Are you sure its not C654 or C55?

Sorryyyyyyyyyyyy ..... C652 not C65.
The phone is a retail demo version, i've unlocked bootloader and install root and twrp, but if i try to flash one firmware, twrp stop it with error e:unknown command [errno]
Any idea ?
Thanks

Return to ALE-L21 b575 from sokkoban's ROM

Hello,
I want to retrive stock rom without any mod but I have a problem. I made backup before i flash sokkoban's rom but when i want to retrive this it's still this chinese model ALE-UL00. The next problem is when i want to flash system.img from stock package in cmd i see info that this file is unreachable (it has more than 2 GB), but when i change name of other file to system.img it's flashing. I don't know what file i can flash that will work properly?
This procedure means converting location of the phone. First flash the correct location zip via twrp. unicomelectric/cn for chineese fw, like 564 mod, and hw/eu for european fw like 575 mod. Secondly: after that flash b50 package for eu, b230/240 for cn. Lastly you can make all official updates till 575 (eu) or 564 (cn). From those fws you can flash sokkobans custom roms from sokkoban. Good luck.

Sorry about typo. i mean b050 ... for start.
You will lose network and sim but after update to b170 they will return.
Oh, and for mm: update procedure (official updates via ota):
eu: b050, b170, b188, b550/564, b575
cn: b230/240, b558, b564
I don't see b050, only b052 to download.

That is. The basic eu fw.

All works.

Ok. So that fw b564 from sokkobans blog is for cn firmwares. It is necessary to be on b558, or b564 (official, via ota). Because that fw its a mod from another modded cn firmware kangvip mod.
Now, if you are on eu channel, you cannot performe update to b564 sokkoban mod, because that is for cn.
BUT, from b565 (eu) or b574 (eu) you can flash another mod of sokkoban: b574 mod.

Lg G5 H850 sucessfully changed region and firmware on stock non rooted

Hello. Great news from me ?
I sucessfully changed my ISR firmware to EU firmware. And guess what, no cust error on boot. Yeahh
Its like this:
Just download latest 20p firmware and flash it via lgup 1.14 and uppercut. First set lgup to refurbish and click start. Phone will go to download mode and start flashing. It will give known error *kdz not supporting refurbish* and stop on 4%. Do not exit from download mode on phone. Reopen uppercut and flash 20p firmware in upgrade mode and wait.
After flashing make factory reset phone and voila U have 20p firmware without cust error message
I used this firmware
H85020p_00_EEO_GB_OP_0916.kdz
Happy flashing ?

oh,and one more thing, it starts with new carrier apps from Orange (France) i bought i phone from there, i have no idea,i can't even root my phone cause of <waiting for any device> issue in adb fastboot
have changed my fw from 20k open EU to 20 p EEE for GB now. (but device was rooted!) No problems until now.
security level (as expected) Sep. 01/2017
Edit:
Ok, i have found my fault. To use 20p, it was necessary for me to backup cust folder from 20k at first and then to restore him to 20p!
Now i have no problems with BT and my secure level is 9.2017

I'm in France, wich .kdz do you suggest for me ? H85020p_00_EEO_GB_OP_0916.kdz is good for me ?

i recommand to update your whole cust folder with all other folders in it at first before updating to 20p!!
You should restore cust folder from 20c ( or your old version!) after backup!
And of curse edit your cust_path_mapping.cfg to your country code ( for me it was ffffffff,11 )
you will find your code entering *#546368#*850#
without this steps, i had many problems with system stability and BT!!!

No way. How to backup cust folder or edit it when our isr g5 is not rootable. We cant unlock bootloader. I'm using 20p firmware after flash from 20c and apsolutely no problems at all. Cust folder is market depending for provider apps, network settings or similar. Firmware is same for all g5 h850 and hardware also.
Cheers

Update WAS-LX1AC432B185 to WAS-LX1C432B197

Hello I have a WAS-LX1A with the B185 I can not find update, with "Huawei Firmware Finder" I found the firmware B197, I tried to flash (FullOTA) it but it gives me error. The phone is not branded, how can I install this firmware?
P.S. WAS-LX1C432B197 is WAS-LX1AC432B197 (typing error)
Curious about this myself.. Is it even possible to flash firmwares that hasn't been signed/approved by Huawei??

WAS-LX1AC432B197 this firmware has been downloaded from the official website of the updates then signed
I have WAS-LX1C432B197 installed. It contains the January security patch.

[Firmware] Which firmware should i use to update to emui 5.xx with VNS-L31 C432 B226?

My phone had to be repaired last week, and the Huawei repair service changed everything in the phone except for the backplate.
However, I am now stuck with emui 4.1.2 in firmware VNS-L31 C432 B226, and i can't find a replacement firmware for the system.
The phone shows no update available in stock.
I have TWRP and magisk installed atm, just so i could try and get a different firmware with emui 5.1 or 5.0 at least, which I did to no avail.
Is there any way to find the correct firmware compatible with this phone?
Googling this firmware gives me no clues as to the correct path to updating this phone.
Should i use an adb/fastboot command prompt to update it, or use the dload method, or even the extract the SYSTEM.img from UPDATE.app method?
I just don't want to revert to an "earlier" version of the firmware with the dload method just to have my phone bricked.
These are the firmware i tried already:
[TO BE UPDATED]
TL/DR:
I have a Huawei P9 Lite repaired to a stock:
Firmware: VNS-L31 C432 B226
EMUI: 4.1.2
in Portugal.
I want to know a compatible firmware or series of firmware patches so i can get
Firmware: VNS-L31 C432 Bxxx
EMUI: 5.xx
Thank you for your time.
Hello,
it's strange that with an unbranded european firmware your phone didn't upgraded to android 7....
Anyhow i never done a forced upgrade but if i were you i wil try with HWOTA update, like explained in this thread.
So first make all your necessary backups, then unroot and finally follow the guide to upgrade.
P.S.: If your phone is dual sim try install B370, if single sim try with B371.
All the best

I tried a bunch of firmwares for emui 5.1 that didn't work, or which had NFC and bluetooth not working. I ended up downgrading to B160, and am now reupgrading to B370 after checking that both of the previously mentioned are working properly. I will update on this issue asap.
Also, it seems like the firmware I originally had was updated in march 2018, so it was really an updated official firmware with emui 4.1. What a weird setup. Could it be to make sure the NFC and bluetooth would be working? I just don't know...

I did it and it worked, however i flashed the recovery partition of version VNS-L31C432B380 with TWRP and now can't do a OTA update to B388.
Should I extract the recovery img from a b380 FULLOTA update and flash it to my recovery partition with fastboot?

Hey,
surely without stock recovery OTA updates won't work,
so yes try flash it with fastboot, then update to the latest/wanted firmware and finally unlock bootloader,
flash custom recovery and root (even if wanted).

Hello,
from G Play download and use Firmware Finder for Huawei,
inside the app all the infos.
I suggest dns/vpn method, choose B361 FULLOTA-MF-PV firmware first.
If you will succeed, you'll be able to use stock updater to upgrade
till latest nougat firmware.
Good luck :fingers-crossed:

Maybe if you consider a rebrand it would open
the possibility to upgrade to android 7.
But it will cost (4 euros) for unlocking the bootloader,
you'll have to search the proper oeminfo file and
the correct firmware... it's not simple nor impossible
and I can't guarantee for this ...
choise remain yours.
Cheers
