This one is 378MB and reportedly brings support for Wireless Internet Service Provider roaming (WISPr) and also includes a fix for RTT (Real Time Text) and the April Android security patch. I have no idea if this update will really improve much of anything for us, but I have reluctantly installed it hoping for better battery life.
Enjoy.

And introduced new bugs which prevent many widgets from updating or working properly...

Can some body post firmware or OTA here?
Many people with 6.0.1 cant update. Waiting for firmware.

Has anybody had charging issues since taking the update? Seems like fast charge won't work for me unless the screen is off. If I'm watching YouTube or streaming anything it won't charge the phone at all. Charging at 282 mA right now with screen on, and 2,561 mA when screen is off. And only when it's off.

Besides the kernel being slightly more efficient on battery, so far I'm not seeing any real benefit of this OTA either. In fact, this morning as I was wrapping up a BT business call, I pressed the headset's call button to end the call. Nothing happened, I then pressed end call in the phone app repeatedly and it wouldn't hang up. I had to shut off Bluetooth altogether from the quick toggles in order to hang up.
That was a discouraging experience to say the least...

Is this a problem?

I just got this tablet recently, not too much surprise since i am already user android 2.2 rom on x10
But i notice there is time where this tablet fail to respond to touch command say after a long timeout. As in i can't move the bubble to unlock the screen at all
I tried to turn it off and the pop up wasn't even responsive at all to touch.
Is this a failure on my tab alone or anyone else have the same problem ?
Also it is common for the tablet to have a slow respond to screen switch and rotate a lot ? I found my tablet go portrait mode even lie down (i want it to be landscape).
please indicate what version you are running and what kernel.
i have no such problems running 3.1 upgraded tu .38
Wrongfeifong from The Order of the Silver Hand? If so Korgana here cool that you got this same tablet lol.
I've not had any problems like that yet.
No, I havn't had any issues and if you want to be landscape use the rotation lock switch, it's beside the volume butons.

Sorry, had to.... anyway, if you are running 3.0 and not 3.1 it could be the "Removal from Charger" issue and causes it to lock up? I dunno, like the others said, what is your current version?
I just got it right out of the box and never update
3.0.1 android version
2.6.36-0001 kernel
and hey small world isn't it? yea i am the same person from silver hand.

Already set up my rma... lasted for about 30 mins (reboot, turned off, still there) and while I was on phone with google, it mysteriously disappeared. Anyone else in same boat? Search is disabled currently

Seems like a software bug to me. It didn't affect the notification area and the nav.
Probably sothing to do with the video controler?
Really weird

Try a factory reset and see if that solves it. You already have an RMA on the way so you might as well test different possible solutions.
You see looking at the picture, I thought it didn't affect those areas too... but I swore it did. I think it was just more visible on the drop down area. Of course I cannot remember now since it is gone...

Black screen of death since 5.1.1

Ok guys it started since I migrate to 5.1.1 ROM, flashed clean DN 0.3 note 5 port, and the phone would just go black at least once per day, nothing seems to work even a hard restart (volume up + power button for 20 sec) only a battery pull would restart the phone. So I figured it must be the ROM ( noone in DN 0.3 thread seems to have this problem) . So I flashed the original 5.1 firmware for my country, rooted it and used it for a day to find out it does the same! I'm really not sure what seems to be the culprit. I couldn't find a conclusive pattern on the bsod however last time I noticed it happened right before I was disconnected from public wifi, perhaps it is the modem? Maybe it's root and bootloader conflict with 5.1 firmwares? (the phone boots up, so it cannot be bootloader? Or I don't understand something about what bootloader does?) Any one has encountered the same problem? Any clues on how to fix it?
Just happened again while wifi connection was weak and I think it happens right before it got disconnected or switched to other connection mode or different wifi
Read around the forums that people are having bsod in combination with Tasker and secure settings to switch off secure keyguard, I never use this option, just use Tasker to automate sync processes, Uninstalled it nevertheless. Will see if it helps
Happened again... Noticed that the battery percentage drops quote significantly after the battery pool, here is the screenshot

I have two AW2.0 watches: the ZTE Quartz and Emporio Armani Connected. When I'm adding complications to a watchface, I can choose Clock > Sunrise and sunset. Once set, this complication will show a "no location" symbol with a couple "--" dashes.
Using the Quartz that has onboard GPS, I've tried having every location setting at maximum (watch GPS/wifi/celluar on, phone GPS/wifi/celluar on, location set to high accuracy). I've also tried using the Quartz independent from my phone, with the watch GPS/wifi/celluar on. I can be standing outdoors for 30 minutes with a clear view of the sky and this sunrise/sunset complication still won't work. Other watch features that access your location work fine, like Google Maps.
Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? I'm using a Huawei Honor Note 8 phone.
Same issue - solution?
Hey, did you ever figure this one out? I happen to be experiencing the same problem.
Same issue here for the Fossil Gen5 Carlyle but I saw in a mobovi forum someone said putting the watch into Essential Mode (Time Only) then powering back into normal fixed the issue. Just tried that and it did work for me. They also stated that they thought the last update fixed the issue so perhaps the Gen 5 will get that soon..

I think my phone got a virus? Very weird bootloop/stuck bootloader

My ZE553KL (I use it as a home device control, small tablet) keep loading/reloading for 3 hours now. I CANNOT SHUT IT DOWN. everytime I have this vibrate boot, ITS SUPER ANNOYING.
It show the bootloader then reboot, then show the bootloader and so on. Buttons are unresponsive.
Only think I can do is press up and get to screen number 2 for exactly 6 second (my computer then recognize it).
I cannot remove battery (hello soldered battery). or shut it down, I guess at some point It will drain battery but.
I have no idea what is happening, please help?

Ouch
Play with it. Proper button sequence and timing is everything. It's easy to not hit the right button at the exact moment. Allowing the battery to auto shutdown may break the cycle. Don't attempt to solder the battery without a good iron and skillset. You need to be fast about it.
If the OS is pre Pie it's suspectable to rootkits that require a reflash to erraticate.
A hardware failure is also possible.
A bad coded 3rd party apk can also boot loop you. That's worse than a normal boot loop though.
It's definitely corrupted... hopefully someone here who has seen this before and/or knows more about that line of phones advanced troubleshooting can help you.
