I'am talking about the actual lockscreen! I can change the clock for the always on display if need be but i actually have always on display turned off! The lockscreen clock however appears as if it cannot be changed

My bad, I never see the lockscreen since I use the home button to unlock.

AOKP Navigation Bar transparency

I'm not sure why this happens, and therefore I'm posting this here.

So, notification bar and navigation bar get transparent when using home screen, for some reason. I'm not sure does Nova Launcher or some setting on AOKP do this. They revert back to black when using any app. It looks nice on lock screen, but not so nice on the home screen, as you can see from the screenshot.
I did search for this, but didn't find anything, so I thought that someone here could help me to disable it. :highfive:
I'm using AOKP, Nova Launcher and Franco Kernel.
I dont know how to turn it off, but for the ugliness on the homescreen, turn of shadows in apex settings>Homescreen

Thanks for this, but it really doesn't take away the problem :/ I would just wanna get solid theme.
I also noticed that if I put transparency to my application menu, it will show transparent bars too.

I'm sorry, then I can't help anymore. I don't own this device so I don't have enough experience. :/

The transparency is set by the rom. To change it just change the opacity in ROM Control for both the navigation and notification bars.
The transparency only really works in the launcher (home pages, lock screen and app drawer). Apps don't draw behind the navigation or notification bars (there's no background behind the bars) hence they only show as black. At least that's my understanding of how it works.
Edit: To disable transparency set the opacity to 100%.

Hmm, I couldn't find the right toggles from the settings, could you write the route to the right one? I tried multiple toggles but none seemed to work.. maybe they were just the wrong ones.
I noticed this when I went to aokp build 4. I found that setting the transparency setting to 50% matched the homescreen
Rom control -> General UI -> Transparency Settings
give that a go and see if it works

Thanks for this! Seems weird that 0 alpha means full transparency, and 255 alpha means no transparency at all. Normally in colours 255 is the lightest and 0 darkest. Anyhow, the problem is now solved :victory:

How Can The Lock Screen Clock Style Be Changed With AOD Off?

Easy question right. But there is no way to change the lock screen clock style but possibly by using a Samsung Theme.
Totally wondering about this as well. I prefer the functionality of AcDisplay over AOD, so I'd like to be able to change the Lock Screen clock style from that disgusting vertical clock to something more traditional...

Color display management

My 7 mini does this annoying thing where the home screen and notification tray brighten and dim or change slight tones in color - I can't tell exactly which. It only does it on my home screen , if I slide down notifications in any app the the color of the tray stays the same. Anyone else have an issue like this?
The notification tray changes color depending on the colors of the wallpaper. That's not an issue, if that's what you mean.

Thanks but that's not what I mean. If I swipe down the notification tray changes tone in color. If I swipe down again to show all quick settings it changes color again. If I swipe up once back to just notifications , it changes color again. Finally, if I go home the same effect happens on my wallpaper. Same thing happens if I swipe up to open app drawer.

Oh, I see what you mean. I noticed this a long time ago and it didn't bother me. Unfortunately, you'll have to live with it. Perhaps, it only works with some colors, though. My panel is green right now and it's not darkening/brightening when I pull down quick settings as usual. Try using a wallpaper with a different color instead.

Change the lockscreen clock?

I am looking for an way to change the lock-screen clock, the current is really ugly.
I don't use aod tho. Anyone managed to change the clock?

How to remove lock-screen clock(Not Always-On Display Clock!)

Does anyone know how to remove the clock that appears on the lockscreen?
I have a picture that I really want to use without a clock showing when my lockscreen is displaying.
**I am not talking about the always on display settings clock*
