P9 lite's screen brightness dimming when i open games - Huawei P9 Lite Questions & Answers

When i open a game the screen brightness of my phone is automatically dimming. This is only happening when i open games.
The difference of the brighness in games is not so huge but it still annoys me (specially if we consider P9 Lites "meh" brighness level)
Is there anybody who is facing this problem? I would really appreciate if anyone could suggest a solution.

i have the same problem when i get in chrome.

Its not the problem,its mode
Go to phone manager>battery> and set performance mode and there will be no dim screen

Unfortunately there isn't an option of setting the performance level on Android 7.0.
Or at least i can't find it on the Battary Manager

My firend is also using P9 Lite and he is also having the same problem on the games.
Is it a some kind of software bug?

We both use the same version. I would actually like to rollback to MM but can't find any files of my build. (C464)

sth isnt letting your phone go deep sleep
Have oxygen and i also have awake line. Dont know what held X5 awake.
Same problem here.. Maybe some backgroud proceses.
WiFI was left on, but I think it should be automatically closed on standby. Im using Oxygen rom without kernel modification.
The application that usualy prevents phone from deep sleep is stock Email.apk application.

This is not standalone app. Its integrated in System menu. Go Settings > About phone> Battery use and there you have it. Im talking for Oxygen ROM but I think its the same.

can't view livejournal

can somone please try the Livejournal main page link on their N7?
http://www.livejournal.com/
this is what it looks like on pc
this is what it looks like on the N7
i've tried Chrome, Maxthon and Dolphin browsers, both mobile and desktop modes and it doesn't seem to render the page correctly...i haven't accessed the site in quite a while, but it all used to work on Gingerbread and Honeycomb...i don't have an ICS device to test with, my Galaxy Nexus is also on JB and it also displays the page incorrectly
i'm wondering if there is some setting i need to enable (thought i've tried everything) or if it's just the site itself that's messed up
Here's what it looks like on mine using the stock Chrome browser:

thanks for checking...though it doesn't really help me because i too am using the stock Chrome browser, at least now i know that it's not like that for everyone and the problem is at my end
are you rooted? i am...is there any reason that may make a difference?
Not rooted, no, and don't know what difference it could make. Though I wouldn't expect any browser to work particularly differently on a rooted device, but I'm no expert.

can anyone else maybe shed some light as to why a rooted device can't view a website properly?

wifi priority

Hey everyone
I think I already configured this once, but I do not remember if it was on my old phone or on my beloved G2. Is there a possibility to set the wifi priority, so that my ssid A is chosen over ssid B? If not, which app would you recommend? Hope my english is good enough to let you understand my question i m very tired
Thx for the replies.
Settings -> WiFi -> Advanced Wi-Fi -> Manage networks
You can arrange priority in stock.

So, I just got an update notification on my Boost Aquos Crystal

Is this a stage fright patch? Or a lollipop update? I rather stay on kitkat since lollipop was a mess. I use it as a wifi device and its never been connected to Boost.
Here's the end result
The update hangs quite a bit around 77%-90% (phase 1) then it goes into phase 2 and finishes the update.
strange I can't find info about this patch ..
are you seen something new after update?

me neither. if you can tell by the timestamps on my screenshots i was looking all over the place. it is snappier but that could be a placebo. also, i don't know about call quality or mobile data since i basically use it as an iPod.

I search in sharp and sprint webpages but there still show s4081 as last update.. for now I will not update my phone bcs I don't want to waste my chances to unlock bootloader or root if some one find a way...
Maybe???
I just got it too my phone won't install it cause me battery is to low but, I'm pretty sure its a patch to fix the multimedia message problems . too small of a file to be lollipop .or maybe it's a straight to SD patch idk probably one of the two..lol.
Just updated. Touch feels more responsive but it usually does after an update. Here's to hoping it doesn't crap out again.
Compared to the last build it has a new kernel. So far the only thing I've noticed, is that instagram doesn't auto play video with sound, (finally!) like it should. Before it would blast the speakers whether you tapped on the video to turn off/on sound.
It fixed my MMS problems.

Overclocking Black Shark 2 China Rom

Got the BS2 with the China Rom, I can't seem to find the option that I've seen on video reviews where they overclock the device.
Is it missing on the Chinese Rom?

I think you are talking about the shark space/ludicrous mode. It's the game mode that's started when you flick the side switch on the phone

I haven't seen an option for that either but given that it's a special mode which you can only exit when flicking the switch again and when activated it tells you that it's freed up the RAM I suppose it automatically activates game centric clock rates.
Furthermore I don't remember reading about being able to overclock the phone on their homepage just about ludicrous mode.

Hi, I have the global version which I'm not sure if it is the same.
Flick the switch on the side for shark space, load your game, swipe to the centre from one of the top corners, click game studio and here you can adjust the settings. Hope this helps. I can do some screenshots of you need them as it's hard to explain
After entering the game
1. Click on the menu in the picture.
2. You can access the overlock settings in the menu.
