SMS From Field

Ok Experts.
Let me see if I can explain this strange occurance.
My bank sends me sms's at times.
What is happening is that when I open up the SMS the from field lists a name from my address book that has nothing to do with the SMS itself.
Has anyone had this occurance?

Gmailing screen shot

I am aware of the old problem with gmail not liking sending attachments. Seems it is still here. Has anyone been able to gmail a Nexie screenshot (from the notification window)? Used to be, the email would get stuck in an outbox forever. Sending from the notification bar, I can't find any hint of it after I sent it.
Anyone tried this? Got it to work?

Odd. I just tried to send an attachment and it worked perfectly.
