My galaxy on5 is rooted, now, what system apps can i do away with, how do i upgrade to nugaut, how do i speed this damn thing up? Help lol

Last year I rooted my Samsung Galaxy S5 and installed Cyanogenmod 12-20141126-UNOFFICIAL-kltespr on my phone. Today I tried to use the CM Updater and it said my phone is not rooted. Now how is that possible to have this ROM on my phone and it not be rooted?
My phone is a Sprint Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900P
What do I need to do to re-root this phone?

Hey guys, I have a problem with kingroot I downloaded the latest version of the app and tried to run it on my Samsung Galaxy s5 but it always says that root strategy not found but I did some research and the developers of the app say that it should work for all samsung galaxy s5 variants. Mine is Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900H. I am running on androind 4.4.2 Kitkat. Earlier this year I rooted my phone by going to my carrier but I just recently unrooted using the SuperSu method to update my phone (which did not work either). Please help me try to get kingroot to root my phone. Any help would be awesome thanks!

trying to root it used amaricain 3f and it worked with twrp. ok i have samsung Galaxy s5 boost mobile at 6.0 or something, what i wanted to root it but it will not work i wanted to use odin (i know how to use it)to flash the most recent stock rom etc that will then allow me to root and have the root stable can some one help me.i cannot seem to find a rom for it.i have done this successfully on my sprint samsug galaxy s5 with only slight stability issues.
