In my opinion because of the chip snapdragon 821 and the constant updates that we are receiving...yes.
No one leaked any official info about its..but in the future why not? We just need to wait.

yes

The le max 2 users dont geht more updates anymore. So i think it wont last long until they dont give updates for le pro 3 anymore. Nougat?? I dont know, dont think so

le max 2 update in future?

Will there be updates for le max 2 in future? I know there is lineage os but it stuck inlineage OS 13 because LeEco does not release Nougat. Do you think le max 2 will get updates in future? Or will at least Nougat be the last, if it will be release at all.
I'm hoping for Nougat and think there is a good chance it will be released soon. (LeEco seems to be saying there will be an OTA within the next 30 days, but it's not clear that it's Nougat nor that it will include Le Max 2.)
I doubt we will get Android O officially, but it sounds like the changes for O will be smaller so I'm crossing my fingers that the Devs will be able to do their magic without official O.

I hope max 2 will be supported long time but because i am no dev i do not know how difficult it is to make updates without official releases. Can someone tell me it it is possible?

Are there devs who can say more if max 2 can get updates without official leeco update releases?

there are already nougat roms out. some things may need an official release to work proper.
Gesendet von meinem LEX820 mit Tapatalk
But no Chance without official update?
Has someone an answer?
On lemax2 in Nougat camera is big problem (in doesnot work at all).
On le2 and lepro3 it work, but it buggy and not fully working.
RU leeco also say that update will be in april, but they does not say what was it: minor eui update or nougat. So need to wait...
I would be disappointed if this phone did not get official Nougat support. To be honest I think it should get Android O as well. It's a fairly new and powerful phone, no reason for it not to get it.

leeco fooled us...!!

Hey tgere remembered.. Leco officially said that they will giv an ota update with this month....tgey saod it on april now it's may....they fooled us...they were not sured about dates......

yup, I know. LineageOS is just amazing.:good::good::good::good:
But because of that unstable camera(thanks to leeco not providing any nougat based rom) I came back to EUI again. Its almost 2 times a week, I switch back and forth between EUI and lineage 14.1.:crying::crying:

I don't like eui altogether, thats the reason i switching roms this frequently. I came back to eui because of it's stability only.
1 month for Chuck Norris is about 30 days long on average, but according to LeEco it's 30*47533688448831168997446762

Should I buy k20 or 9t?

I'm asking it because on AliExpress the k20 has chinese rom originally, and the global rom is flashed after unlocked bootloader.
Te 9t has global rom officially.
Which is the better option? If I buy the k20, can I make it a full fledge 9t with working gpay, etc?
I'm asking it because there is a significant price difference between them.
Yes You Can After Unlocking BL ... You Just Have To Flash Fastboot Global ROM and you good to go
---------- Post added at 11:37 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:25 PM ----------
See There Are 3 Versions Of The Same Devices
1. Chinese one
2. Indian one
3. Global one
( code names are also little bit different )
You can flash any ROM meant for any version to the device you buy .
FYI Giving Some Example Of SomeOne Who Faced Problem Regarding This.
[[[[[Ok guys I figured it out.Redmi K20 firmware starts with "Davincini" and 9T firmware starts with "Davinici" . So I have opened each of the "flash_all,flash_all_except_storage,flash_all_lock " with note pad plus and edited the words Davincini in the k20 fastboot rom to Davinci (9T) in the 8th and 9th row and flashed it with mi flash .It flashed perfectly . But forgotten to choose flash_all. So it relocked the bootloader. Now the front camera was not working.
There was a August update waiting . Updated now all is fine .Case closed.
Now again have to wait for 30 days to unlock the bootloader . Anyways back to miui 10 . So thanks . May be helpful to somebody...
K20 firmware starts with Davincini
9T frimware starts with Davinci...
Thanks Guys.............]]]]]

As you know this is the same phone basically and I would not say that the price is that much different yes it is cheaper a bit but is up to you if you want to play with ROM installation or get a ready to go Global version of Mi9t.
Mi9t has NFC with more LTE bands

Basically? YES
But EURO B20 and B28 LTE bands are not present on K20 china, I guess.
And not sure the phones version are not region locked in case you relock bootloader like MI8 is.
It is a must have for MI9T global ea rom.
And please can somebody link me a comvert tutorial, or write it down, how to do it? (I think I will go with the k20) I don't want to mess up the phone.
Thank you

If you don't want to mess it up and need a tutorial, it kind of mean that you should go with the mi9t
After all, it was clear to what to do as people post here. But if you still feel unsure on how to do it, it's better to don't.

I'm only asking because I want to be sure not to mess up. Before I had a a/b partition phone, so it's a bit different, that's why I'm a bit afraid but I like modding and custom roms (like I said currently using mi a2) so I will report here what phone was my choice.
I ordered the mi 9t, maybe not the best choice... But we will see. I think I will put custom roms on it after stable 10 roms are out.

I'm using 10 rom too currently on my mi a2 while waiting for the 9t. The reason I chose the 9t is that I doesn't need to flash roms right away when it arrives just to use gpay. I think miui 11 will be good, I would use it for 1-2 months when releases, and then custom roms later..
Thank you for your answer, sorry for my messy english

I understand, but it's better to not mess since order a phone from Ali Express means you wont have any support if things go wrong.

Mine arrived last Friday. Using it now with stock ROM 11.0.6 (EEA), but bootloader unlock is on the way (damn seven days of delay....)
Will try xiaomi.eu beta MIUI 12 ROM once my bootloader is unlocked tomorrow in the evening. I used that on my Mi 9T Pro, and it worked well there.

I'm waiting for the bootloader time frame to pass so it can be unlocked (3 days to go). A close friend has done it and he is loving it. It has to be the miui 11 eu stable rom. The miui 12 eu rom is om hold due to a problem with a Qualcomm update. Tutorial and steps to follow are on the page xiaomi eu. The moderators there have confirmed that the rom for the redmi k30 pro has the same code and it is full compatible with the poco f2 pro. Code name of the rom is "Imi".
Cheers ?

It may be a coincidence, but the update has been suspended at the same time they announced android 11 beta 1 for our device, mi 10 and mi 10 pro. So it might be because they are working on that

Wait. They just put version 12 on hold due to an issue with the Qualcomm chipset. They are waiting on an update from Qualcomm. Check before you flash.

Yep, saw that. Quite unfortunate, but i assume updates will return next week, since the Qualcomm baseline update should take 3 weeks.
For the time being, i'll use the version from May 24th.
The xiaomi.eu rom is OK, better than the standard Chinese Xiaomi Rom if you are wanting to use it outside of China. However it is not great (some very peculiar permissions requests and a lot of things are (purposefully?) unclear) AND the xiaomi.eu site owner and devs are arrogant toxic egotists which does not inspire high levels of trust.
Not sure what the Qualcomm issue affects as I have been using the 20.5.21 MIUI 12 beta on my Redmi K30 Pro without any noticeable issues.
(Recovery is modified TWRP from the Xiaomi.eu ROM, Magisk works, Google stuff works, EdXposed works (as does XPrivacy Lua seemingly).

Thanks XDA. I love my new K30 Pro Zoom Edition
Still waiting for them to unlock my Redmi K30 Pro Zoom (6 days and counting). Also, I really want to get rid of the stock rom as I'm not a fan of the bloatware, as I cannot understand the Chinese language. I hope the MIUI12 from XiaomiEU got rid most of those, while waiting for an AOSP, Lineage or Paranoid Android roms. (Hopeful that the devs will turn their attention to this flagship killer. ?
Great to finally see a forum for f2 pro I finally got boot loader unlocked but the custom recovery for the K30 leaves alot to be desired plus I don't know Chinese so I wasn't sure what I was doing I'll wait til someone developes a proper TWRP (hopefully TEAM-WIN)

Is Deadboot still exist on Latest Update ?

Hi all m3 users,
Planning to Take POCO m3 6gb variant as a primary device . But read many post about the dead boot issue after update .
So is it happening to all ? What if i did not update any other 12.0 versions from stock version and wait till 12.5 stable to get released.
Only cons about m3 i understand was Stock Camera and was planning to put Gcam. Other than that phone has VFM factor for 12k. [Currently using redmi3s prime] .. Planning to keep it for a long term and not for gaming office use .
So cant tolerate the reboot or dead issue even for a day ..
Thank You
If I'm not mistaken, the deadboots are caused by hardware issue - something related to a chip inside . I don't think updates directly cause deadboots; they are probably just coincidence. (I'm not an expert on this, so don't take my word for it.)
Personally, I've had my M3 for almost 3 months, flashed roms many times and no deadboot. That said, flashing roms does come with risks which we accept if we choose to customize our phones.
About waiting for 12.5 stable. You definitely can do this for custom roms. For official roms, I don't know if they allow skipping versions, or if they require incremental updates. You'll just have to try when 12.5 comes out.

Thank you. Also read its a h/w thing..bt.most cases issue comes after udpate and poco said its was due to memory related code in firmware udpate which is pushed along with os udpate.
Ya i know till 12.0.9 its incremental updated.
Thought 12.5 is a major update on A11. So it will be completely new..

Ah, I wasn't aware of Poco announcement about the memory issue.
My phone came with OS version 12.0.8.0 (QJFMIXM), then I updated to 12.0.9 using the official updater. I never got the deadboot problem. So either the problem was with previous versions, or I was just lucky.
