Change bootloader animation without root? - Moto G5 Plus Questions & Answers

I just got my moto g5 plus (u.s. version) and have to say I don't think I have ever seen a more annoying bootloader animation("hello moto" really loud) than the stock one. (I wish the in-call volume were as loud). Is there a way to change it without root? I will root some day but I'm not ready yet.

you can disable the sound in settings > sound

[Q] screen lock/unlock sound

is there a way to change the screen lock/unlock sound on verizon samsung fascinate? i like sound when i lock the screen but hate the sound it makes when i unlock it. my cousin has the droid x and i like the way it sounds. i was wondering if there is a way to change the sound or to disable just one of the sound (preferably the unlock sound)?

[Q] how to quickly adjust volume?

guys - how do you quickly increase/decrease the ringer volume without having to first unlock the phone? i currently have pin security enabled and have not been able to figure this out. on my old htc one m7 phone, i can easily do this from the lockscreen without having to first unlock the phone.

Disable Volume alert

Anyone know how to disable that annoying beeping sound when you change volume or when you hit max volume? it is unbelievably annoying.
Gravity Box in Xposed can disabled it. Along with loads of other stuff. That requires root and will break Android Pay, though.
Ok this probably isn't much help but I noticed the other day that my Nexus 6p has stopped making that sound when changing the volume setting. Except I have no idea how or why.. in fact I've been actually trying to bring it back just to understand why its stopped. I'm also non-root switch is even more strange

Click to collapse
Stock doesn't do it anymore. Only custom roms do.
Which is all the more strange then as I'm running stock non-rooted. Unless I deleted a sound file or something by accident. Is that even possible to stop the sound? I still have the lock sound, just no volume sounds when changing volume

Can the ascending ringtone be disabled without messing up the volume levels?

I'm at a point where I have to get a new backup device soon. I'm willing to give the Moto x pure one last final try... But I have to know. Can you remove that garbage ascending ringtone effect without borking the volume of notifications and ringtones?
That drove me nuts last time. On max volume the notifications were like a whisper... Ugh.
Anyway, is this still a problem today?

Boost in call volume with or without root?

I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this and I searched for solutions but I'm running stock Npn25-137-33 (no update in US yet), and I'm still annoyed that the in call volume is so low. I'm not rooted yet and I'm pretty sure there is no solution to boost volume for calls but if I root and keep stock, can I change the build.prop or another file to boost volume for calls? I'm not going to run a custom rom yet. Thanks for any help you can give.
Here's a solution. Put call on speaker phone and crank the volume down. Since everything comes out the same speaker it should be louder but not loud enough where it will be heard all around you
Thank you. I figured I could do that but was hoping for a permanent work around.
