Stuck at boot screen - Verizon Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So I have the Galaxy s5 with Verizon sm-g900v.
I did some stupid things and ran a factory reset to clear phone when I got my new S8 in.. Since then when I turn it on, it is stuck at the "Samsung Galaxy s5 Custom powered by android" screen.
I cannot figure out how to get past this.
The only thing I have really tried so far is loading into the download screen and turning on odin and trying to flash back into NI2 firmware as that is what it was on. Odin ran through that fine, did the reset, but then im right back to being stuck at the boot screen. Ive also tried clearing cache from the recovery screen.
Hoping to get this taken care of as I wanted to trade this in towards my Galaxy s8.
Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Stuck on recovery booting

Hello,
Forgive me if i make any mistakes never had to do this before. i tried installing stock firmware on my rooted S5 i made sure it was the right firmware and such (i hope) so i tried putting the firmware onto my phone via odin i left it to do its thing once it did its thing it restarted the device and now its stuck on the samsung galaxy s5 logo and in the top left of the screen blue text saying "recovery booting...." and its stuck at this screen ive tried everything i can find around heres what ive tried.
Tried booting into recovery via the up volume home and power at once and it just keeps going back to that screen for ever ive tried removing the battery for abit and trying again ive plugged it into the pc and its not being reconised im running out of ideas and about to run around in circles on the floor lmao.
Sorry again if this is in the wrong place and such and any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks alot!
Simply, once you are stuck on galaxy s5 logo first time, go back to download mode, install the firmware again, should work!
No idea why but I have to install the firmware twice for it to work .. weird

Black screen after Samsung galaxy s5 logo.

I have a verizon galaxy s5 I rooted it with the help and guidance from xda members over here. The method I used to root my phone was this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/ver.../safely-upgrade-root-4-4-4-nha-volte-t2879348 since i was already on NI2 I skipped steps 1. to 2.5 post rooting my phone everything was running pretty good for a few days without any issues but less than a day after I inserted a sim card in the phone it started randomly restarting so did a data wipe factory reset but the problem still persisted where my phone would would either randomly restart or go into a boot loop then I got the G900VVRU1ANI2_G900VVZW1ANI2_G900VVRU1ANI2_HOME.zip stock retail tar from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=53447942&postcount=1 and used ODIN to flash it but strangely even after I flashed the stock firmware it gave me the UNLOCKED logo at start below the Samsung galaxy S5 logo so I did another data wipe factory reset and now the UNLOCKED logo has gone but I'm getting a black screen after the Samsung galaxy logo. I can enter recovery mode and download mode my phone also gets detected in kies even with black screen.
I'm pretty freaked out and devastated right now because of the suddenness of this problem. I hope someone knows how to fix this issue.
Sorry for the long post but I wanted to be as detailed as possible.

Samsung S5 stuck on Samsung Galaxy S5 logo screen when turning on (TWRP)

Pretty much my recovery thing is now TWRP, I was trying to install X...ah whatever it was called honestly I don't care anymore I'm too annoyed by this. When I clicked reboot, the phone just stayed on the S5 logo screen and has ever since.
I've tried that Terminal settings thing but it doesn't work - says there is no space left on phone? Plus with that I'm not looping into TWRP so I doubted it would work anyway.
Is there any way to do this without a factory reset style fix? I really don't wanna lose my stuff. If there genuinely isn't though...guess I'll do it.

help, i failed to root samsung s8+ (sm-g955f)

recently my phone have been acting strange, android 7.0 with samsung-something 8.1 so i thought i should root it and then update it. - bad idea..
So, i found a old root guide for 7.0
youtube.com/watch?v=-nveQWZlnOI
did a backup of my stuff, then downloaded odin3_v3.12.3 and twrp-3.1.1-0-dreamlte.img.tar, activated the dev-menu and turned on the oem-unlock
did volume down, home, power, run odin, but i acceidently inserted twrp-3.1.0-1-dreamlte.img.tar
the os restarted, everything was wiped, felt ok. I wanted to fix the issue i did, so i did the same thing again but forgot the oem-unlock.
i went odin mode with twrp-3.1.1-0-dreamlte.img.tar and got stuck in "samsung s8+ logo" after...
tried volume up, home, power but nothing....
tried turn off the phone, but it restarts and got stuck on samsung s8+ logo...
tried drain the battery, it worked but it still stucks on samsung s8+ logo....
tried go into "odin mode" it works.
when i running odin, i get "fail" and phone turns off, and go back to "samsung s8+ logo"
im not sure what i can do now.
and suggestions would be appreciated...

Unbrick my s8+

I got a T-Mobile S8 plus that I received from a friend that is boot looping. It does not get pass the Samsung logo and just reboot. I have ODIN to the latest firmware and ODIN was successful however, it's still boot looping at the Samsung Screen. Can't seem to get pass this screen. Really appreciate any help on getting this phone back to stock.
