Free YouTube background! Android 7 tips - Android Software Development

Simple trick and seems to be a hole in the android system 7.1.2
YouTube runs in the background if we start the apk, we minimize and launch the music from the remote control in the headset:>
Working in Xiomi Redmi note 3 & Oukitel K6000 plus.

Here's a video about how to play YT in background with no ADs for No Root & Root users. Hope it will help...

I would like to know which versions, of those APPs for Android-TV that you have tested, do you think that are working better on the 2nd Gen. Fire-Tv?
Could you please post the APK download links for the following APPs:
- YouTube Android TV
- Play Muisc Android TV
- Play Movies Android TV
- Dolphin Browser
- VLC Android TV
Do you know of any other APPs for Android-TV, that could work on the Amazon Fire-TV?

What is the version / date for the ES File Explorer APK? One techie reviewer noted back in 2014 that it contained a virus - so I have been reluctant to install it. This app after all gets access to almost everything within the box. Can some give me a warm fuzzy feel for this app?
On a separate note - can someone suggest an App that will access my DLNA NAS Server?

Ignore the request for the DLNA Player
Found one just now - called UPnPlay - very simple, fast and gets the core job done and I like apps that stick to that principal. And everything works just with the FTV2 remote !!!
Once you find the video, it can push it to my Samsung SmartTV (the TV popped up a message asking if to "Allow" / "Deny" request) ... or use the VLC app. I used the VLC app and its FAST !
I wonder if VLC has a way to fetch it directly?

You can download ES File Explorer at Amazon Fire TV's AppStore from the search bar or by Voice ( It was allowed by Amazon so I think it safe )

Xfinity TV
Travel Channel
HGTV Channel
DIY Network
Visual Anatomy
CNN
IMDB
Data Counter Widget (great app to get a peek at bitrates of video streams)
Speedtest App
Set Orientation (needed for some side loaded apps)
UPnPlay
Actual Movie Trailers
Wifi Analyzer
I don't use Kodi - everything I needed was available via the Sideloaded technique.
I dowloaded the App Organizer from Amazon FireTV App Store ($2.50) ... incredible useful but plain looking app - it allows me instant access to native and side loaded apps via folders I set up. Thats my main interface since the FireTv makes you go through several clicks to jump from TV to Apps etc. When you install this app just make sure you go and change the single-click preference to "Launch"

The current version on Google Play ... I have to use the wireless K400 keyboard. One the video starts, the original remote allows you to pause and play the video. I am fine with that.
When I installed the youtube app (android tv), the casting stopped working. Is there any workaround this?
i'm in the uk and would add : mediahhh, mobdro, uk tv now, tube+ (youtube alternate), showbox, vimeo, soundcloud, mixcloud, netflix, ted, and tunein radio to the list of essential apps.
I've plenty of devices for browsing the web & the like so I've got my firestarter powered fire tv stick only running media apps ... to think I nearly binned it on ebay before i'd discovered the firestarter front-end & the fire utility app. *facepalm*
Downloads you ask?
http://mediahhh.com/
https://www.mobdro.com/
http://showboxpc.be/
http://livetvapp.tv/ - UK TV now (requires mx player or vlc)
the others are out there - from the usual sources.

Youtube App - Pausing Videos & Reading Comments

My two biggest issues with the YouTube app are the following:
Pausing a video leaves this big obstrusive overlay up on the screen and dims the video in the background. Often times I wish I could see the frame of video I've paused it on.
Why is there no way to read the description or comments? Ideally I'd like to read and write comments but I'll settle for at least being able to read the description and comments. I've tried side-loading various YouTube apks I've found with no success.
Side-loading the latest (non-leanback version of) YouTube resolves my first issue.
I'm dual-booting the stock ROM and zulu99's Full Android Marshmallow ROM from a USB HDD. In the same exact version I've installed of YouTube onto Full Android, I can view descriptions and comments. So why doesn't that version, side-loaded, work similarly in the stock Android TV ROM? Is there a way to tweak it, maybe through xposed, to get descriptions/comments to display?

Try 220 DPI for Youtube app with Xposed or flash that rom.

Wow... No one even decided to say that they've used up all the codes (-_-)...
Anyways, I tried your free version on my Nexus 5 and it works pretty well! It does drain the battery a lot more than I thought it would though.
Anything with a 3d environment background is a drain on the phone battery (overheats it too)
I personally use vr players with no background or 3d surroundings. All you need is the video screen.
Hello sir,Expried codes..please share new...
Did you make this with Unity3d?
If so, could you add this https://github.com/m-tukiok/UnityPluginDisplay4k to it, please? Even if you have to make it into a different version of the app.
I'm willing to pay for the pro version and make a donation if you do!
I'd love to have a native 4k VR player for my XZp that doesn't require messing with adb.
VU showing video that is mismatched positionally on right and left eye
hey fam.i am using a tecno camon cx air and i am having an issue in that the video on the right is not exactly the same in positioning/mismatch as the video on the other eye causing some blur and uncomfy viewing experience.what can i do?i am using VU pro latest versionconfused:
check out my twitter @Kay_e_veemusic i will show you a screenshot of my screen, i can't post a link here since i am new..will appreciate your help
It's a shame the codes are expired this deserves five stars for sure! I have a couple of feature requests:
Please add the ability to play network videos! It is essential that I can launch videos to VU Cinema from a file manager (total commander in this case) the same as any other video player. It would also be nice to be able to browse network videos from within the app.
Bluetooth controls need to be refined. Please add the ability to either map the controller or add basic seek and volume controls to the D pad. Sometimes it is easier to tap forward a couple times to relocate my place in a movie than try to navigate the very inaccurate seat bar. The only app I have seen tackle VR controls well (and I've tried them all) is VR Theater by coach games. If you were to merge the graphics from VR Cinema with similar gamepad controls to VR theater it would be the perfect app!!!
Please continue development it's really great! ?
[Just purchased, well worth it]
On one plus 5, After the update 5.0.4 it has stopped working.video screen is blank while pictures can be seen.kindly help on it.

Youtube Vanced will do the work, install Vanced microG if you need to login to your account. PiP Youtube Vanced tested on realme 2 pro. It is not ideal by any means, but you can remove or disable Youtube afterward if necessary. Kindly set Vanced as default app so any youtube link can be redirected to Vanced.
