My phone behaves weirdly , it turns off alarms, starts DND at odd timings automatically restarts and even opens random apps .
Please help this has irritated me and has even made me late to work.

Actually the problem is that my galaxy s4 is waking up or i can say unlocking automatically ..When phone is locked, something wakes it up.When I am using the phone it blinks, showing the clock briefly and returns to what I was busy with (not even 1 second)
also when i am in middle of call , the phone sometimes disconnects itself ........... these things happen more often when phone tries to connect to the internet.....when i disable the mobile data , everything becomes fine...
my galaxy s4 is rooted with stock rom....its i9500 octa core.
I am also facing the same prob. Tried a lot to find out the culprit but couldn't. Did u find what is causing this?
I'm having a sporadic problem with my xcover that i cannot diagnose. It happens very randomly, sometimes a few times a day, sometimes only 1 time in weeks. The phone functions normally and at some point i cannot wake the screen anymore, and then shortly after it freezes to the point that i need to hard restart it. So when this happens, none of the buttons do anything, so for example if i get a call the phone will ring for a bit with the screen black, me unable to do anything, then after a few seconds it freezes (if i try to call me it goes to voice mail) or if the alarm sounds i cannot stop it only if i pull out the battery, it just keeps playing at full volume with a black screen which is not responsive to the touch.
It's very frustrating that i cannot save any logs because i have to restart the phone in order to use it, and by then the problem is gone. I eliminated all the apps, so its not an app causing this. And its absolutely nothing specific that i'm doing to it. One time i just woke it up, unlocked it, looked at the clock, locked it, and when i went to wake it up again after 2-3 minutes, nothing, gone, completely unresponsive. Also, if i plug it in it makes the sound that its charging. Waiting does nothing, i tried to let it be for more the half an hour and its still the same. And it goes without saying battery is draining a lot faster when its in this 'dead' mode.
The rom with which it happens is the pre-rooted S7710XXAMB6_S7710OXEAMB3-20130713 stock rom.
Anybody has any clue?

Maybe I try to reflash....

Shut down or reboot? Cuz they are two different things.
Shut down is when it turns off completely. Reboot is a restart.
And give us some more info about the device. Is it rooted or unrooted? Is it running stock or custom roms?
Stuff like that.

Im on stock non rooted for start second it happens when i try to call someone they get the call but when they answer nor s4 nor other person can hear it and then s4 shows a booting logo and stays there
But if someone calls me screen goes black i can only see notification bar saying that im receiveing a call and when other person drops the call black screen becomes screen you use to answer the call
also when i try to play google music music app youtube or other app that makes (sound) it crashes that app and system crashes sometimes
Hi there. I just bought a Note 4, 910F version, and i´ve been enjoying it a lot so far, but there´s something that it bothering me quite a bit. Everything was working flawlessly until a few hours ago when the phone starts turning the screen on, but stays in lockscreen mode, then the brightness goes to almost non viewable and stays that way. I try everything to make him go back to viewable brightness, but with no luck. If i unlock the phone sometimes the brightness comes back to normal and other times stays non viewable . . . . . . . . . . . and now comes the most weird thing of it all....the phone goes himself to task manager and starts force disabling/closing random apps. Sometimes only closes one, other times starts doing it to half a dozen ones and then all goes back to normal.
Anyone have any idea of whats causing this and why? Anyone experienced anything like this?
My phone is not rooted.

Ok, so i figured out what is causing the waking, but now i would like to know how to make it stop. It seems that it´s the Greenify hibernating the apps that is causing the lockscreen to wake, but it´s strange because on my S3 that never happened. Any ideas of why it´s doing it this way in the Note 4?

Guys since i've updated my Moto X Style to Marshmallow , the phone has started to hang a lot, sometimes i cant even see the screen when the phone rings, the battery life has gone to the dogs, and even after installing CM the problem stays please help me out
