That's really small issue. 6.0 on Moto X Force has also issue with wifi. When turned on and no AP to connect, stays off and drains battery even is turned off in status bar or settings.
Btw, I hope you reported that problem to Moto. I did for X Force and got answer. Hopefully it's fixed in upcoming 7.0. Yeah, 7.0 and some people over here are complaining that Z Play got only 7.1.1

I'm on 7.1.1 reteu and wait for bug fixes. How long must we wait? And if we on reteu, do we have to sideload, because the reteu channel don't get this tiny ota update? I think reteu get a full update, but is that working?

It's releasing slowly you will get within a week.(may)

I think you'll have to wait for someone to capture the OTA so you can sideload it, since reteu isn't involved in the soak test.

I'm not the only one with this problem. There are more people who have flashed over adb sideload on reteu phone. But we need the brasil us file and not retin, right?

The point is that reteu never get this update. If this stable the full update wouldn't fit to the soak test. We need this ota filw, otherwise we will get updates never again.

I also installed 7.1.1 by sideload on reteu. You mean we won't be able to return to a normal reteu firmware and get the updates? Not even installing a future reteu firmware by sideload?
(It doesn't worry me a lot, but I want to know it...)
Edit: reading again (my english is very... basic) I understand we need this new update, and when we have it installed we will be able to get new updates in our phones. Right?

I think so, if this ota version is the final 7.1.1 I think that this as full update in reteu channel maybe not fits to the old soak test, just for older 7.0er versions. But if we sideload this ota, then the future updates should working fine. Future small updates need then the final 7.1.1 version. The updates are like a chain, right? One must fit to another.

I saw Motorola's blog post, but my device doesn't have anything available yet. As a matter of fact, I still don't even have the updated Google Calendar 5.0. I'd rather see the Play Store offer it than install the APK manually. Not sure when that will happen.
Keep checking. I have 2 on hand. One received it immediately, the other kept saying your device is up to date. Checked a short while later and it was there
Any word on if this official OTA will be pushed to those of us running the leaked .5 Lollipop build? Or will we still need to downgrade to stock 4.4.4 to receive the update? Thanks!

This is what I want to know too. I know it just started rolling out, but does anyone know yet?
You have no choice but to downgrade back to 4.4.4 using the images Moto released yesterday. Instructions are available throughout the threads here. There is not going to be a .5 lollipop to the final version. Nothing will come OTA to your device. I took the time last night to flash back.

Is that actually confirmed by Motorola? Seems odd they would offer a soak test and then tell all the testers to go back to 4.4.4 (which is far more challenging) to get the official update.

Can you confirm that this OTA fixes the left-right audio channel swap present in headphones in soak OTA XT1068 (i.e. left audio channel is right and vice versa)?
The update is being downloaded... Will let you know asap buddy...
No joy there yet...

What about xt1063?
Hm... no update yet in Germany (XT1068). Ah, no... wait... I'm in Switzerland at the moment. ^^
That makes me wonder - based on what categories do they chose to which devices the update is rolled out first? MAC address?
these roll out's are so slow

Seems that the LTE version will be updated first, XT1068/64/63 will follow. And India comes first, europe is often one of the last regions. As far as I know they use the IMEI as a category.

Motorola should offer the update on her server. Google do this for her pixel phones, too. So what? There is the possibility to update over adb sideload, but no official zip files to update. But, this new update is not include 07/2017 security patch. So, do we really need this? We should wait for the next full update, stable release. That should be save to sideload, right? Full is the best.

Should I revert to stock recovery to be notified of the OTA?

Then wait one or two months for the full firmware and flash it via fastboot, then you don't need to unlock the bootloader, but it takes some time.
And I can tell you a short story, exactly the same thing was on Moto G4 plus with the soaktest and I the have unlocked the bootloader in this situation. One month later my Moto's motherboard died and Motorola won't repair it because the bootloader was unlocked and even not for money.
Just got the update on tkpca Canada.
