,
The in call volume level isn't controlled by the sliders at the top of the screen but by the volume hardware slider on the side of the phone during a call. Try just pushing it up during a call.

BT volume - can't longer adjust

Weird. My volume control no longer works if I try to adjust BT headset volume by using volume slider. Suddenly. Anoyne knows how to bring it back to life?
TIA
Did you install the new AKU2 ROM update?
I think this changed the BT volume behavior.

Yes, I did. Why it alway like that with M$??? Why remove such a usefull feature??
I do see your point but for me I was actually glad the behavior changed - I always have the volume up to maximum for when I hold the JAMin to my ear for regular calls but when it pairs with my car's handsfree it was always too loud and distorted.
I was always adjusting the volume up or down on the device depending on where I was.
Now after the new ROM I just set the device on max and the car volume the way I like it and I'm all set.

I need to increase volume on my bluetooth device

I have a tomtom external gps...it has bluetooth but the volume is a little low even at full volume...
is there any way to change the bluetooth phone volume to be higher then the current maximum setting?

Low Phone headset volume

I would like to know if there is a way to hack the registry to increase / boost the phone headset volume. Please note I am not talking about the "speakerphone" volume, I just find that when talking to someone on the phone headset it seems alot softer than the Wizard that I had before, even when the volume is set to max.
i would also like to know how to do this. i feel like my wizards ear piece volume was deafening.. but on the tytn its so incredibly low
I don't have a problem with the headset, but even on the highest volume setting the phone's earpiece speaker is a bit too quiet.
Any thoughts anyone?
Thanks.
Same hear, just to darn low at the highest volume setting. I see there are fixes for other HTC phones but nothing specific for this phone. Has anyone on this board managed to hack the registry and find an effective fix to increase the earpiece volume?
i'd love this as well - just bought one of these :
http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=138247
and the volume level is VERY disappointing. my wizard used to have an acceptable volume level but i can't imagine being able to hear music on my tytn with traffic around. :-(

Bluetooth Audio Volume (per device setting)

I would have sworn there's a setting where you can match the volume to a specific Bluetooth device?
I would have sworn the newest version of Android allowed you to have different media volumes set for different bluetooth pairings. For me, I have a bluetooth headset and then two vehicles that pair to the phone. I prefer the cars to be set to max volume and obviously the headset to not be set to full volume. Is there a way to get the phone to remember the volume level for each device? It seems to just go to whatever I had it set to last regardless of device (so I go into the car with volume set low and have had the headset pair at maximum volume).
Is it the setting under (settings>>sound>>bluetooth absolute volume)??? If that's it should it be toggled on or off. I have it set to toggle ON and the bluetooth audio volume doesn't seem to sync.
Headset is the OnePlus Bullets (from 6 months ago).
Thanks, I was about to post this too. Same issue I have, thought Android P fixed this where it would remember the last set bluwtooth vol. Don't like to install another app just to fix this.
I have the same question.
This was announced as a Pie feature (Bluetooth volume memory), so wondering why oneplus is hiding this functionality.
For me bluetooth does not even remember the volume if I keep using the same pair of headphones... Every time I reconnect my headphones the volume is maxed out again. This is really annoying...
Similarly, I like to have Bluetooth on maximum volume in my car, but not on my headphones. Even my old OnePlus One had per-device Bluetooth volume memory. The 6T has taken a retrograde step that destroys my ears when I use my headphones!
I had to use another app to work around this. Bluetooth app which rememebrs each device volume settings.
Was a fix ever found for this?
I have a BT speaker, and headphones. The headphones require a higher volume setting for the same sound level.
Anyway to set a BT volume limit per device to make them close together? I don't want to turn off absolute volume control completely. While it solves this issue, it adds other complications.
(Yes, I used Google, and yes, I know i'm bumping an old thread)
