It looks amazing and what i saw from videos on YouTube, it also works great...
I had to make a decision between Thor and Lemfo Les1...
And Thor looks better to me...
All the same specs except : It says that Thor have Gorila Glass 3 protection, and new samsung sensor for heart rate.
Other specs are :
Processor - MediaTek 6580 1.3GHz / same as Les1
Screen size - 1.4" SuperAmoled / only Amoled in Les1 description
RAM/ROM - 1GB/16GB / sam as Les1
Battery - Some sources say its 450mAh / 350mAh in Les1
It uses nano SIM / supports GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz) and WCDMA (850/2100MHz)
It also have GPS, BlueTooth 4.0, it weights only 63g...
Price was really nice (99€)
I will make video unboxing and review when it arrives...
Do you guys know some ZeBlaze forum where can i find updates and misc stuff for ZeBlaze SmartWatches?
Cheers!

I ordered mine (mine also first Smart Watch) from GearBest using Expidated Shipping on 30th April 2017. Not yet shipped.
May I know where you ordered from and to which Country.
I was searching for the same information. Maybe it is standalone and syncs with Google Fit.

i have mine now. Nice watch. fast. battery could be better, but if you configure wisely your watch, it lasts!

Did you order from GearBest?

I am from Croatia...
Ordered mine from Banggood...
I got my tracking number... It says that mine Thor was shipped 2 days ago... ( i ordered 4 days ago )
So where can we find some official firmware for our Thor??

Well, first i will use it only connected via bluetooth with my Mi5... And later i will try with sim card...
I won't use GPS, and ill try to turn off all things i dont need...
Can we root our Thor and delete all things we dont need?

I did not find any links for THOR yet.
However there are steps to root a Zeblaze Blitz. Hopefully there will be root as soon as devs get hold of this powerful watch.

Hello,
I am planning to buy this watch, but have a couple of questions, maybe someone figured it out already.
Can you answer to messages/emails sent to your smartphone, when paired via bluetooth, and no SIM is inserted in the watch itself?
Is it possible to connect it to any other fitness app?

Not sure about bluetooth pairing and things you can do when paired...
One thing i don't like is the fact that you can not use Thor for receiving calls - redirecting them from your smartphone via bluetooth...
:/

Anyone knows can we use only 2g network on Thor when sim card is inserted...
If battery won't last too much when 3g is on... i would try using 2g network only for calls...

Ordered my first smartwatch too from Gearbest :victory:

Ordered mine today from Gearbest. An upgrade from my Fifine W9 which I've been using for about 18th months.

Got the watch last week and it looks great and works well. Two issues: 1) it's extremely difficult to open the SIM slot, even with the provided tooling (couldn't so far). 2) It seems pre-prod, the software upgrade tool is a "test" version and some functionality previously available in Blitz are not yet there. How to upgrade?

ATM mine Thore is at the Customs Office... :/
It should arrive to my place this week...
So, guys... Those who got their Thor... Battery time? Without 3g... Most important part

I got mine yesterday. I'll give a quick review:
pros:
-looks good, not huge
-full android play store
-not android wear
-many clock faces
-most apps I wanted were available (play music and stitcher)
-heart rate monitor works
cons:
-battery, 75% after an hour of heavy use (music via bluetooth from wifi and installing apps)
-the companian app is sketchy, requires many excessive permissions (somewhat justified if sending calls, notifications, texts 2-way via phone), is NOT available on the play store, and crashes my nexus 6 requiring a hard reboot when i try to connect
-round screen prevents access to the hamburger menu on many apps
-swipe right is hardwired to android back button, preventing the swiping in of the menu on most apps
-google fit hangs and won't run
-strava won't pick up the heart rate monitor
-can't add multiple google accounts (i email/hangouts/text/google voice from a work g-account, but have all android apps on a personal account)
-doesn't like T-Mobile if SF bay area, sees and connects to the network, doesn't get data down
I got this as an alternative to a Garmin Vivoactive HR. I'm a cyclist that uses a bluetooth power meter. I was looking for a smarter activity tracker that could play music and podcasts. Something that would pair to my powermeter for analyzing racing performance and track training sessions. It does meet my minimum needs. I was a little too hyped on it before I got it, and I do have to say my first impressions are that its a bit of a let down TBH.
it does track heart rate via one app. it does not transmit this information as a Bluetooth heart rate monitor. on most of the clock faces, it reports the last heart rate. unfortunately, it shows this a 0 padded number and the kerning is messed up since rarely do you exceed 200 and there's only room for a narrow character like "1". heart rate is also not offered as a background service for long-term tracking.
the app is super sketchy and attempting to connect crashes my phone worse than any app I have seen. the only way I have gotten out it to just hold my power button for 20 seconds.
try to do an OTA update and it just hangs with the word "test". that's confidence inspiring.
google fit hangs on startup
strava seems to work fine with initial testing, doesn't seem to register the heartrate monitor
I've had several android tv boxes from china and some cheap tablets, so I knew what to expect interface wise, but this guy is barely usable.
The hardware seems capabale. I'm hoping a firmare update or a custom rom will surface for this because its got potential.
Needs:
-data on the go, connecting, seeing 3-4 bars but not getting data is frustrating
-gesture to access hamburger menus
-heartrate background service that's easily toggleable
-heartrate broadcast via bluetooth
-multiple google accounts

I have it on my wrist right now and with everything off it's lasting enough. However the ROM is... too awful. I mean, it's fast and everything but I feel like it could be more optimized and less filled with crappy bloatware.
Is there any scene around the MTK6580M for these things? I would install any rom but the stock rom...

Root the thing and get rit of the bloatware.

How to root it?
Any tips and tricks, and how to manual?
Tnx

I used Kingroot V5.0.5 .After two trys my zeblaze thor was rooted.
I use appfreeze to disable some apps.

I think Kingoroot would work too. I read about some perfomance issues if you root with Kingroot, draining the battery because it's filled with adware (not tested by my side).
Either way it would be nice to have some development on this model like it was done on the Blitz. I think there are a lot of brands with the same hardware around (like the LEMFO LES1 and I think the KW88 having the same MTK6580) which could benefit too

RWatch R11

Hey, does anyone tried already the new smartwatch from RWatch? There was a project on Pozible - http://www.pozible.com/project/194853
Now it is available on GearBest for ~45$. It is a nice price of a round smartwatch with heart rate monitor, IrDA, IP67 and nice look

I have found only one video about it, and yes, it is from GearBest as well. Tbh the guy recording it could have done it better, but whatever.
The final look is a little different than rendered, but still looks nice
Currently I am waiting for one piece to be shipped, finger crossed.

Hello, has anyone received/tried this watch??? I recently get it, and having problems with thw touchscreen response.
I should get it by the end of the week. What problem do You have exactly?
My biggest interest is the heart rate monitor; can it be left in the background with the pedometer to keep track of your heart rate during the day.
Or is it an app you have to specifically open to check.
Also, how is the android app selection, does this only work with the RWatch app, or do we have some other choices as well ?
@John_Edward as far as I searched for it, the app on the watch need to be opened. About the apps - will tell You in couple of hours, because today is the delivery day!
@MarianoRosario I will get it today's evening, You can ask me what You want to know

What do you think for this R11? Touch, app, and sensor, work fine?
First impressions
@MarianoRosario You should respond to seller about it, everything works fine for me with the touch - to be honest that is the only part I am 100% sure that will work when I want it to work
So I guess it is something with Your device. And if You bought it on GearBest they should respond.
@ilrisolutore I must say that touch is really good. I am even capable of choosing the correct number from dialpad at the first try (but ofc I tested it like 15 or 20 times, not something for everyday use for me).
Apps... You have 3 screens with them.
On the first there is message, contacts, recent calls, dialpad, bt settings, media control, remote camera, notifications and stopwatch.
On the second antytheft, power save, sound options, pedometer, compass, face changer (analog or digital), sleep tracker, main settings and date configuration.
On the last one there is alarms, reminder (like if You sit x minutes, You should move), heart sensor, IR remote and language changer.
So. The heart monitor works fine, but is not perfect. It does check Your pulse from almost every part of Your body - it can be on the wrist, it can be finger or leg. The score can be a little different then normal (I found like +- 5 bpm difference). But it does work properly - when You start to work out or run it does show You upper score, when You point it at something that does not live, it shows nothing. But You have to have the app opened to check it, it does not work in the background nor saving the results.
IR remote is great, You need to use Your normal remote to programm it, but after it - really good.
Pedometer is kinda ok. It does have steps + meters score, but it is not that accurate.
Turning on the watch automatically when the hand is rised works like 50/50. But even if, there is a 3-4 sec lag, so You will press the button for sure if You are interested about the time.
Compass works good after calibration.
Alarm is ok, it can vibrate or play some of predefined sounds.
But I have couple of problems with connection. Maybe it is because of MiBand, which I didn't unpair for the time using R11. Will see. But when connected - it works fine, showing up to 5 new notifications. If it is Twitter/Messenger or SMS You can for sure read whole message. And that is cool.
About the battery - when I tested it, using heart monitor, IR, vibration and dis/connecting all the time it handled 5 hours of sleep + 10.5 hours of work. Today after ~9h of work I have 3/5 of battery (but I turned off vibration, since the MiBand vibrates). So I guess it won't stand more then one day.
During the weekend I will try to upload the unboxing, both in Polish and English
After it, I guess at the end of the month, I will upload whole review (probably polish language + english subtitles).
If You have any questions - tell me

No.1 Sun S2 Smart Watch it's better then this?
For sure bigger and much more shiny. I think that is a basic question - what is Your taste?
R11 is much more elegant and is a little bit more like a classic normal watch.
If you wanna have a go with some different apps, I've listed a few that could work here.
Even if they don't work would be good to know.
And for battery life, there is a giant difference between true standby and daily use.
The R11 was advertised as having over 100 hours standby (4 days), but no info on screen-on time.
But I'll use my Nexus 7 tablet: Stand by time is roughly 8 days, or 216 hours (18mAh or 0.46%/hour). Screen on, you get 6 hours at 17%/hour.
So for each hour you have the screen on, you lose roughly 37 hours of standby time.
Something similar will happen for the R11.
But hey, as long as it lasts from when you wake up till you go back to bed, does it really matter ?

A really hard question.
The camera on the S2 is useless, the charging dock is really nice, and the body is completely subjective.
The big difference would be the software, but you can't really compare them without actually having both.
If you are deciding between the S2 and R11 and really can't decide, look at your wrist; if it's big, get the S2, if it's small, the R11. And by big I mean gigantic, the S2 is huge.
Hello! Which notifications work on this watch? I use Viber and Facebook Messenger alot. Will Viber work? What about mail syncronisation? I use gmail and my work mail... Thank you for your answer! Greetings from Croatia
@John_Edward I cannot install "MediaTek SmartDevice" - Error 505. And from the other apps only SmartWatch is working correctly (and is recommended by the company itself).
About the time - it is a problem if it not last all day And if somebody want to use it for the alarm or sleep tracker, then it will be also a problem.
@kkranjc7 All notifications. You can choose it in the app and then if the message comes (it can be an e-mail, TT, facebook etc.) it will be displayed on the watch (see example below). Also greetings from Poland I have visited Croatia 2 years ago, great country!
505 basically means you already have an app that steals a certain permission for itself, so no other similar apps can be installed at the same time.
Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
Oh, good to know, thanks. It is probably because of the app for MiBand, will see.
Also I tried to use the R11 with my BlackBerry Z10, but it is a no go - the watch is seen by BT as an external keyboard. And since there is no option to change the default input method, when the device is connected You cannot input any letters. So the R11 is not for BlackBerry OS.
I need help setting up the TV remote control, I do not have the instruction for setting it up. Can you sent me a link or a copy of the instruction it would be greatly appreciated.
@krambrown You need to have the original remote control. Then enter the 'television' or 'other' section, aim the IrDA from remote control at the IrDA in R11 and press the key You want to program. Repeat for all the buttons.
So e.g. You want to program the on/off button for Your Samsung TV, enter 'television' in R11, take the Samsung remote control and aim at the R11 IrDA. Then press the on/off button on Samsung remote control while pointing at smartwatch. If successful, the R11 will vibrate and highlight next button to program.
Can you write a response for an SMS straight from the watch ?
How about email, whatsapp, hangouts etc ?
Also, one issue that came up for another watch; if you have an sms with an emoji, how does the R11 behave ?
Some watches completely refuse to show any messages with emojis in them.

Axon 7 and Android Wear - Consistently Drops Connection and Forces Repairing

Hey all. So far I mostly love this phone, however I am noticing a few quirks. The main one is with Android Wear. I am connecting to a Huawei Watch. Works fine for a bit and then a pop up on the phone says it needs to be repaired and asks keep to confirm the 6 digit passcode on the watch and the phone. It happens at least twice a day. Very confusing why as I have a strong connection to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. What I am confused about is why it acts like it is no longer paired. It even removes it from my trusted list of Bluetooth devices. Anyone else having this problem?
Another issue is with when I used SMS backup app to move my messages and call logs over. It keeps popping up with an alert saying I have 4000 unread messages even though I have none.
Any help here is appreciated guys!
I decided to just do a complete factory reset. Nobody else seems to be having the issues I'm having and I think it's because I restored from another device, etc. I am going to set it up completely from scratch and see how it goes. I'll install each app one by one, etc. I'll report back if improvements on the Android Wear/Messaging front. Also, the ambient light sensor decided to go all wonky and would be SUPER dark - I had to literally hold the phone to a light bulb to have it change. Def wasn't doing that for the first few days I had it. Seems to all be software related.

Please tell me if that fixes it, because I want to get this phone and if it doesn't work correctly I'll keep looking.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Also, on my old phone, what I had to do was restart the phone and the watch at the same time.
So far so good! I did the Google restore, not the SMS Backup and Restore thing nor did I do the NFC backup from my Galaxy S7 edge like I did originally. The ambient light sensor is working perfectly now, all my apps are reinstalling, and it paired with Android Wear immediately, no drama. So far, things are looking good .
Same issue with Asus Zenwatch 3
I have the same issue with my Asus Zenwatch 3 and my european model of Axon 7. Will try the factory reset and get back. I also did the restore connecting with NFC from my previous Nexus 5.
I'm having 5 days now the new Zenwatch 3 and works flawlessly with Axon 7(A2017G version)
Notification works great.
No any kind disconnection.
Call quality through smartwatch in high level with loud and clear voice without interruption.
Music control through Zenwatch 3 to my Bluetooth hands free also works great.
Android Wear/Zenwatch Manager app installed at my Axon 7 working flawlessly with Zenwatch 3
Solid battery both at phone and smartwatch.
Until now everything rock solid.

Good to hear. I've been following threads here as I evaluate whether to get an Axon 7 or not.
I got a Zenwatch 3 recently. I'm using a NOte 4. I'm having problems with the phone being VERY laggy, even locking up for periods of time, when hooked to the watch. Battery runs down a lot faster too.
Maybe the Note 4 just isn't enough for Androidwear...
I ran my note 4 edge and 360 sport for quite a while with no issues what so ever. I've been running my 360 off this Axon 7 for a few days now also without issue. Everything has been updated to the latest of what's available, not sure what could be happening on your end. There is a permission authorization required to keep Android Wear connected.
Sent from my ZTE A2017U using XDA-Developers mobile app
Just wanted to add that Yes the restore is the issue. I would always restore my bluetooth connections from previous phone and always had issue like this until I would wipe date on bluetooth and do each device new then they would stick. SO i just always do bluetooth connections fresh now
Don't know if it helps at all, but I just got an Axon 7 and was having this exact same problem. Found this thread and did a factory reset and restore through Google instead of the restore through Helium which is what I did when I first got the phone. It would not stay paired with my LG Watch Urbane even after the reset. After a bit of monkeying, I realized the ZTE has some battery/power management app that by default won't let Android Wear stay active. You have to go in and tell it to ignore it. I assumed that when the Wear app was asking me as I first set it up to exclude it from battery optimization, it was taking care of it all. Once I realized (which I probably shoulda thought about first) and excluded Wear from the power saver, I have had no problems at all and it works better than my Nexus 6P at keeping connection with my watch.

No.1 D5+ - biased review and some tips

I bought this watch about month ago. This was also my first Android phone. I would like to share my experience as I noticed many unanswered questions in D5+ threads here.

First, why my review is suppose to be biased? It's biased simply because I'm not very typical user. I'm minimalist sort of. Yep, sounds funny when put in context with device that can do almost anything. So let me explain. I need no social media, no funny movies on Youtube, no camera. But I need badly phone on standby, gps with topo maps, and occasionally email or weather check.
Now some background of mine. I'm the happy owner of Nokia E52 - incredible device that offers phone, navigation, and (sluggish) internet. What is so special about this Nokia? Battery life. This phone runs Symbian and offers full day of gps navigation (Garmin!), gpx tracking (Endomondo) and phone availability. And weighs only 98 grams! Find me something like this with Android and I'm in.
I promised myself I will never buy phone that has everything worse than my Nokia. So why I was tempted to buy D5+? Well, I was tempted to have something even smaller and more convenient - also safer when resting on my wrist. I was always too much afraid to attach my precious Nokia to bicycle handle bar. Watch phone looks like a prefect idea for cycling. You can hear navigation audio and cycle through the great unknown. At least that was my dream. In the same time I was painfully aware that buying Chinese watch for 100 bucks is naive - to say the least. Was it really a mistake? After a month of playing with the thing I'm almost ready to say no. Why I'm not sure yet? Just because I still don't know one thing - how durable is this watch. But if it appears to last - I can say - IT'S GREAT WATCH!
What are the main achievements of this watch?
1. Android. works really smooth. No delays. Apps open immediately - much faster than on my Nexus 7 (2012 - Marshmallow CM 13.1). Not even once crashed. Booting time is less than a minute. Nice and easy.
2. Phone service. After careful setup, I estimate phone can make 40 hours on standby (only 2G, no wifi, no bluetooth, no mobile data) I never really tested it that long. It's hard to leave new toy unattended. But when I left it for 8 hours sleep battery could go only 12% down. GSM module feels very reliable. Watch connects to the network immediately - no troubles at all.
Being a minimalist - crucial thing for me was to have standalone phone watch. I don't dig this idea to have one big phone on the butt and one smaller baby speaker on my wrist. I would rather hang an earing on my tit than carry two phones.
I wanted to have it all in one small piece. But what about talking to your wrist? Well, It's not that bad as it seems. You can rise your hand to your ear and pretend that you have a phone. Or hide behind the corner. Quality of the tiny speaker is not bad at all. But it used to be - at least in my piece. After taking off the cover I noticed that tiny piece of rubber seal (under the speaker frame - not the big round seal) is touching the membrane. After pushing it aside the voice became very clear. The 2G communication sometime lacks clarity but It's not the watch but transmission itself. My Nokia is not much better in 2G mode. Mike works good, I'm very well understood by the caller. I tested conversation while riding my bicycle - works fine.
3. Wifi works great. Range is not in any way inferior to my Nexus 7 or Onyx reader. Browsing internet is fast, downloading as well. I was able to walk around my home and listen to BBC radio with no breaks. Google Play store also works like it should.
Bluetooth pairs easy with my Plantronics stereo headset though max music volume seems to be rather low - contrary to the phone conversation.
4. Mobile data gave me some hard time before I discovered that I had to manually chose the right provider (roaming enabled). Automatic mode doesn't connect to the right network when it comes to data - sometimes I get it sometimes not. There is also other obstacle. Watch seems to take a lot of power to use mobile data. It heats up tremendously. 5 minutes of mobile browsing can take 10 % of battery! I think something is not quite right here.
5. Apps. This is a full Android so you can install anything. Round screen is the only limitation that comes to mind. The latest firmware does have optional square mode but it makes app UI even smaller so I don't use it/
Google voice search works really great. Phone understands me better than my people - unless I speak Polish. You can also download language pack for offline speech to text. Keyboard input is possible if you have good eyesight and steady hands. I tried also google handwriting - it works but I always have trouble with "l" vs "i".
6. Last but not least - GPS. My watch had to have working GPS. So before I bought it I watched this helpful video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJBM5Y2ULDc
And that's exactly like it is. You can get gps fix even in the building (by the window - no wifi, no data) but only when you don't wear your watch on the wrist. Hand introduces serious interference to the signal - also by changing impedance of the antenna - basically changing parameters of the whole hardware setup. I red some scientific papers showing that worst disturbance (lowest antenna gain) happened when gps patch antenna was 5 centimeters from the body. But... I found that outside it is good enough - even with my winter cloths on - to provide gpx tracking and basic navigation. I mean, when riding bicycle, it can lose fix for a while so it can skip the turn command but in general it works. You can see where you are
Now example: I made 4 hour trip (17 km.) through snowy mountains covered with dense forests. Watch was on my wrist under the thick winter clothing. Osmand navigation was all the time on with continues use of GPS setting. Half of the way I made in airplane mode and half in 2G with one short conversation. In the forest gps fix occasionally got lost but it recovered by itself showing my position nicely.
For some half an hour I used voice navigation to know where to make a turn. I was than in the open space, in the village and it worked like charm. I checked the map maybe 20-30 times total (rather shortly) and the watch lasted all 4 hours. I see ir as a successes. 450 mAh battery should be able to get charged 5 times by my powerbank so it's not that bad when comparing to big Android phones.
Below you can see actual gpx track of that trip - exported to Endomondo when I got back. As you see, altitude reporting is not reliable at all but otherwise gpx trail is not that bad. Osmand navigation has great topo capabilities so watch was really able to help me not to get lost (I had my Nokia in the backpack but I didn't use it).
Update: Osmand working in the background can sometimes make phone call hard to understand by the other person. So you can consider turning on "battery saving" before answering the call. This will disconnect the GPS.
I also encourage any hikers, cyclists to install Gpx Plugin. It let's you to automatically record the track but there is more to it - after right configuration it also shows actual live track in real time which greatly improves orientation on the small screen. You just know which way you got to the point you are in so you know which direction to head.
I'm thinking of buying some bluetooth GPS logger for longer trips - in hope of saving battery and improving accuracy. But it will be a compromise. After all I didn't want to have two devices on me...
No.1 D5+ Problems and solutions:
1. Settings. Watch lacks many of the settings available on average Android device. Solution: Setting Search app from PlayStore helps in finding hidden settings.
2. Quick access to your favorite apps is not that easy when you have to scroll down through all apps list (scrolling itself works great). Best solution for me: app called Swipe Padd. With correct setting and a little practice you can turn on your fav apps without even looking at the screen.
4. Small font for poor eyesight (like mine). Solution: Install Engineering Mode app and very carefully tweak font settings. Doesn't work in every app but now I can read sms with font bigger than on my Nokia E52.
5. App buttons and other stuff hidden in the corners. Solution: You can configure three tap zoom (hidden setting) and use it close to the edge. It will reveal hidden content. Other option is to configure watch to use square mode (newest firmware only)
6. GPS fix. Solution: reboot the watch - for me it works without using other popular methods like editing cfg file or downloading agps data. Watch is not rooted and it gets a fix while sitting on my window seal - with mobile data, wifi and bluettoh off, 2G and high accuracy on. If you still have troubles try to enable wifi to download agps data and install gps test to observe the satellite signals.(remember to turn off wifi when you go outside).
7. Osmand navigation UI troubles. Solution: You can use three tap zoom to operate hidden buttons or menu. It works. I edited original apk to show missing zoom-out, menu buttons etc. also made arrow larger (see the first photo above)
It's good to download Gpx Recording Plugin (from Osmand Plugin menu - it's free). With the right configuration it stops Osmand services when you close the app (by sweeping). Without it Osmand will still try to navigate you - even if you closed it by sweeping. To shut it up you have to reboot the watch or it will kill your battery. It's well known problem of Osmand where developers don't wish to listen to the users - they know better.
8. Battery life. Solution: turn off all possible syncs, disable whattsap, google location services, use 2G, mobile data off, wifi off, bluetooth off. If you are not navigating use watch with the battery saving mode (available from the home screen). Sim module still works.
9. Firmware update. I works via OTA quite fine. But I advice you before any upgrade to visit manufacturers site and read possible complaints from users. It saved me from troubles when I was about to update my firmware. I found it was buggy so I skipped install and waited for another firmware update. It came but on my watch the older bad update option persisted so I had to flash the new one from PC. I used this method: https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-439.html
To summarize, it looks that this is really good watch if it only stays this way. The biggest concern is a strap. I disconnected it from the watch on one side and it had two holes for antennas. There was a black antenna cable in one hole connecting strap to the watch. I guess that on the other side there are two antennas. It makes together three so one antenna has to have two functions. Anyway, for now strap seems to be sturdy but what will come with the summer sweat?
Certainly this isn't a watch for people who are afraid of tweaking this and that, reading and experimenting. They will always complain about battery life, small screen and hidden buttons. In general I find Android a geeky system. Level of knowledge to use it efficiently is quite high so if you don't enjoy problem solving better buy iPhone.
I've shared my experience in hope to help you decide if this watch can answer your needs. For those few that managed to read it all, please correct me if I've made any errors. Hopefully some development follows another happy users.
Update: Now, after using watch for the last half a year I can tell this: Watch definitely is not water proof. Water can get behind the screen and make screen go nuts. It persist for long until the thing dries form inside. There is a solution: I took my watch apart and applied sealant to the frame where screen glass comes. Then I pushed glass inside and used some pressure to make it tight. After that, watch is not afraid to be splashed with water - I use it also when kayaking.
When cycling, for the good GPS reception you can fasten watch around the brake cables of the bike. With this setup gps is almost as precise as of regular big phone. During longer rides It can be also safely charged in this position from power bank. Small 3000 mAh power bank will give you at least two full days of navigation and trip recording. All accompanied by active GSM module to tell your family you are fine.
Wow, what a long post.
Well, its ok to use it on wifi

So I've had a couple days to play with it. Here are my thoughts.
1: Mine came with what appears to be a bubble in the glass layers, and some chips in the bezel around the glass.
2: The watch is much lighter than I thought it would be for being so large.
3: Text can be small, but is still quite readable.
4: Things are resized for this watch's screen resolution. (It's Android OS, not Wear OS) When installing an application, some of the options (accept, install, yes, no), barely show up on the screen.
5: Build quality seems on par with the price. It's not "cheap" feeling, but also not "quality."
6: The camera quality is on par with what you'd expect for a camera put into a watch. It records as well as takes still pictures.
7: It's definitely snappier than my TicWatch Pro LTE for menu and most navigation, however there are some times when it doesn't shine as well (like when just trying to log in to my gmail account).
8: Battery life right now with installing apps, usage, screen going on and off, wifi on, bluetooth on, no sim, gps off, I'm at 93% (6 hours of I'd say heavy use with installing apps and setup).
9: The screen is VERY bright, but has the ability to dim it like a phone.
10: There are 11 watch faces built in. Most of the options are quite ugly but also contain some "transformer " looking options (I guess this goes with the "Prime" aspect of it.
11: You can set it to either metric or imperial measurements for your fitness tracking
12: The app that you can download for it is called WiiWatch (No relation to Nintendo I'm sure). It really only just shows your fitness tracking data and has a few settings.
The packaging is interesting, every box has Kospet on it. It comes with a screw driver, as well as additional screw(s), a screen protector, a charger + usb cable. I'd like to add that the usb cable plugging into the charger does not go in all the way, as well as the watch resting on it doesn't always make the best connection.

I've just bought it...
When I get it I can leave some insights if you want.
It's a great watch build quality super, the only thing it's font size on notification and the browser, install setting search and change the font size to large, leave the display size as it's. Good looking watch

Have you received it already? Mine says it was shipped today, so it will still take a few weeks I guess.
Is it well synchronized with your phone? Do you receive all the notifications from Messenger and Whatsapp without delays?
You have to share you internet connection in order to have those right? You share it from bluetooth?
Also, how's it in terms of battery life?
Thanks in advance!
I have received it. I didn't wear it for the weekend, and when I came back (after ~50h), it still had 50% of battery left. It gets the notifications via Bluetooth, dismissing them dismisses them only from the watch. I don't know if they are actionable. Then it disconnected and I stopped getting them, but oh well, at least it shows the time.
How do I install Wear OS on this thing? The original software is... ugh. On the watch you have just Android 7, but the phone app is typical Chinese sh*t with no settings and almost no functionality (just to disable some apps form sending notifications, view fitness data, battery level and download watchfaces with no search/sort options ). Doesn't let you configure anything on the watch remotely (and I don't like watch touchscreens that much...)
When I won the battle of enabling google assistant on the watch, and asked it to turn on the lights, it... googled the phrase. Even though it's the same account as I use everywhere else.

i did return mine because it have some dust debris between the display and i don't like Gear..****. So they don't have the watch anymore in stock, that is what they
said and they will give me the money back loosing expending $10 more in the transaction . so i did decide to buy the Lemfo Lem10 3/32Gb for $125 .
The Prime its pretty build quality and good looking, for me the downside was the resolution 400x400 for 1.6" inches display still the font size too small and for outdoors purpose the IPS display wasn't really good like the Zeblaze Thor Pro 3g Android 5.1, year old device.
Don't install or use the Wiiwatch companion app, instead use Watchdroid app its much better, yes you will get all the notification with more features and everything with Bluetooth connection, don't need for internet sharing. Go to Discouse Fullandroid watch.com and you will find all kinds of information.

no much time to play ,i did return it in 3 days after
I'll be making updates to the original post as I dig in some more.
Just came back from a hol in the states and met this watch on my desk. Nice build quality and as previously mentioned not as light as the size would suggest. Just installing apps on it now. Will get back on how it's going.. I have been using it pretty hevily and i have already drained 60% of power after 5 hours.. Not sure if this is acceptable but i can't keeep my hands off the thing so the display has been on for a fair while each time. Incidently, the battery came 100% charged.

any new reports from the last days?
A friend of mine already got it in England and he says that if you are using the WatchDroid app also the battery drains a lot!
Also, he says that it keeps disconecting, he needs to open the app on the watch to get all the notifications. Do you relate to any of this?

Not entirely sure this is down to WatchDroid though I have uninstalled it now myself. My battery drain was mainly down to the Wifi adapter being enabled. this has definately been an issue with previous versions of the Kospet watch range and I suspect this may not have changed here. I was down to 50% battery within half a day with Wifi enabled.. Having disasbled it i am easily getting the best part of 2 plus days out of it with moderate use and disabling Wifi when not using it.

We found a solution in this forum:
https://discourse.fullandroidwatch.com/t/the-kospet-prime-official-post/50234/200
Apparently he doesn't "like" to have the WiiWatch and watchdroid on at the same time....once he deactivated all the WiiWatch services it's all good...
I'm still waiting to receive mine, it's been on Amsterdam wearhouse for a couple of days, smoking one out I guess...
Short review after a few days of use - Kospet PRIME
I am advanced user of the smartwatches since the first generation of Galaxy GEAR watch from SAMSUNG (SM-V700) with custom rom (full android)
It would be great to have similar watch with current up-to-date hardware - main request is to keep the camera placement facing outwards (on the body of the watch, not on the belt) to ensure that watch is water tight to 50 meters (at least to allow swimming/snorkeling with it – see Sunto watches for good water tight specs)
For Kospet Prime – Watch is nice but I have following (software) problems:
1. cradle connection sound would be nice to have – for now it is not sure that it is really well connected and charging
2. charging icon is displayed but too short time – please display it for longer or for whole time when watch is connected to the cradle
3. lack of ability to customize buttons (especially down button for camera operation for example
4. lack of configurable default applications screen – by sweeping right – after the list (or “apple style” apps icons) there should be possible to select 6-9 application shortcuts in the screen
5. lack of quick dial contact list (I need to be able to dial quickly to 6 or 9 contacts – activate call on the main phone when watch is in airplane mode, and activate call on the watch with SIM active
6. switching from round to square screen make the menu list invisible (ok after restart)
7. swipe up shall be customizable – instead of default sport application it should be configurable – for example to launch camera
8. temperature on the default watch screen is updated, however with delay (only when weather check is done)
9. video on the main camera is recorded VERTICALLY ???!!! WHY not horizontally ???
10. COMMUNICATION WITH PHONE when with watch in the “airplane mode” but with BT/wifi on - to see incoming calls notifications – who is calling. When (Connected normal big Android phone) phone is ringing – this shall be improved – please start to work with company Lumatic Software - and integrate/optimize well their application “Watch Droid” - in general please be more aware of the real use of the watch – in most cases watch is used WITH close integration with large phone (like Samsung NOTE10+) and all messages from phone shall be displayed on the watch, it should be possible to start phone calls from watch but ON THE PHONE with BT headset connected, so for example when You are riding the bike, there is no need to take big phone out from the pocket- You start the phone call from the watch, and talk over BT headset. Phone functionality in the watch itself is used only from time to time – for example if somebody goes to run or goes to the beach (that is why 5atm water tightness is needed) – just to be able to make quick phone call from the watch, without taking “big” phone on the run. In general – please copy the behavior (and stability ) of the Samsung watches, just keep the camera ..
11. Please allow to disable animation for time display – If somebody want to have quick look – it takes time the watch “stabilize” and shows real time
12. Screen on rising – works with delay – it is not stable for all the time
13. Default setup is missing calculator application.
14. temperature on the default watch screen is updated, however with delay (only when weather check is done)
15. contacts are displayed by first name instead of last name – I did not find the way to switch this setting for last name first
16. For desktop adaptation and functionality – please try to allow configuration as in NOVA LAUNCHER – to be able to set icons as needed, enable swipe actions, etc.
Hardware upgrade requests for “ideal watch”:
- 5 atm water tight – please make such watch really water tight to allow to swim/dive with it
- Cameras shall be placed at 12 hour Instead of 3 and face outwards (same as on SM-V700 Samsung watch) with second camera front facing.
- Camera shall record video in horizontal mode PLEASE!!!!
- Camera quality – please use 5MP camera sensor with good low light quality – there is no need for too many megapixels, but the camera shall offer good quality
- Two more customizable buttons on the left of the watch to launch custom applications quickly
- Wireless charging
- Reliable pulse/ecg measurement

From what I could gather, most of your problems can be solved if you install WatchDroid instead of WiiWatch and also put on a launcher (can't remember the name now). Don't forget that this is a fully-fledged android so we can tweak around all we want...

I am already waiting 5 years since SM-V700 Galaxy gear watch... but I do not think that it will take that long right now - in fact it is jut the redesign of the watch case to move the camera to the top of the watch, and I hope that this new chassis will also be redesigned to feature 5atm water tightness. The rest of the watch is quite good - battery capacity in PRIME is 4 times!!! the capacity of SM-V700 (1260 vs 315 mAh) I have made custom setup for the watch and thanks to Watch Droid application in the v9.1.19.9 version (previous than the version available now in Playstore) it is possible to integrate watch with the android phone quite well.
I will try to publish YT video about it.
Are there any other forums I can check out for help with this watch? Anyone got a recommendation of companion app other than Wii Watch (utter toilet) or Watch Droid (flaky at best)

T-Mobile has Finally released the Android 11 Updgrade for OnePlus 8 5G

The wait is OVER! T-Mobile OnePlus 8 5G Android 11 update has been released (well to select few with issues for sure). This is not official but I can confirm that I do infact have it. No root. Yes I am unlocked and came from Sprint but that played no part in the Update I received.

Go ahead and check now. I was a former Sprint - Tmobile Failed TNX Transfer. After months of being told complete nonsense, they proactively called me, troubleshot and without notice I checked again and there it was. This could be a TS Procedure, however, see attached Screenshots and I believe everyone will see it Feb 2-4th. My experience as one of the initial transfers has been anything but smooth. However, I commend their Customer Service and their Tech SUpport for owning the issue and this may have saved me as a customer. Mind you I will absolutely not buy from them again, however, I will sell this oneplus 8 5g that is unlocked for the 8t/8Pro or 9 Pro unlocked and stick with them for the outstanding customer service!
AOD doesn't have the all day function like global does, modem cant switch from 5g to 4g without a reboot or airplane mode toggle, wifi calling works when if "feels" like it.
@esjames so just to confirm are you saying that you're having issues with the automatic transition from 5G to 4G or vice versa? Cuz that would be a very big problem for me especially since I am 99% of my time on my home Wi-Fi and have been missing calls ever since doing the upgrade. Can you confirm that if I do do a global conversion will that result in error and if so do you happen to have a guide on how to convert from Android 11?
Thank you in advance.
It doesn't appear to have AOD? that's the one feature I wanted. Ugh
I went and got the iphone 12 pro yesterday, and yes "all day" aod isnt there and 4g-5g switching works only sometimes. Got tired of it dropping signal. Global firmware doesnt have stand alone 5g but at least it didnt drop signal.
Missing features aside (it seems several releases back from what I'm seeing in OnePlus' forums, where several devices are on 11.0.3.3 and 11.0.5 is in beta testing) how is it overall? Stability, battery life, Android Auto, etc?
Most says beta 5 is more stable than the stable release. The global release is pretty good. Battery life kinda sucks though
Are you guys having issues with YouTube and twitch mini screen hiding on the bottom of the screen and not appearing on recent apps?
I just updated. I hope I don't regret this

I like with the exemption of YouTube and maps mini floating screen disappearing
I'm not too thrilled with the update. Very laggy and buggy, wiped cashed data and it seems to have helped.... Slightly. Missing some text after a little while I'll get 3-4 all at the same time. I'm going to unlock and throw rhe international version on it very soon.
My first test of Android Auto in the truck was not great. At first everything seemed fine, but it got extremely slow after checking out 3 or 4 apps. I'll clear cache on related apps and see if that helps. The phone itself has been fine so far.
So first real test of Google navigation on AA today, and it wasn't good. When I searched for a place and selected directions, it showed three options, but the routes were not highlighted on the selection screen or while navigating, no matter how many times I closed the app and re-did the search. Finally I gave up and used Waze, which worked fine. I tried Google Maps again partway through, and that time it showed the route, but I cancelled it. When I got where I was going and unplugged the phone, it was very warm and there was a temperature warning - actually it said device temperature was back to the safe range. It's never done that before. Also the phone still had a persistent navigation notification shown that didn't want to go away. I am really disappointed right now. Normally I would also stream music while navigating, but didn't this time, and it still made the phone really warm on top of the other issues.
I don't care for the update either. Has crazy lag with screen transitions. Android Auto works fine for me. Freezes up when phone screen is left on. Turn off phone screen and android auto is responsive again. Did notice the missing navigation route issue once or twice. Forgot how I solved it but it's working now.
Otherwise just got the update yesterday. I will also say I think the maps issue is the actual maps app. Mine did it on android 10 not 11.
Also keyboard has round corners now?
Ever since I've updated there has been a problem with texting and I'm hoping someone might have an answer.
After I updated I noticed I could receive group text but my one on one text don't arrive (and I have timed it 15 20 minutes later.
I tried different texting apps (I use Textra) but nothing changed.
I did a factory reset and nothing changed
I called T Mobile and replaced sim card and after talking to technicians - nothing changed
I've changed settings and texting apps again - nothing changed.
Can anyone help?
I cannot get one on one text or app verification codes quick enough to install certain apps but I can still receive group maeesages quickly.
Am I the only one have trouble connecting in FlashMode? No matter what I've tried, debugging on, debugging off, the "Adb devices" command doesn't see a da** thing. I could've sworn I had connect to this phone with the android 10 version.
BTW, I had to laugh, 'cause it took me a minute to find the Flashmode option in the new Power menu. They sort of hid it.
Just wondering because I've been trying all afternoon. Probably just something stupid I'm doing but I gotta get this going so I can debloat thing. This rom is so loaded with bloatware, it's crazy. After I got finished paring down all the Sprint apps that were on my LG V50 it weighed about 5lb less and this one's is way worse.

nope. just february patch with bug fixes.
Still no AOD, pathetic. Who do we complain to - Tmobile or OnePlus?
Things have been better since I cleared the cache from the recovery menu. I don't remember the phone charging at only 1A in the car before. Seems to be the same whether I use Android Auto through the radio's USB port or my car charger. I guess the OnePlus 8 doesn't support Quickcharge?
