Falsh stock via qfill application ...with pc..

The best option to fix this is to
1. Download SP Flash - spflashtool.com
Install USB VCOM Drivers:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4AxISENE1O_M2tfNkV5Q0tkRXM/view
Grab the stock ROM from here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/lenovo-a6000/how-to/firmware-lenovo-a6000-se-stock-rom-t3406693
Put this on your desktop somewhere easily accessible and make sure its unzipped.
Turn OFF your phone and pull the battery. Open SP Flash and go to options -> Download -> Make sure both those options have a checkmark in the boxes.
In the DROPDOWN box of SP Flash where you see Download change to 'Firmware Upgrade'.
Where you see the button that says Scatter Loading, press it and navigate to the scatter file in your Lenovo Stock ROM download. It will be the only file you see (text file) select it.
Now in SP Flash on the TOP where you see the GREEN Download Arrow, Click Download.
Now, with phone off and battery OUT, put battery back in phone...DO NOT turn it on, simply plug into your USB cable attached to your A536.
You will see SP Flash pop up a red bar on the bottom. Relax. You will then see a yellow bar showing its installing the firmware. When it is done you will see a box popup with a big green checkmark saying its done.
Unplug your phone and hit the power button.
Please let me know if you run into trouble. Follow my instructions and you will unbrick your device.

bricked defy?

sorry for the title, this is defy plus (+)
please help me!! i am extremely nervous since buying this phone took a lot of saving.
i was trying to install CM 9, the instructions were a bit confusing specificly this line:
Install guide (courtesy of nogoodusername):
A How to on flashing ICS(Defy Plus Builds)
1:Head over to Stable Recovery from boot menu
2:Wipe Data (Nandroid Backup Before Doing this [optional])
3:Install Zip from SD
4:Select ur ICS(DefyPlus) zip
5:FLash
6:Flash CM9 Kernel [Note: Defy Plus users DO NOT FLASH KERNEL ZIP!]
Click to collapse
i just assumed he missed a few letters when saying "DO NOT FLASH KERNEL ZIP"
so i flashed CM9 kernel. then i got this error: in a black screen
with a few other things Like "battery ok" and stuff
"Err:A5,70,00,00,23"
so i downloaded an SBF from this list http://sbf.droid-developers.org/umts_jordanplus/list.php
DEFYPLUS_U3_4.5.1-134_DFP-161_HE_SIGN_UCADEFYEMARAB1B80AA004.0R_PDS03C_USAJRDNGIBRPRNIL_P010_A021_M001_Service1FF.sbf.gz
and flashed with RSD lite using these instructions
STEP 1 Download usb drivers here below
Motorola Drivers Here
STEP 2 Download the debranded Firmware here (To debrand to generic UK I used the one marked UK - choose the one for your country)
Choose Firmware Here
STEP 3 Download RSDLite - I used v4.9, I found earlier versions would not work. Get it here.
RSDLite 4.9 Here
STEP 4 Install the USB Drivers and the RSDLite program and reboot PC
STEP 5 Extract the firmware file you downloaded a while ago. Then copy the .sbf firmware file to c:\Program files\Motorola\RSDLite folder (installation directory for RDSLite). this should come out as JRDNEM_U3_2.21.0_SIGNED_UCAJRDNEMARAB1B80AA028.0R_ USAJORDANRTGB_P026_A007_HWp3_S
rvice1FF.sbf for the UK one.
STEP 6 Start the RSDLite program now where it says filename press the select button and find the .sbf firmware file in c:\Program files\Motorola\RSDLite (it should default to this folder) and select the (sbf) file some details will appear on the right hand side.
STEP 7 We now need to boot the phone into the bootloader (as above make sure the phone is disconnected from USB – not sure if matters tho!). Hold the volume up and then power the phone on, after about 5 seconds release the buttons and the bootloader should display - it will show the version and a battery check. Now plug in the USB cable and it should install the drivers . Once the driver installation has finished you should see the phone appear at the bottom of the RSDLite program window under `port 1` - Once this is there you are ready to flash the firmware. NB: I had issues getting it to show a number of times. Uninstalling RSDLite/Drivers, rebooting PC, and then reinstalling these resolved this issue. (did not do thise because i could not get past the screen i was talking about)
STEP 8 Press the start button on the RSDLite and just relax while your device gets flashed, debranded etc. you will see a progress status on the right hand side wait till it reaches 100% but please do not disconect it will reboot the phone automaticly and restart the phone. And just wait untill android comes up and fully running untill you disconnect it should read (PLEASE START PHONE MANUALY) on RSDLite when this shows it is safe to unplug.
Click to collapse
and in step 8(i waited till it says "pass") i was looking at my phone, it had a white led, looked at it for a few seconds and tried to hold the power button to turn it on or something. then it disconnected from the RSD lite.
then i disconnected from usb and tried to turn it on. but nothing.
please help. i really need this phone.
bump
bump.
please, i really need your help! i'm sorry if i did "light" investigation in search of an answer, i did a mistake twice following guides.
and i want something more specific for me. (i have BL7)
was an idiot and tried to flash a lower level BL,
flashed BL7 and it's all good now.

[How to][guide] UPDATE TO 4.4.2 BOOTLOADER AND ROOT TMO/CANADIAN VARIANTS

The point of this thread is to help people safely update their bootloader so that they may flash a touchwiz kitkat rom.
I have seen several threads where people are running into issues and even development threads get cluttered with questions. So I will give you the steps needed using my method.
Please note this is for windows 7. However it should work on other versions of windows too.
This method may wipe your internal storage completely so transfer anything you do not wish to lose to you pc.
This method will also trip yout knox counter which may void your warranty.
You also may not be able to downgrade to 4.3 so make sure this is what you want to do
I am not responsible for bricked devices. Proceed at own risk
You have been warned!!!
So what you need to do is download a few files.
I have created a zip file and uploaded it for easy access and simplicity reasons. If it becomes out dated I will update accordingly.
What is needed is your variants stock firmware. You need to get the one for your device off sammobile.com
On sammobile you must create an account in order to download (if you don't have an account already).
Once you are logged in click on the firmware tab. Then enter your device name.
Canadian variants enter: SM-N900W8
TMO variants enter: SM-N900T
You will then be able to pick the most recent firmware for your device and download it. So now that you have the correct firmware (please double check, and if unsure google it)!!!
So lets begin
You also need to download the zip file I have made and extract it. Inside it you will find the samsung drivers, 3 recovery options to pick from, the supersu.zip and also odin.zip. once you've extracted the file you've just downloaded you need to extract the odin.zip inside it as well.
So if you have not previously installed the samsung drivers you will need to do so. Simply run the samsung mobile driver.exe file and install it. Once successful in installing, reboot your pc.
when it boots up, connect yout device to you pc and transfer over the supersu.zip over to your phone. The root of your sd card is recommended for easy access.
Now what you need to do is ensure usb debugging is enabled. Do so by going to settings, general, developer options and ensure its checked. If you do not have developer options simply go to about phone, and tap om build number 7 times to enable developer options.
Once this is done you need to power off your device with it unplugged. Now we need to enter download mode. You can do this by holding the home button, volume down and pushing and hokding the power button. You will be presented with a warning screen. You push volume up to proceed or vokume down to cancel and restart device.
We want to push volume up. It will then show a big android saying warning do not turn off target.
Now connect your device to your pc and run odin as administrator.
In odin near the top left you shoukd see a box colored in saying:
Com and have a number. If you see this that means odin recognizes your device. If you do not that means eiter you dont have the drivers installed properly or perhaps you need to try a different usb port or cord.
You then will see a few check boxes checked off. Auto reboot and f.reset time. leave these checked only.
Theres an AP BUTTON. Click this button and then navigate to your stock firmware file you've downloaded and select it. It may take a few minutes to load it. Once it does load all you need to do is click the start button and let odin do the rest. Do not touch anything.
This will take a few minutes. You should see a green "pass" in the box at the top left. Your device will eventually reboot and you will now be stock, unrooted on the latest firmware.
*please note that if at this point your device hangs on the Samsung logo sayong "recovery booting" you need to pull the battery and reflash the firmware. This time also check the repartition box.
Now we need to root and flash a custom recovery.
Again you'll need to enable usb debugging on your phone so I recommend skipping the google setup stuff on your phone.
Once you have enabled it, power off your phone with it unplugged and again enter download mode the same way you did before.
Plug in your device and in odin press the reset button to clear the stock firmware file.
Now connect your device to your pc and again ensure that odin recognizes it.
Click the AP BUTTON again and this time navigate to the custom recovery of choice ( I reccomend twrp. I am also using the tmo version as I could not get the canadian version to boot)
Once selected again hit the start button. In a few seconds you should again receive a "PASS" message. That mrans you have successfully flashed a custom recovery.
Now power off your device and unplug it. Now we need to enter recovery.
Do so by pressing the home button, volume up, and push and hold the power button. Once you see recovery booting you can let go. You will also see in red font: recovery is not seandroid enforcing. That just means you have a custom recovery.
If your device hangs at this screen you will need to oower it off and try a different recovery.
Once in recovery I reccomend making a nandroid backup. (Optional)
Next we are going to root. All that you need to do is press install or install zip from sd card depending on which recovery you chose and navigate to the supersu.zip
Now install the zip by following the instructions of the recovery and then reboot.
Congratulations you are now rooted (you can confirm if you like by downloading the root checker app if you wish) and on the latest firmware and can flash custom 4.4.2 roms for your device. Please read and follow the directions of the op in the thread of the rom you wish to flash.

I replied to your pm you sent me. Anyway just flash a different recovery if it's hanging after flashing recovery. If its hanging after flashing stock 4.4.2 firmware try it again by oulling battery and going back into dl lodem this time also check the repartition box

Well if you're having to ask this then that leads me to believe you did not read the op. I suggest you do so or you may have a bad experience. Once you read all of the op I will tell you where it is

Thanks, by the way you said that it may be difficult to go back to a different version, does this include the backups too?

My phone is not flashing
its working never mind lol. I just tried again and it worked
regarding the stuck on RECOVERY BOOTING, you have to reflash it, WITHOUT ticking the REPARTITION (as stated in the instructions. you just need to reflash again. and it should work the 2nd time around

[Q] Little help with my S4 please!

So i have a rooted galaxy S4, it also has a flashed rom on it (its an s4 rom but was manually flashed due to a few problems)
So I was wondering, is there any way for me to unroot my phone, but also reset everything else (I mean the flashed rom etc back to normal..., and just have my S4 like I just bought it?)
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
-Eddie
in order to reflash the original rom you had, you need to have some former-flash informations:
-Android version you had before the flash
-Country of origin of the rom (not really important but if you want it really as you had it from factory you need this information)
Now what you need to do is to activate usb debugging from parameters : (Plus -> about device -> tap 8 times on baseband version, it will tell you that developper mod is activated, back to menu, tap developper options, tick usb debugging)
You need to download Odin 3.07 or whatever (i advice you use this one.)
and download the firmware you exactly want from sammobile (Warning, choose the exact model device you have)
then you need to factory reset your phone (via recovery)
now shut down your phone, put it on download mod (down volume + home button + power button)
press up, open odin on your computer then plug your phone to the computer. wait until your phone is detected in odin (a blue com will appear on odin). if your phone is not recognized, install usb drivers (google it) and turn off kies.
now extract the firmware you downloaded from sammobile, you will have a .tar.md5 file, click on pda, (or ap if newer odin version), then choose the file (it will take a long time to charge, if you don't want to wait, you can rename the .tar.md5 file to just .tar)
Click start and wait until "pass!" appears on odin.
That is all.

Downloaded the correct ROM of sammobile. Can't try at the moment in school right now!
But thanks for the great reply, I'll do it when I get home and let you know how it goes

Possibly dead boot MP Rio, Help/Suggestions Please T.T

So apparently, I went home and usually put my phone into my desk.
While I took it from my pocket, I noticed the hardware buttons were lit but no display, I removed the battery to restart, during the week, frozen screen were occurring a dozen times when playing Clash, that though I didn't mind I just said to myself I will reflash the rom in the weekend.
But up to now,
It won't turn on, recovery mode or anything also doesn't work
It wont charge
Tried a new battery but still no luck
I think PC reads it but SPFT wont
Any suggestion on how I can revive my phone?
Attached is the error I get from SPFT
I don't own the A120 anymore. That is almost similar to this, as you might know.
Anyway, as nobody has answered your question, I will try to help as much as I can.
Does it give you a haptic feedback(vibration) when you try to power on the device?
Are you saying that it won't turn on completely?
If it is being detected on the computer and not on SPFT, you might want to check with the drivers you have. Do you have the MTK VCOM drivers installed? (I'm not really sure about the name, but it was something like that).
And try flashing the Stock ROM with SPFT with your battery removed from the phone.
Download the drivers.
Connect your phone without the battery and keep your device manager open, if it shows a device with a yellow exclamation mark beside it, right click and click on properties. You will have to do this quickly.
Once that is done, go to driver tab on the properties window. Select Update Driver. Browse my computer and enter the location of your downloaded and unzipped drivers.
(You might get a digital signature error or something similar. I'll tell you how to bypass that in the end. If you get that, go to the end, follow those steps and then come back and do all the steps after the downloading part.)
If the drivers are successfully installed, then unplug your device, run the SPFT and load the Scatter file of the Stock ROM.
Now select Download only and start the download, it will wait for you to connect the phone.
Plug in your phone without the battery. This should initialize the download process.
Now wait for the flash to be completed and if it is successful, take out your phone and boot it. If it boots up, congratulations.
If it does not, flash the same ROM the same way another time and check, if it is still not working, try with Firmware upgrade mode, twice. It should work in those tries.
Digital Signature Error bypassing.
I know only one method which works on Windows 8 and above(Tested).
Hold the Shift key while pressing Reboot.(Yes, you have to reboot your PC)
Once there is a blue screen with options, you should see "Troubleshoot". Select that.
Then Advanced Options and then Start Up settings. Then press Restart.
This will show you a menu with a lot of options. Select the option number which says "Disable Driver Signature Enforcement".
This will log you into the PC normally, but now, you can go back and do all the steps again and you won't get an error.
Cheers!
If this still doesn't help you, let me know on what happens so I can try to get you back your phone. Hope this helps.

Thanks bro, but I already gave up and bought a new one because I badly need an android device for my mini accounts in CoC. Haha but I am till trying to revive my Rio during my free time, this has been my phone for 1 1/2 year..
Yes I am aware that Rio is rebranded A120, I also asked from CM12.1 and AOSP LP Wiko Rainbow threads and some suggested help. Tried all that but still same errors.
No, there's no response of any kind including vibration when turning on. Hmn, as per the drivers, I've been using Tinno Driver since the jelly bean era of this phone, no problems or whatsoever from jb to kk to lp using that driver, so I thought there would be no problems. Still no luck in getting success. Using different versions of SPFT, using sp flashable Rio jb, kk, MMX A120 jb, kk, Wiko kk,lp stock roms, still no luck. Tried every port and cord. And I am using the Win7 64bit, I also resorted to MTK drivers, both the preloader and Da. Still.. No luck. Haha. I also tried, download only, format all+download, and firmware upgrade option with every possible combination from above but no success..
Thanks for your answer btw!

[Guide] Revive Redmi Note 4X (codename mido) after Hard Brick

1. What is a "hard bricked" phone?
Hard brick is the state of android device that occurs when your device is unbootable without a bootloop. A hard Brick device generally show little to no signs of life (you wont be able to switch it on and the screen doesnt turn on).
A phone gets hard-bricked due to trying install ROM not made for the device or use ROM Manager incorrectly.
2. Procedure
Step 1: Download all the necessary files below:
download link: en(dot)miui(dot)com/a-234.html
MIUI ROM Flashing Tool(*.exe file)
MIUI Fastboot ROM package for your device(*.tgz file) - Any variant Global / Chinese should work
Step 2: Extract MIUI Fastboot ROM package using 7zip or any other software you prefer
Correctly extracted folder should look like: (Image folder), flash_all.bat e.t.c.
After extracting rename parent folder to something short such as "mido". Avoid parent folder of ROM package extracts being too long
Step 3: Install MIUI ROM Flashing Tool
If you get "driver not signed pop up during installation click "install anyway option or similar"
To test if everything installed correctly, connect your phone to your computer and open flash tool then hit refresh button, you should see an index and com port which indicates your phone is being detected.
If phone not detected restart computer with phone still connected and navigate to device manager->ports (you should see something like Qualcomm hs-usb qdloader 9008.) if its not there re install MIUI ROM Flashing tool
Note that if you try to flash your extracted package at this point the installer will fail to communicate with the phone, step 4 is very necessary to ensure flashing can commenceStep 4: Remove back cover and disconnect phone battery
Disconnect your phone from your PC and find a nice dissasembly video on youtube to help you remove the back case of your phone. The battery is connected to the phone via one black flex cable on the right of the battery, simply detach this to disconnect battery.
Step 5. Flash your phone.
With your phone still opened, and battery still disconnected.
1. Open Flashing tool and connect your phone to your computer
2. Hit refresh to let your computer detect your phone.
3. Hit select/browse button and select parent folder from step 2. which has your rom
4. Select clean all option at the bottom of flash tool window
4. Hit flash.
5. Once flash is complete your phone will remain off disconnect from computer and reconnect the battery then switch your phone on.
3. Done
At this point your phone should be back to life. Close your phone's cover and then youre done. This guide helped me revive my Redmi note 4X snapdragon 625 3GB - please share youre experience if it doesnt work for you
Thanks man!!!!!!!!!!
Y day my rn4 sd hard bricked, with your guide I completely recover it.......
Once again thanks...... :victory:

Yeah, I'm getting that. And then "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" But then I just tried a few more times, maybe unplugged the cable and plugged it in again, and it worked.
not working
not working on my RN4X. while using MiFlash 2015 it is stuck on "Send nop command" and while using the 2016 version of MiFlash it is either "cannot receive hello packet" or cannot "ping". the latest version of MiFlash cannot be installed because of some cabinet file is missing. I'm stuck with this for a whole day now. is there anything that I'm missing??
