you are wright ,my update is also 6.01,but the phone is more responsive, the battery life is much longer, and i still waiting for 7.1

I'm guessing you live in the UK? The 7.1.1 update is available for us over in the US, but that's it for now. Europe is still in waiting.

Yes you guessed correctly! I am from the UK. I have seen a few websites saying download from here but it's the same 6.0.1 I just received. I guess I will just have to wait. Thanks.

Same here. Im from malaysia. Hoping for N on .0B12 update.

Hi
I come from Italy and I've purchased the 7 mini in March.
By OTA tells that the telephone is up-to-date, but I see the updating of December 2016 and not the B12 of January 2017.
I've downloaded the Axon7mini_B12(SD card software), of 2.06gb, with the instructions for updating; it suits me to perform the manual updating or to wait for an OTA that never arrives?
thanks for any help

If the update is for your model, you can update.
For B09 in Romania I had no OTA, but the update was available on ZTE website.
I have done the update (sd card method) and using it without any issue since months.

You can find all the updates here:
http://www.ztedevice.com/support
For Romania the last one is B09, but for Spain is B12.
Download the wanted zip file, extract it and you will have the firmware update and the update instruction.

B12 is not android 7 ,i have this version.

Yes, sure. Never said it is.
I have checked all countries from Europe for Android 7, but nothing for the moment, so still waiting.
I have tried Spain B12 version, but for me Romania B09 is better (personal opinion).

I've already been on http://www.ztedevice.com/support and there am no novelty for italy, rather it even foresees not the axon 7 mini among the supported products, also I'm in build b09.

I know that the B12 is not N yet, but it has interesting patch however, a direct link to the compatible download with italy interests me.

Thanks for the right-hand.
I've tried both the Spanish version of B12 and in the link that you propose me, but both give me this error:
-- Install /data/media/0/update.zip
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
Verifying update package...
E:footer is wrong
E:signature verification failed
Installation aborted
I don't have a SD card, therefore I've tried the option: Apply update from inner card!
but I believe is the same thing

Your update will fail due to the fact that the UK devices will only fully update using an official UK Nougat Update, it's due to the signature for the file being incorrect and not recognized by your UK device. It won't matter where you put the file, it won't work. Sorry.
This is why we're so annoyed at ZTE for not updating all at the same time and not being a caring company for its customers.

it is possible , the uk firmware is different from rest of europe....

Yes good sir, but as you have pointed out, your trying to install the 'Spanish' update and you have an Italian device, different countries, different authorisation certificates for the update, your device will be restricted to Italian update files only. Its the same as the UK trying to load the US file, it just doesn't work (or fouls up the install and bricks the phone).
Sorry buddy but you'll have to wait till your country's update comes OTA (via the proper update facility)
You do have my commiserations and sympathies as I think we are all waiting on it and ZTE doesn't seem to be caring much about the customer base it's going to loose.

extract the arhive and u will find inside another archive, that u copy on the root of the memory phone .after that it s easy search with mi favor ,i have installed in old school method, turn off the phone and enter inside with volume up and power up ,there clear the cache and install update.

Download ROM US Version
My device is the American version and it does not have the Portuguese language Brazil. I installed the rom global Europe, I did not like it since the android version is 6.0. How do I install the US rom back? In the site zteusa.com has only the rom of the Axon 7, does not have Axon mini.
Sorry for my English. Thank you all

Not sure if you know about it, but your phone is basically showpiece from showrooms or shops, that's the X in your version number. This kind of phones are not intended to be sold for customers.
You will never got more updates as you already have, so your only option is to flash it manually.
Bootloop problem is not dependant on software version. It doesn't matter if you have 5.1 or 6.0.

Do you have an accurate source to backup your wild claims?
My EU (UK) H815 v20d-EUR-XX is currently downloading the update.
No need for a manual flash and my device certainly was not a store demo model.
Hello,
My G4 is unlocked and ROOTED and the update is available and in downloading atm.
There are something I should to know about the fact that my smartphone ROOTED evening before applying the update?
Could this affect my G4?
Thank you! =D

Sure,
We are not talking about the same thing.
Look again, and maybe twice at his version number: It's is VX10c-EUR-XX
I'm not talking about XX, but about the first "X"... see?
Sure, your device is the same as mine v20d-EUR-XX which is a retail model, but this is not the case for VX10C-EUR-XX which is unfortunately a demo model
Ok, finally, it seems that I can't update automatically with a G4 ROOTED.
When I launch the update this message pop "phone restarting"
Then boot directly on TWRP... (>_<)
So obviously I can't execute this update automatically... :'(

Off you can't. You have another recovery. Use LG UP and flash it. Easier can't be. Note you will lose root and the recovery.

Me too same model. I don't know what they're talking about. Store models can't even make calls and this deters people from trying to steal them.

Go to thread about the Portugal update and download the KDZ from there. Any link from that thread is the international H815 update. Don't worry about countries and shenanigans is the same firmware for all. V20g-EUR-XX. Install LG UP on your PC. First the DLL then the program. Place the KDZ in your LG UP install directory (Crogram Files (x86)/LG Electronics/LGUP/model/8994). Put your phone in download mode. (With phone turned off press Volume UP and with it press plug in the USB cable). Click refurbished option for a complete wipe and clean flash. Before all this make a backup. You can also select upgrade option to avoid wipe but I always recommend a clean flash. Read the according threads in XDA for further information if you need.
It seems the h818p will not be updated(yet)?
@src151 thanks for the info. I didn't knew that demo phones can have the GSM module. At least I got it at a very good price
I will upgrade manually then.

In order to concentrate all the discussion in one thread, I started this one, so please let's try to keep all info in one place!
For those who have your devices with root, please use the rollback packages to go back to b131 and relock your bootloader (necessary?!) before trying to update.
If you haven't receive the update notification yet, try to force it via the HiCare app:
- Make sure you have the latest version of the HiCare app
- Go to services
- Choose the option to early adopters (if you don't have this option, go to Me > Settings > Location and choose another nearby location and try again)
- check if there is a notification of a new update
- accept and follow the instructions
- if everything is ok, you should get the notification update on the update app
If you haven't receive the update yet, don't panic, as always, not everyone receives the update at the same time, we should only expect it to come out on February, so if we are getting it now we can only be patient and happy
For those who don't want to wait for the update via Hicare/Updater, check this thread that can help you getting the update using Charles app method.
PS: It's not mandatory, but it's recommended to do a backup before the update (via HiSuite) and perform a factory reset after the update!
PS2: It's always kind to say thank you! by words and pushing the Thanks button bellow

My phone (used in the USA) is L29C185B180, and it shows a BUNCH of updates. Full & OTA.
I've downloaded and unpacked...but it's hard to drop the hammer and install. All of Huawei's

to "officially" release it on their software updater.

I first installed NXT-L09C432B560 v74088 with Firmware finder for windows, then I installed the OTA update dated 03.01.2017 and filesize 431mb from Firmware finder from the phone. If you are going to install from phone, i would install the largest OTA dated 03.01.2017, then the smaller OTA with the same date after that. I tried installing one of the OTA's dated 20.01.2017 and ended up with test-keys build, had to downgrade to be able to flash the proper one.
Dear developers, My set was on NXT-L29C636B211 and I have successfully download the latest B521 firmware ,unpack and dbload created just need some confirmation before flash the firmware.
I would to know it's an official firmware ,warranty status and will it get any OTA in the future ?

I have bootloader unlocked and root. Do I need to relock bootloader in order to use this method?
I was on L29C636B221 with rooted and TWRP. I used the Firmware Finder app to download L29C636B521 and update it to Nougat. It updated fine. I wanted to do a factory reset so I did. Half way through, reset was failed, but the phone was able to boot in. Now, it has no Gboard (sideloaded it fine) and the Build Number is NRD90M test-keys. Everything else work fine.
Any suggestion? should I dload it back to L29C636B221?
I can't get it to work. Here is a video of what I did start to finish.
https://youtu.be/T1A825NI2wQ
I tried the 2 560 and the 520 ones using the firmware finder and proxy add-on. The update doesn't start downloading until you switch off the local host proxy setting. Once it is complete and it reboots to update it fails at 1% and I reboot back to my 320 firmware.
I have l29c185b320 firmware currently.

Germany, LTE version, BTV-DL09C100B303 received OTA on July 19 ... it was a long wait :good:
I received my new U S m3 model about 2 weeks ago. As soon as I went online it offered the new nougat update. I updated and everything works fine.

This is the current information.
As I said, before that I used the same version (dont know the custome version) but installed via huawai firmware updater
Thanks. What is interesting for me is that you have the same custom version. Because i read somewhere else that this custc100d002 version won't get an update. Ok, your update path seams to be not standard but there is still hope that i will get an update also...

My device also has version CUSTC100D002. Like I posted above, got it OTA.
I'm in germany and have no OTA Update until now.
Hello to everybody. I bought my M3 with LTE a month or two ago from Amazon DE however I live in Bulgaria(I use UK local settings for the tablet). I'm still at BTV-DL09C100B009 with which it came and I'm not getting any OTA updates. I keep it without SIM because my two cards are in my mobile phone and I don't need one for the tablet in everyday usage. I only use data-only SIM with it when I travel.
Anyway I moved one of my SIM's from my phone to the tablet in the hopes I would get the update and then return it back but still nothing. I even installed the latest HiSuite but even there it says I'm on the latest official build. Am I missing something? Why am I not getting the official update and is there a way to install it manually(FirmwareFinder perhaps? and how to differentiate it from the previous file with the same version)? Also from what version did you receive your updates when they came?
I would appreciate any help.
Best regards,

ZTE Axon 7 | A2017V

Soo, I got my ZTE Axon from Aliexpress and it is the Chinese version.
Is it possible to install official EU Android 7 firmware or CFW of any kind?

Yeah, though keep in mind that your phone is an A2017, not A2017V. It should say A2017 on the back.
You can install EU or US firmware but you need to unlock the bootloader, install TWRP, and modify some EU or US flashable zips. Basically you have to get the NHLOS.bin from an official A2017 update and put it in the G or U flashable zip.
Keep in mind that MiFavor 5 is much better (for me at least) than stock G or U firmware, which are MiFavor 4.2. MF5 is only for the A2017, and while some people think it's sort of a cheap design and stuff, it IS better than 4.2 (you get quick settings tiles for example, instead of the crappy zte implementation). I advice you to try it first before even unlocking. Just find the official update package 'A2017V2.0.0B13' or just MiFavor 5 B13.

I don't know, I absolutely despise Chrome
For me Firefox Nightly with Dark Background and Light Text plugin is perfect

Yes we all had this issue and other issues related to Google Play Services and its coordinate apps not working correctly and not syncing also crashing a lot and and we finally found the solution.
Disable Google service it prompts you that it will return to factory version and accept it and then enable again and update Google Services again from Play Store.

That's neither official nor for the A2017  If you unlocked your phone and flashed that you would lose your IMEI.
Go to Updates and see if it detects any OTA. If it doesn't I can search for an update package for you

I found a package if the OTA system doesn't work
http://devicedownload.zte.com.cn/support/product/201606031040/sd/20171009174830988.zip
Download that file and unzip it. There will be a file called "update.zip" and maybe a pdf inside. Take the update.zip and put it in the root of the internal storage. Then go to settings -> Updates, and it should detect it. Install it

I uploaded the "update.zip" from your link, but my phone does not seem to find it (not in the internal memory, not in the SD card.) The phone is not rooted nor unlocked.
Right now I have this:

Just install that OTA. After it installs, go there again and you will either receive another OTA or the phone will find the update.zip
I thought you weren't receiving any OTAs, but it seems that they still work on the A2017s
Maybe your phone can't detect it because you are on a very old version. That's Marshmallow right?
