Hi everyone, im trying to root my lg k580H
I already follow a lot of tutorials, but nothing worked.
I think i get a great progress on this tutorials.
-bootloader unlocked
I followed the g5 method
Then I follow this one:

Then when i get in to download mode it saids done, but I use Root checker and it said Your phone is not properly rooted.
Someone can help me?
Im not a developer, just someone who wants root acces.
I have the same problem, but I think we never could have root on the LG x cam

I used the method here nexus10root.com. He doesn't tell you but you will bootloop after you unlock the boot loader. Visit the Youtube Channel of qbking777 and watch his tutorial for how to get out of the bootloop. After doing what qbking777 said, I finished rooting with the instructions at nexus10root.com. My only problem was that CWM does not stay on the N10 as the recovery so I flashed TWRP and all has been great ever sense. For ease of use I say WuFresh's method is easiest, but I just like to do things myself and know exactly what it is I am doing and not depending on a tool. That way if I screw up I know exactly what it was that happened. Good luck.
Searched all over the net and only found sites with fees to send unlock codes.
I also found out that I can unlock my LG through a software or hardware (dunno) called Octopus Box.
I rooted my phone thinking they might have an android app that unlocks the phone but no luck.
Is there any other way? Please help.

install driver on pc and follow the guide from pc
after root install SUPERSU! not superuser.
find it on play store, remember to reboot!
Hello, I have the TMobile lg-g2 4.2.2 d80110c, I have tried my best and followed all of the guides I could in this forum and others, but never succeed in rooting my phone.
I have the stock rom and cant go into recovery, only hard reset, and when using ioroot my phone just restartes.
When using another root guide, the cmd window just closes after a few seconds, there was even one in which I got all the way to the end and installed superuser only to find out with rootchecker that I didn't actually succeed in the rooting proccess.
towelroot does not work either, neither does any guide i found on the internet.
I have also tried to soft reset the device and then try to root it but again I arrived at the same results.
Does anyone have any idea of why this isnt working for me? or what am missing?

Did you already unlock the boot loader?
No variant of the lg g2 has an unlockable bootloader all g2s are Loki patched very little difference but its not a good idea to confuse the two you can end up with a brick you should try reflashing the stock ROM maybe there is something weird going on

I think towel root is not working for you because you are on 80110c. IOroot unfortunately does not work on the T Mobile D 801. Try updating to at least 80110g. You will need the AutoRec apk to install custom recovery http://www.droidviews.com/install-twrp-recovery-on-lg-g2-running-android-4-4-2-kitkat/

Firstable i unlock the Bootloader and FDR.
after that i nstall new drivers to my PC. then i run CMD there problem starts..ADB - out of date killing..I fixed but when i copy TWPR in to the CMD that telling me the Failed problem with a partition.
I as well try king root ,kingo root from pc and from android phone too..
Always frozen by 1% king root. Kingo root 90% black screen and as well teling me there is virus.
Anyone can please spend some time and help me?

but with some reason when i installing Magisk zip and rebooting system doesnt shows in a phone and root checker telling me the phone is not root.
Any advice what im doing wrong please?Thanks!
I"m finding it impossible to find anything on rooting the LG Stylus 2.. I know it's an old phone but I'm hoping someone out there has a solution to this..
I've tried Kingo Root. Both the App and PC version fails to root the phone.
This phone is running Android 7.0.
I've rooted phones before. The last one I rooted was a Blackview BV6000 which was very easy to root using Smartphone Flash Tool and a root file.

does anyone even know how to unlock the bootloader.. The known method using adb doesn't work. Either does the method listed on their website.. It all requires you to boot into your bootloader which I can't get into.
