Have that dot to hide the navbar now, but now the navbar is white.

There are 6 different colors you can select for the nav bar. Find them under settings/display/navigation bar.

They are all white in Settings, although I've talked with a few others and they are not having the white problem.

I know - you've got white with a blue tinge, white with a red tinge, white with a green tinge, etc. They're all white though.
I use automate to get it back to black - it works for almost all apps, and it's a lot more consistent than that navbar play store app (which tended turn back to white if you hid the navbar).

Download navbar app from the playstore and you can get the navbar back to black or to whatever color that you want. Your welcomes?

Deleted.

Not sure why but mine is grey with white icons. Dont know what changed your color.

I use automagic but would be interested to see your flow so that I might be able to convert for automagic. I'm using the navbar app now and yes it is somewhat unreliable

I pulled the whole process from here - I've never used automagic, but this should help you out.

Start Button/Taskbar/NavBar Color?

does anybody know how to:
1) disable/change the gradient color of navbar
2) disable/change the gradient the start button when pressed
??
I've been messing with both Microsoft\Color\SHColor & GWE\SysColor but still couldnt find anything that'd affect the white gradient

Did you use the App i linked?
i use it and i have wm6 as well..
you can change about anything with this...
oh yes Ive tested it. It's basically what I've been playing with in syscolor, only difference being it is easier to edit in uitweak as I don't have to find the hex in syscolor blob. It still doesnt do what I want
I want to get rid of the following white gradient....it might even be a bitmap overlay...:

}
Also, I'd love to get rid of the start button text, as well as app titles on the task/navbar. So far I haven't found any solution in system level. I know this can be done in the code level.

reinstall the theme again. it looks like the theme was deleted during rebooting.
Just replace the SystemUI.apk via Root Explorer, or whatever you have.

Maybe you got connected but didn't hang up? The bar turns green when you're in a call and want to go back to the home screen. Try it, make a call to someone, and during the call, press the home button. You'll go back to the homescreen but the bar will turn green letting you know you're still in a call.
Edit: After looking at your screenshot again, I was correct. You were still in a call. If you look in the notification bar, you can still see the green "Phone" icon which indicates your call is still connected.

It always shows up green when I am on a call, but in another screen. To test it, call someone, then hit the home button & see if its green @ the top. You may not have thought it was connected, but the phone did.....as witnessed by the phone symbol in your status bar.

Aokp users led notification light

Found a trick to the led notification inside the ROM control area. If you would like to change the color of your LED notification do not use custom colors to the left only use the slider to the right and then set them.
The slider to right is the colorful one

I have pretty much tried every single color and it works pretty well some colors more then others.

What's the difference between Set and !!!? So all you do to change the color of yours is use the slider on the right... do you need to then touch the right-hand color swatch, the Set button or !!! so it takes effect?

I can't seem to figure out how to get mine to show anything other than a yellowish color. I'm using the slider on the right and hitting set, but to no avail. Just attempting to get back the stock blue, much less abrasive.
EDIT: Unsurprisingly it turns out that I'm just dumb and was overlooking LED settings within other apps...Oops! OP recommendation works just fine. Thanks!
No problem and don't use the !!! Just click the new color and done like I said it's close to the color that you pick but not perfect. Some notifications automatically come out red on their own for example Facebook notifications etc. but system apps seems to be the color that you pick
After installing this on my phone the LED won't do anything when charging, fully charged. Any reason why? I tried light flow but its bugged for the S3 right now.

[Q] How to Hide Soft Navigation Keys

Just became an owner of the new Nexus 7. The soft navigation keys that are part of the OS take so much screen real estate.
Is there a way to hide/unhide them?
Is there a specific rom or launcher that has that option?
Thanks.
Team eos has this option. You could permanently disable them and use LMNT. Which are like the browser quick nav buttons.

I assume the blue part of your image is what you refering to as lmnt? Can it be recalled on demand and hidden when not needed?
I also see the soft keys on the bottom of your image. They can be disbled in this rom, right? А

Yes you swipe from the left or right to draw them out. And yes team eos had the ability in the power menu selecting "system bars mode" will disable/enable them.

I only found HideBar by Pieter Pareit; are we talking about the same app?
Has anyone developed a way to customize the bottom System Bar? Add / remove icons?

Sort of ... but its better to have it built into the ROM then using an app.
Um yeah? Its called every ROM that uses aokp or Cm10 framework LOL.
Are you for real? Its hardly noticeable, it uses very minimal real estate and hides itself when it needs it (the real estate) the most.

I personally use GMD GestureControl. It allows you to set various multitouch/singletouch gestures. I have it set up so that 4 finger swipe up hides the status bar and the softkeys. In addition, 4/5 finger pinch closes current app (emulates home button), 4/5 fingers left or right scroll through recent apps (these gestures are stolen from iPad)
