$200 Prepaid gift card when you buy LG G6 [June 1 - June 16] - Verizon LG G6 Guides, News, & Discussion

Hello, folks!
Be acknowledged that you can receive $200 Visa prepaid card when you buy Verizon LG G6.
Timeframe: June 1 - June 16
https://www.acbincentives.com/G6JunePromotion

Do you know if you can bundle this with the $15 Verizon trade in deal?

For sure

I work for Verizon. If you don't care about losing your phone number, you can add a line and get a $100 Amazon gift card (must be new line) and then disconnect the old line. So you would effectively get a $200 visa and a $100 Amazon gift card, pretty good. The $15 trade in requires you to be on the unlimited plan. The amazon deal ends June 4th.

Seems a bit unfair to us early birds, all we got was a Google home.

e b a t e s has a $75 cash back too ... phew I might have to jump on this

Yes that was the decision I ended up making. Waiting out for root on the carrier-unlocked version; price will have come down slightly by then and it will be a very sensible purchase. Gorgeous hardware; just needs XDA's deft touch for software

Fulll 199.99 or into payments?

I just found out last night Radioshack charges the fulll 199.99 for the phone, well in my case 149.99 because I got the $50 gift certicate. My question is, they can't break it down into payments? Or do I have to buy from Sprint? Ive been approved already for Sprint, so what should I do? Go to Sprint and get the phone or go through radioshack? What should I do about this $50 gift certificate which is non refundable?
any place is going to make you pay the outright price for the phone. There's no payment plans. Maybe if you sign up for a RS credit card you can pay it over a couple months, but then you'll be paying interest on it.
What are you? 12? You need to make payments on 149.99? Work a little harder at your lemonade stand this summer and buy one in September or something, Jesus.
If you can't afford the phone now, you probably shouldn't buy one.

Well, seeing as you already paid $50 for the gift card, I'd go with RadioShack. Anywhere you go, you are going to end up paying for the phone outright, unless you can get a RadioShack credit line.
Not my business what your situation is, that you need to break up $149 into payments, but it kind of reminds me of those people who buy expensive cars, yet live in dumpy houses, and can't afford the insurance or gas.

Awsome deal...

Well i was able to get the vibrant for Tmobile for 64.99 with 2 year commitment with $20 unlimited data loyalty plan, No upgrade/ activation fee, and free 3 day shipping and intant rebate. I was offered same deal on all 5 of my lines but will only take it up on one since i want to save the other upgrades for future phone releases. Only bad part is i wont get the vibrant until tuesday .
Im thinking of picking up one at tmobile tomorrow for retail price which is$439 to play with until mine comes in and then just return it, but i dont think tmobile will like that much.
Just really happy to get such a great deal and looking foward to android coming from the iphone platform

He has 5 lines. Phone companies always treat people based on how much they pay a month. The more you pay on your phone bill the more likely you are to get deals and fee's waived.
Also I see this confusion a LOT. $439 vs $499. It seems the $439 price is only for current customers, or people well into their contract. The $499 is for everyone else.

Ive been with tmo for 8 years and have 5 lines so im sure that helped. Basicly all my lines are out of contract and had previous considered going to ATT for new iphone. Tmobile offered free upgrades on all lines for any phone they had at that time with all fees waived. But they didnt have the vibrant out yet, so they told me to call once it was out to see what deal i could have. I called once it became availabe and they offered to waived all fees, bump up shipping and and additional $100 credit to regular upgrade. They ended up giving me additional $135 because i mentioned my upgrade only said 164.99, which was different from their $199, so they just added $35 to match the price.
Tmobile takes care of their customers! I have no issues being on a commitment with them.
Nice ^^^
They really hooked you up.

I paid $499.99
i paid 499.99 also, and i've been with t-mobile for 9 years with 4 phones.
got one offered for $429+taxes (~$460) as my early upgrade price (i bought my mt3g aug last year).
moved on to the retentions folks who brought it down to $249 + taxes, which is only $50 more than a brand new contract, i was sold on that. had them make the note on my account and picked it up in-store locally for the same price! =)
loving the phone so far, big upgrade from the mytouch3g.
can't wait to get CM6 on this baby.
btw, im having market issues currently - "download failed" error. was initially able to download a couple apps, but none now despite several reboots.

If you signed a 2 year contract, then you could try to get the $50 rebate.
Costco has it for $99.99 (instant) with a 2yr contract until Monday.

Just picked up 2 in store myself - $149.99 each with $50 mail in rebates. The instant $50 rebate is for online orders only, I think.

$100 Gift Card at Best Buy

I didn't see this posted anywhere but Best Buy has The Lg G4. They will price match the $549.99 price from Verizon and give you a $100 gift card. On top of that, LG is giving an extra battery, leather back, and charging cradle.
http://www.lg.com/us/mobile-phones/g4/cover-promo I have unlimited data, and I thought the gift card was only available with Edge and contract plans. I paid cash for the phone and walked out with a $100 gift card in hand, and didn't even ask about it!!
They must have changed their policy. When I purchased my phone last month at full price (ATT) you had to call and request the $100 gift card. Lots of people complaining in the BB forums about this mess. Glad they finally fixed that and educated their sales staff on that promotion
damn, i wish at&t would bring the price down to 549. i got the BB 100 gift card earlier this week with my outright purchase, but not until after a fight with the manager
I got my $100 gift card printout no problem and no questions asked.

Step by Step Guide to getting a free LG G4 in the USA

You can get a free, NO CONTRACT, LG G4 right now (in the US only), currently priced at $552, below is a step by step guide:
LG G4 MSRP price in Verizon Store is $552
1. Go to a Verizon CORPORATE store (not reseller) in the US:
Ask them to use the Verizon $100 instant discount on LG G4 in store: LGG4SAVE or LGG4SAVE100 or LGG4SAVE100B
Price goes down to $452
2. Ask them to apply $300 instant IN STORE credit towards the cost of the phone by recycling an older smartphone promo (doesn’t work online), expiration unknown. I bought a $10 TRacfone from Walmart and turned it in. LG Exceed is $20 at Bestbuy you can use that:
http://www.verizonwireless.com/landingpages/switch-and-save/
New customer recommended. Existing customers may get the $300 in form of BILL CREDIT instead of instant reduction in the cost of the phone.
Price goes down to $152
Do not attempt to pay off the phone. It wont work. Get on the monthly payment plan, about $6.month. Dont worry you will cancel the next day.
3. Sign up for the S plan. $50/month. Cancel the next day. You will pay $1.67.
Price goes up to $153.67
4. Pay taxes on the phone about $44 in California.
Price goes up to ~$199
5. Leave the store with the phone. You have paid $44 in taxes and owe $152 on the phone you cannot pay that yet.
6. Submit the LG $200 Rebate Page, Expires 11/15:
http://www.lgg4octoberpromo.com/default.asp
Price goes down to $FREE
There are no activation fees. Verizon has no contracts.
7. Call the next day and pay off the phone with your credit card $152
8. Root Using this method below:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/...-tmo-vzw-intl-variants-soon-root-lg-t3164765/
9. Get a free $25 credit for porting your number to Cricket, must port within 30 days after you register:
http://www.cricketwireless.tk/
Get on $35/mo plan, includes 2.5GB of high speed internet.
10. Use Cricket APN settings, you have to manually add an APN, Cricket works on AT&T network, LG G4 gets H speed on it (not LTE) but 4MB/s is fast enough for me:
https://www.cricketwireless.com/sup...ice-byod/customer/bring-your-own-android.html
11. Done, you have a free LG G4. Enjoy! :good:

Yes the combo promotions $100+$300+$200 only works on Verizon.
I think the intent was to have $100 + $200 from LG via coupon and rebate OR $300 from Verizon for recycle but they overlapped and now its $600 off. In States other than California you actually make money by buying this phone since tax is only applied to the $152.
Someone screwed up.
Anyone done it yet?
What phone did you use...I'm having trouble finding a smartphone for $10 or $20 anywhere. The LG Exceed is not available till Nov 18th by which I'm sure this loophole will be closed.
Too complicated. Here I propose a simplified approach:
1. Walk into any store selling the LG G4
2. Apply the 5-finger discount to your LG G4 to reduce the price from $552 to $0.
3. Enjoy your new LG G4. Fo' free!
Yeah, this is what I was thinking of doing. Except I have a S4 on contract, but the verizon employee says that if I use the "early upgrade" I have to send in my device and they cancel my contract. The only thing is, I'm not eligible for the $300. And apparently the $300 is only for those who open a new line (new or current customers)
Will this phone work on T-Mobile
What should we do to get it to work on the tmobile network ?
also what is the simplified approach?
Thread closed. Specials will be done soon and no longer possible.

Best buy sucks

Just received a email preorder delayed its gonna shipped in 30 days, call customer support and lady told me its gonna be available MAY 15,sprint gold
Yeah same message for a VZW model. Going to try and cancel

I just picked up my AT&T G5 this afternoon, only issue I had was them not having the free promo items in stock. "Extra battery, cradle, cable" Mine is arriving in store Thursday the 7th; I did receive my free $100 gift card though. Not an unpleasant experience surprisingly.
Picked up my Titan Sprint G5 from Best Buy this morning, the cradle kit originally back ordered has shipped today.
Verizon model titan color picked up from best buy today as well. None of the promo cradle kits were shipped to them. Apparently it's going to be shipped to my house on the 4th-5th.
Same as few above, Vz Titan, picked up no issues. Promo cradle/battery and USB Micro/C converter shipping next week.
maybe its because you ordered that it arrived to you directly and they are waiting for the "preorder" bonus, maybe try changing the order to pick up at store. i too got my g5 today for att and the bonus didnt arrived yet but they will call me when it arrives i also aplied to the lg page bonus so that i could have 2 spare batteries.

which is the LG Item Code for the Cradle ?
I preordered my G5 in store at best buy and the cradle/batt didn't show up, their system wasn't even loaded for it other than it being an online item or something. They basically had to special order it in for me , then the manager had to override it to get it to me for free. Either way, no big deal, I can manage until next week without my Free extras. I'd imagine I'll only need the secondary batt on rare occasions.
they delayed mine so i went into the store and they said they had 3 on the shelf. Im like why did my instore pickup get delayed then. Oh well canceled preorder and reordered. Special ordered accessory bundle and off i went.
I didn't get a notice but I went to the store on Apr 1 and they had my phone, but no accessory bundle. I bet that's wht they're all delayed. I was able to pick mine up anyway and had the accessory bundle set up to ship to my house when available.
i went into a best buy on sat and they had 1 g5. not one person knew anything about the phone. all the staff kept saying how ugly and stupid the phone was and only bashed it. Funny they had nothing but bad things to say and not a single person had even used the phone... I have been doing much research and the intranet has much of the same. Nothing but negativity or pre-release reviews that don't give this phone any justice.
apparently no one ordered the bundle, so mine is coming in the mail as well...

Can anyone confirm a $100 BB gift card when buying for Sprint? I'll be getting the Sprint one on installment plans and have seen conflicting info on whether the $100 gift card works for Sprint.

I don't see Best Buy gift card as an option:
-$100 payment with 2 year contract.
-$24/month installment payment assuming good credit.

i think the $100 gift card is for at&t- the phone is $199 and you get a $100 gift card in the mail in a few weeks. Sprint phone is $99 at the register so no gift card.
I have at&t and purchased from best buy , it's a $100 best buy gift card that I got right away. Still havent found anything useful to buy as of yet from there.

It's here. I showed this to the rep and he agreed Sprint also receives $100 gift card. I was unable to upgrade for unrelated reasons, however, so I can't confirm that he would have eventually actually given me the gift card. But he was convinced.
However, I'm doing the $150 *cash* bonus on trading in old smartphone via Sprint directly instead. For some reason they're also taking off $15/month for switching to the installments, so once I trade in the old phone it'll be like they paid me $44 over the next two years to have upgraded.
