I recently flashed ZUI v2.5.358ST TWRP, The ROM is really great, the only problem i am facing is that the mic volume is very low during calls and even while recording my voice through the voice recorder app. Is there any way to increase mic volume?
btw my phone is rooted .
Any help would be really appreciated.

Guys I need help in fixing my inbuilt mic. Volume is very low and friends on other side are unable to listen anything. Though it is working when I use Skype, viber or recording.
This happens few days after upgrading to KitKat and didn't solved after 4.4.2 upgrade. Let me know how to fix this.

Just thought I'd chime in and say I have the same problem after the update to KitKat... Bummer
When recording the voice with whatever software there's no issue but callers say I sound very low/very far away from the mic. No difference between using the phone's mic or using a wired headset. Have yet to test a bluetooth headset (I do not have one).
I'm on Nexus 4, stock rom, 4.4.2. Any tips or ideas would be appreciated.

My problem is the following:
I updated my Galaxy S4 i9500 for CM13 6.0.1 Optimized
It worked okay, just a few bugs in the camera, but my biggest problem is being in the microphone volume is very low, and this problem had in my old update that was the lollipop, but in Lollipop I activated Speakerphone and wore it well
Now the CM13 to the speaker the audio goes down, WhatsApp recordings come down
I've been looking at that mixer_patch.xml file, but do not know where I can try to change some value there to see if I can solve my problem

It's not that the volume is very low, mic volume is fine, it's just that any mm/lp rom that's not tw uses the second mic (the one on the upper side of the phone) instead of the first mic. In calls everything works fine, but in voice recording apps like ok google or whatsapp is not.
So then, how to fix the mic problem? Is there any way to switch the first and second mic using a kind of config maybe?
Can any one fix low microphone sensitivity on linageos Rom based rom... the microphone sensitivity is too low and cant even make a call or record sound... I tried changing some values in system/etc/mixer_path but it dont fix the problem....hope someone will fix.
Bro I am using dotos for grand 2 and installed a magisk modules "Android Mic Fix"

Hello, I have a problem with my Cool 1 C103. People are complaining that don't hear me well. Low sound volume and bad quality on my voice. Does somebody has the same issue and can it be solved by installing custom rom or something? Thanks!
Hi guys, why do instagram on my rooted Mi A1 has some problems such as when I try recording story, the qualities of my voice audio is so bad. I have to increase the volume max then I can hear it clearly. Same as whatsapp from playstore too but gb version is fine. Is this causing of bug or what? Anyone has same problem as mine? Really need some help to fix these problem. Thanks
