To properly record the call on both sides, root your phone and install Boldbeast call recorder from the playstore and enable root options in the app.

during a call, click at the 3 dots on the right, where you would see that option. I have not tried out the later lineage builds; so, not sure if they have removed it.

Call recording (in line)

Hi!
Just got a N1 today!
Could someone please suggest a calls (voice) recoder that make GOOD recording of BOTH parties during conversation.
There's a trick on WinMo that let's you record the other person's voice in-line, not from the mic, thus making it very well heard. Then on top of that HTC In Call Recorder or anything else can be used.
Basically what do I need to do to record calls clearly on N1?
Thank you!
Google Voice has the ability to record calls. Sounds great, too. If I had an invite, I'd shoot you one.

win-win?
Can you explain why Google voice is advantageous for you? I understand its features, but I dont see why so many people are switching to using it. Do you use its benefits all that much? If so, which ones?
Thank you for the invite, but I indeed need to use my own mobile number. Any apps that don't record from the mic, but straight from the line?

I send texts via google.com/voice...I record some of my phone calls, as needed for work...
I keep trying to come up with some reason why having multiple numbers attached to my one phone is advantageous...but I can't.

One of the comments in adrolib: "Well, just installed the apparently on nexus1. Auto record works fine however, I can only my voice get recorded and not the other side."
So far I haven't found an application that makes records directly from line and not from the mic
Ok. Thanks for the responces. Will stick with Topaz for now, will use N1 as a backup

I can confirm this one works well.
Both sides are very clear and load enough.
Many others programs I tried were useless....

Not that I could find.
Its either on or off.
However, there is a possibility to exclude phone numbers from recording.
In that case, every number NOT on the list will automatically be recorded if recording setting is on.
If you plan to root, there's an easy method I used for myself(Works fine):
Install the Xposed framework and then the module: "Enable Call Recorder"(or similiar sounding) from the Xposed repo. this enables a button in the dialer allowing you to record any calls and saves them to "/emulated/0/sounds" in a format called "amr"!
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.grinzone.incallrecorder
worked for me
I used a method to have a call record button in my standard dialer.
I flashed a secphone.apk and some other file but i cant seem to find it.

Your phone is rooted? Yes? Then install xposed framework then go to this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2549923. I think that is the only way to record calls.
I use this one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.killermobile.totalrecall
Does not require root. Can hear both sides of the conversation with perfect clarity (the same cannot be said for all call recorder apps).
Yes, There is apps in the Android store that let you do call recording also lg g2 exposed from the play store let you record call but you need to be rooted for lg g2 exposed.

s10+ Call recording

Any advice on workaround for this?
I need to have my calls recorded and have been doing so for a while now on PIE its been disabled by Google,
I dont think rooting will be the solution due to my banking app.
Any advice please?
Thanks
You'll have to purchase a Samsung phone with 8.x, so your options are the s/Note 8/9. Also, Magisk can hide root. It's held that functionality for a long time.

I use the Cube call recorder app and it works just fine for me.
There are a few 3rd party apps that will call record. Just have to choose your preference. May have to pay a few bucks for it.
is your S10+ use snapdragon 855 or exynos. I rememeber on exynos version, SS has stock call recorder
I have an exynos S10+ and it has been recording calls just fine.

If you decide to root you can cloak root to specific apps using Magisk

Is that a stock application? Can you set to automatically record all calls by default and then let's say delete everything older than 60 days or so?

Cost 9.99 but its the best one(my opinion)

All call recording are working just for limited time until Google stops that totally very soon. I think after 1st of April it should be not possible by stock Android 9.

Don't see the option for call recording available on my Exynos model. I've tried 3rd party call recording applications and all seem to capture from the microphone. Can anyone recommend an application that can record calls without the use of the microphone? On my old Sony Xperia Z3 which I have replaced with S10+ I used to use Call Recorder - SKVALEX that records perfectly clear audio of both side using API, however, the application requires root.
