AT&T Galaxy S8 Galileo Support - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S8 Questions & Answers

Does anyone know how to get the Galileo navigation system working on an AT&T Galaxy S8?
The spec sheet shows compatibility but I have been unable to receive positioning data from the Galileo network. Either the Qualcomm chipset does not support it or AT&T has disabled the feature.
The app I used: GPS Test by barbeauDev
Model Number: SM-G950U

Does European version Samsung Galaxy Note has NFC & 1700 band support?

Does European version Samsung Galaxy Note has NFC & 1700 band support? I am looking to buy this device from ebay and use it on T-Mobile USA. Can someone please advice. European version says NFC support optional. Does it mean chip is there but the current OS doesn't support it? I have seen 1700 band on the phone OS display that can be activated, but not sure this 1700 band is actually functioning, not just a place holder.
Please someone provide some info...thanks.
Short answer: No NFC, no 1700.
Slightly longer answer: The phone would still work on T-Mobile USA, but only on Edge. So data would be slow. Also NFC is normally located in the battery, so there is a chance it will be available down the road as an add-on. But I highly doubt it.
Someone from the same forum reported that the Netherlands version has 1700 band. He posted a link to the website from which he bought too, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=19078119&postcount=39
However, no confirmation if it's supported by an actual chip or just a placeholder like you said. And I think I saw somewhere that says the 4G LTE version in Korea supports 1700 as well - I can't remember where I saw it so don't get your hopes up (I want the Note too )

It's just the antenna that's located on the battery. The NFC chip is on the device itself (see for instance website nfc.cc).
If your device doesn't have the chip, then no NFC for you! ...regardless of the battery you use.

[Q] Which S5s support LTE on T-Mobile in the US?

I bought this G900 electric blue from pricebreak on eBay, and later noticed that there's no such model, "G900". I got a G900H, which doesn't appear to support LTE.
1. How do I test for proper LTE support? In About device -> Status -> Mobile Network type: HSDPA.
2. Which S5s support LTE? Phonearena doesn't list the G900H at all.

T-Mobile uses the following bands primarly for their 3G HDPSA+ and 4GLTE network:
1700 MHz and 2100 MHz. AWS 700 MHz will be rolled out by end of this year.
These are the models currently available. I don't see yours on gsmarena, so I would be weary especially since its eBay.

Shows the list of phone models and compatiblity with specific LTE channels.
In your case, based on the information provided, I recommend going for the G900T
Let me know if this helps.

[Q] Do SM-N9002 has an LTE support

I'm a chinese user of Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and I use SM-N9002, which sells in china only. Officially, this version does not support LTE, but according to CPU-Z, my cellphone use MSM8974 as its CPU, which support LTE. So here comes the question: which CPU version does N9002 use, MSM8974 or MSM8274, if 8974, how to use LTE on n9002?

carrier aggregation Samsung Galaxy S10+ F/FD models

anyone managed to get into and activate it
even with root, we can't use that menu
s10 exynos has crappy signals on t mobile
hoping i could change that
I have listed here Samsung S10+ EU-models supported combinations: https://cacombos.com/device?model=SM-G975F . EU-models doesn't support T-Mobile low band B71 so this could cause weak signal strength.
