Discount on Tab S3 at Dell - Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 Guides, News, & Discussion

Dell has the S3 discounted to 499$ on their site this morning. I ordered mine on Friday but saw this and they are giving me the discount. Yay.
Dell.com:good:
Manufacturer part SM-T820NZKAXAR
Dell part A9609927
Market Value $599.99
Dell Price $499.99
Free shipping too.

Went through Samsung to get my S3 as I actually have a use case for the physical keyboard. Andif it turns out to be less useful, there's always Ebay.

Now that the new iPad Pro 10.5" has been announced, it's hard to think this is a coincidence.

It wouldn't be worth it even if you could get someone in the UK to ship to you as the Samsung cashback can only be claimed in the UK and only one plus it uses the registration details when first set up according to the conditions. Surely you would get import duty plus the high cost of postage would bring it in line with us prices ? Plus any issues would need shopping back to the uk ...
Xpansys in the US are selling at $499 which works out at £314

I picked up on this deal a week ago when I got John Lewis to do a price match for me vs Tesco!
Crazy to see this tablet so cheap, it's brilliant! And sooooo much better than the Tab 2 10.1, which is nearly the same price!!!

No, the Tab 2 10,1 is also reduced:
Tab 2 10.1 = £238 - £50 Samsung Cashback = £188
Note 10.1 = £318 - 50 Samsung Cashback = £268
Not sure I'd say £80 difference is 'nearly the same price'.
These prices are valid at Tesco, Argos and John Lewis (at least)
Argos currently offering a free £10 gift card if you spend over £100 too (offer ends today!)

I had an email from Samsung saying that I could get £100 off if I sent in my old Nokia N95 8gb as I had purchased the S3, I registered as at the time Tesco didn't have the £318 deal, I was getting the note for 299 + my phone, I emailed in saying that it was a poor deal as my Nokia was still a useful phone and worth more than £20 to me, anyway to cut the story short the note has now been sent without me returning the phone all for £299.99 I sure as hell hope I can get the £50 cash back.

Agh, I paid 480 euros just a month ago and it seems I'm not even eligible for the cashback as I bought before the 24th. It's great for most but I'm feeling a bit annoyed that the price had gone this low already given that it had only just been released here. I was thinking prices might drop after Christmas which wouldn't be so bad, but it's ridiculous for those who bought a new product so recently.

All electronic products come down in price or better spec newline the same price. I bought back mine for 319 about week ago from Tesco.
Got the Galaxy Note 10.1 for £234.99 on Thursday at PC World with price matching at Tesco and Argos after £80 cashback
PC world price £399
Tesco and Argos £318
10% of £82 Rounded it down too £8 and adjusted till price to £310
had to buy a cover to qualify for £80 cashback so cheapest cover £4.99
Galaxy Note 10.1 for £234.99
This took a bit of arguing before they would accept their own price promise but got there in the end

Best Deals on Galaxy Note 10.1

I just thought that a thread dedicated to finding a great deal on this amazing tablet during the upcoming shopping season would be helpful.
I recently missed an opportunity to get the 32GB version for $349 plus tax, and the 16GB version for $399 plus tax. I would've jumped all over these deals, but I was too late... I figured a central location for people to report deals would be helpful to all! I can't wait to get my hands on mine.
So far the only deal I've seen is HH Gregg selling for $449 on Black Friday (16GB). I'm really hoping to get it for $399. I'm crossing my fingers that Amazon drops in to that price to best the competition.
I can't wait to join the community here!
Update: Best deal is at Amazon for $449 (one-day free shipping with Discover card, plus 5% cash back!).

I also read abt $399 deals but I guess they were fake. I really couldnt find it on B**tB*y or the other store. I finally bought one from A**zon for $604.99. It is 3G+WiFi 16GB.
Keep checking this thread on SlickDeals.net; it's continually updated. So far there are a lot of deal on the G-Tab 2 but not the Note. MacMall has the 16GB Note for $419.99 and the 32GB for $469.99 with free shipping (2-day if you belong to ShopRunner).

They weren't fake - it was a glitch on Toys-R-Us' website. They quickly shut that down. It was a deal that was supposed to exclude tablets, but when you added it to your cart it still applied the discount.
Also, the other deal was an error as well. Fry's meant to post a one day sale on the Tab 2, and instead posted a one day sale on the Note. So you could get the 32GB version for $349 through price matching at BB that day.
@barry - thanks! That's the best deal I've seen so far!

Good catch! Amazon does too, plus one day shipping free if you have a Discover card. Also you get 5% cash back if you use Discover, so that sort of lowers the price to around $425-ish, shipped. This will easily beat Mac Mall's $419 + tax! I may snag one now... Black Friday pricing doesn't seem to be much better from what I'm seeing.
Anyone suspect a better deal will be lurking out there before BF?

Bought one from Currys in the UK (note N8010)
Got them to pricematch another retailer bringing it down to
£312.90
They have an extra £30 rebate off when you buy any case (this is on top of Samsungs £50 rebate offer)
Purchased this for £12.99
Got cash back from a cash back site (topcashback) this confirmed at £9.19
Purchased on my credit card that gives 1% cashback £3.13
This makes me either very lucky or very sad but total sale price including the case will be £233.57 (aprox $375 including all taxes)
For those in the US, just saw white Galaxy Note 10.1 16GB at Costco for $429.
Unfortunately with tax the Costco deal is more expensive than most online retailers. NewEgg, Frys, Amazon, and Macmall have the 16GB for 449.99 and the 32GB for 499.99. I'm waiting for a better deal..

On a related note, for those who already own their Note and bought it at Future Shop, FS has extended their price protection on anything purchased on or after Nov. 2 to extend to the Jan. 6th (rather than being only 30 days of price protection). I got my $50 back yesterday. Just had to go into the store with my receipt, and have the credit card I used to make the purchase originally.

Note 8 for $299 at Staples in Mckinney Texas

Just thought the Dallas folks would be interested in this deal. At the Staples in McKinney, Tx of 121 and Custer, they are selling the Galaxy Note 8 16 GB for $299. I think in their inventory they tagged the Note 8 as a Tab 3 8.0. Good deal. Got rid of my New Nexus 7 and got the Note 8. You cant beat that price.

I got the same deal in Visalia, CA. Best Buy didn't have white in stock, so I went over to Staples and even though online it said $379 it rang up at $300.

I talked them into honoring the 15% coupon on Friday, they were out of stock, but mine is coming wed. for 255+tax.
Got one on 8/29 when they had the 15% off and the $10 bonus on each $50 eGiftcard deal. It was out of stock in store, so they ordered one online for me with price adjustment. There was a $16 instant coupon for online purchase that was applied after price adjustment making it even cheaper than in store. I paid $223 out of my pocket including tax (after deducting 3 $10 bonus GC). I should have saved another $10 if I did buy one more set of $50+$10 GC. Anyway, it was a good deal even before the $11.50 Staples rewards and $5 credit card cash back. The final cost would be less than $210 for me. What a steal.

Just wanted to chime in to add that this is not just a texas thing, and in some places at least still ongoing. I'm in DC, went to a staples downtown. The sales person told me note 8 was not in stock, since they didn't have it on display. I asked him to look up which stores do have it, provided him the item number from their website. Turns out the store DID in fact have it in the back, and it was indeed being sold for $299. Lol, he was surprised, but rang it up for me and all that. That price + 25$ google play credit which I had no trouble redeeming made for a quite happy purchase on my part.

if you want to save money on a new nexus 7....

Head to WWW.microcenter.com. they have the 32gb on sale for $199 right now.

Those of you that got the deal of price match and then $30 off at staples are lucky because according to the Staples price match they were suppose to deduct the $30 from the $269 price and then price match. Here is their policy on that, taken from their web site.
If you buy an item from us for $159 and you have a $30 coupon, the net price is $129. If another company’s price is $125, your price match would be $4 off our net price of $129. Dollars-off coupons will be proportionally deducted from the prices of items in your order.

That could be a sweet deal. Bestbuy price matches and is offering a $50 break on sprint phones. $149 at bestbuy would probably be the best deal sround.
From what I understand best buy won't give you a gift card if they price match it.
But it's worth a shot and the BestBuy deal was today only.

I was lucky. When I went in to pre order in Oct BB was out of their allotment for pre order at $299 and a $200 gift card. Once the GN4 was released they of course had none. I checked the website several times a day and the very last day for the $200 gift card (nov 1st) in stock! So I ended up with one for $165 and change out the door. Whew. Luv'n this phone.
According to the website Amazon has it for $268.00 not $199.00

Sweet, I just grabbed mine at $199 on Monday. They must have stopped it once they sold out.
