Battery charging - Huawei P10 Plus Questions & Answers

Hi guys i wonder if anyone can help. I have saw youtibe videos showing p10 plus charging with supercharge from 0-100% in about 1hr 40mins average. What are your average charging times? I think either my handset or charger is faulty. It does charge quick to 50% about 30-40mins and it slows down after that which i know is normal but as soon as it hits about 90-92% its taking 45mins plus to go to 100%. In total with supercharge my phones is taking about 2hrs 15mins + to charge from dead to 100%. With supercharge technology that cant be right. Also to point out i dont use my phone wen its charging therefore im not slowing the process down. Please help. Thanks

From my experience it takes about 90-100 minutes from almost empty to 100%.

i get it full in about 90 mins
Typically, my phone charges from 0 - 50 % in about 20 mins.. that being said.. its OFF.
when its on, add 50%. when in airplane mode, add 25%
0 - 100%
OFF: 78 mins
ON: Airplane: 102 mins
ON Data / wifi: 128 mins.
Hope that helps.

Next time when you charge your phone, wait until the green LED turns off (indicating that the battery is 100% charged). Then take off the battery and insert it back, turn on the phone and charge again. The battery may be displayed as low as 75% and it will charge to 100%. Not sure why this is the case, but it works for me.
same thing happened to me right now.. phone was charged full 2 hrs ago.. just checked it was showing red light( battery zero!) wasnt able to do anything.. its charging now... beyond understanding!!

Battery 60 %, turns off, battery 1 %, plug into usb, charging 60 % (nFinityGB 1.13)

Ok, now it is almost every other day the phone turns off without any reason (when indicating 80 %, 64 %, 32 %, does not really matter). After switching on, it says 1 % or 0 %. After connecting to usb or charger, it starts charging from 30 % or 56 % or whatever. This way the phone really starts being unusable (just can't rely on that it won't switch off anytime). :-(
I really think the main problem is battery indicator, maybe with charging, charges incredibly slow usually (like +20 % in three hours).
I use HSDPA, but no wifi, no GPS (even if I did, it would not explain sudden drops in battery indicator).
I would say it could be somehow connected to nFinityGB several versions ago when there was that problem with charging. Should I do some full wipe - would that help?
If so, could you point me to some thread about what and how should I backup first?
Any help greatly appreciated.
Or may it be that battery is really dead and to be replaced?
No, its a glitch many are experiencing. My battery was 40%( after 2 hours) and phone died, on reboot it was 0%. Could be the battery but more likely a software fault id say.

Well, I tried and bought a new battery (non-original 1300 mAh) and my phone works incredibly well now (running nFinityGB v1.13 ROM).
Most of all, no switching off, works reliably for the whole time. What time you ask?
Well, it lasts 50 - 60 hours of normal usage every time (no wifi, no bluetooth, no gps, but 3G on all the time with some background pushes, some calls, messages, mail answering and web browsing, no gaming obviously - what could I really play on tattoo and why? ;-).
I was planning to buy Samsung Galaxy SII but now I really do not have reason to.
Just to say that problem was entirely in old battery so replacing it solved everything.

Battery Sensor

Hi
Yesterday i install and run this program http://sourceforge.net/projects/netspoof/ for about 30-40 seconds, my phone was showing 60% battery. After 40 sec my phone was burning and i got the red led. Try to boot but nothing. Put the phone to charge and after a few minutes, he start to boot. Let him charge for 30 minutes @ 55%, reboot the phone and after that it was showing 30% charge. Left the phone 40 minutes to charge and it was showing full, reboot and then showing 40% watch him charging, the phone was jumping from 40% to 45% to 52% etc. Some help please.

[Q] Phone dying suddenly.

I am having issues with my battery. It drops fast from 100 to 75 in 30 mins and them holds well till 30 during which time I can get 2:30hours of screen on time. After that when it gets to 20% the phone suddenly turns off without warning. I tried recall calibrating battery by fully charging, then bump charging it to 100 and then let it fully fall and then turn it on and let it fall. And then fully charged it but still it dies around 20% mark.
What should I do?

Note 3 BATTERY ISSUE !!!

Every time I charged my phone to 100% after I unplug the cable it goes to 85% in 30 minute ~ 1 hour, after that it acts normally !!! so could anyone explain to me that ?!!
Plus it takes too much time to charge from 95~100% maybe 45 minute to get that 5%, but it only takes 1 hour and 30 minute to get to 95%
so I just want to know if it does related to a H/W Issue or a S/W
If you are rooted try to calibrate or totaly discharge battery then charged to 100.
If you got same results replace battery
